Hours later and Isobelle was halfway through the weekly stocktake at P3 Henry's question replaying in her mind. It had been obvious he had known the answer before he had asked . His tone of voice had implied a pre-existing knowledge of the situation and that he had inkling that she wasn't herself. She never was when Wyatt acted like a prat. Henry talked to her the most in the house. Chris mostly brooded over the book of Shadows or was at the restaurant while Wyatt was out doing whatever he did and even when Wyatt was around Henry gravitated towards Isobelle as she was quite often the one who listened to him and accepted him for who he is. Wyatt had had a hard time accepting that his younger cousin may just be mortal and not magical as he was. Isobelle had pulled him up about it and called him out on his behaviour a few times but Wyatt being stubborn had not let up and so Isobelle had taken Henry under her wing with Wyatt easing up slightly to avoid confrontation with her. They all lived in a house where normality was a foreign concept and it meant their relationships shouldn't have worked but it did. They were a family and even Isobelle ever the voice of reason could not deny it. Isobelle had managed to cheer herself up somewhat from her encounter with Wyatt just hours before with the somewhat effortless throwing around of boxes and crates in the stock room as she counted the contents systematically. Some of the boxes were full while some had been completely emptied since the last stocktake but not thrown out. Isobelle found it rather therapeutic as she tossed yet another box around the small cramped space with ease towards the door as blue Orbs showered the room as Chris orbed in.

'Ow!' Chris stated as the box hit him, causing Isobelle to turn quickly and defensively.

'Sorry Chris.' She relaxed as she realised it was Chris and Chris picked up one of the strewn crates before turning it upside down and using it as a seat in the store room doorway.

'It's ok.' Chris offered as she continued on with the stocktake her back towards him.

'What you doing here? Shouldn't you be at the restaurant?' Isobelle asked as she tallied up the cartons of orange juice on the shelf, marking it off on her list, before counting the tonic waters next to them and then started on the boxes of crisps.

'I figured I'd come say hi and see how you're doing.' Chris shrugged as Isobelle faced him once again.

'You're making sure that I've not gone neurotic because Wyatt had a girl over again last night. Why is everyone asking me that?' Isobelle scoffed without meaning to, all her built up anger and hurt becoming audible in her voice. She knew it wasn't Chris's fault that Wyatt acted the way he did but Chris always seemed to fret over her reaction or over analyse it like she wasn't entitled to feel the way she did.

'Not neurotic no…' Chris laughed. 'But you've just answered my question.'

'He'll do what he wants and you are trying to analyse everything again Chris. What is it you think you are seeing?' Isobelle sat on the floor in front of the younger Halliwell brother.

'I'm seeing you get worked up yet again because my brother obviously doesn't see the amazing woman in front of him and instead of actually talking to you he goes out and pretends that he doesn't care about you.'

'Who says it's a pretence? We fight demons Chris maybe Wyatt will never fall in love with anyone and the way he acts is a coping mechanism, infuriating but a coping mechanism.'

'I see the way he looks at you. Infuriating huh?' Chris shot Isobelle a wink, attempting to add a bit of humour and teasing her.

'Yes extremely infuriating but he'll never change. He will always be Wyatt, pain in the ass socialite who only cares for himself.' Isobelle shrugged.

'Our Wyatt.'

'Your Wyatt, not ours.' Isobelle corrected Chris all too eagerly causing him to sit back as she stood up and picked her clipboard back up. Chris was analysing her every word and she knew it. He knew by her reaction that there was more than what she was saying and she had corrected him far too quickly and unconvincingly. She had pointed at him as she stood up.

'You're right I'm stuck with him for life. You choose to stick around.'

'Only because of the power of three.' Isobelle remarked over her shoulder. Chris knew she didn't mean it and Isobelle knew she was trying to convince herself as much as Chris. Truth was she needed the Halliwell brothers and Henry as much as they needed her. She just wished Wyatt would see things from others point of view every once in a while.
