Ever since Tsuna's first visit, he'd been calling her almost every day to ask if he could drop by to see them. It was still difficult for Haru to be at ease around his presence especially when he would try and start a conversation with her. She would stutter and often look away or excuse herself. It was not easy for her to interact with him due to the fact that it had been too long since she'd last seen him and she couldn't disregard the fact that they had something in the past.

She was head over heels in love with for goodness sake! And it'd been so hard for her to forget everything that's happened to them. Good and bad.

One by one the memories she'd shared with him came rushing back. Sometimes she would dream of them, and at times she would let herself recall those days when she was still with him. Although it wasn't the memories she was afraid of; it was the feelings that came along with it.

Haru's thoughts were suddenly interrupted when she heard the doorbell rang. She immediately headed towards the door and opened it.

"Haru-chan!" The woman with long golden hair that reached just above her waist exclaims as she threw her arms around the brunette. "I missed you so much!" the woman exclaims. Haru had taken a second before she could grasp who was holding on to her and when she realized who it was, she immediately hugged her in return.

"Kyoko-chan!" she cries. Her eyes then shifted to the pink haired woman who was standing not far from them, she stared at her from head to toe observing every inch of her fully developed body. "Bianchi-san?" she calls uncertainly.

The woman smiles, "It's been a while, Haru"

They entered the house and Haru led them to the living room. She went off to the kitchen momentarily to make tea for her guest and as soon as she came back she was probed by the two regarding the events that had happened to her during the last six years.

Haru told them about how she had lived with her Aunt Emi during the first two years. After she had given birth to her child, she decided to find a job. But since she had only graduated high school the job opportunities were minimal. She couldn't go to college because she was taking care of her baby, and if she could she didn't have enough money for the money left to her by her parents was only enough to support her and her son's daily needs. She figured if she could save up enough money, then she would apply to a college university.

Haru eventually got a job at the bakery store. The payment was enough, and she enjoyed working at a place filled with different kinds of cakes.

"It was so tempting but I had to stop myself from taking a piece from the cakes in the counter." She giggles. "My co-workers and manager were nice too, which is why it wasn't hard for me to adjust to my first job."

She thought everything was going to get better starting then, but of course life isn't that gratifying.

One night when she came home late, she stumbled upon her aunt's conversation with her husband.

Haru paused, thinking about how to disclose to them what she had heard that night. "Well let's just say that aunt and uncle aren't happy with having a free loader in their house"

After that night Haru pretended not to know anything, she started looking for another part time job, and worked day and night for the whole week, while Sora was left at home in the care of her aunt.

But no matter how hard she had worked, it didn't seem enough, she would see debt reminders in their mailbox. And every night she would see her uncle counting up their expenses and the money they still had with a frustrated look on his face.

And then one day due to an argument that was from her relative's pent up frustration, Haru was forced to leave the house.

Fortunate for her, her co-worker Akane, agreed to let her stay in for at least until she could find another place for her and her son to live in. Although she didn't know how she would manage to rent a house and still have enough money for her and her son.

And it was as if life was not done torturing her. Her son was sent to the hospital after waking up in the middle of the night out of breath. Haru was told that her son was born due to a weak heart and it was vital for him to have a heart transplant as soon as possible.

She was exasperated, "Where was I going to get the sum of money needed for her sora's operation—let alone rent a house!"

Although what she was disclosing was something that would seem a bit depressing, a smile crept along Haru's face that confused the two women across her.

Haru then told them about how she stumbled upon Gokudera in a hospital where Sora was confined.

"He was there when I was in the brink of mayhem. He paid for Sora's hospital bills—which of course I told him I would pay him back. Sora was discharged, thankfully, after a successful surgery. And Gokudera offered us to stay here in his house" Haru says gesturing around. "He's like our hero," She chuckled.

"Why would Gokudera have a house outside Namimori?" Kyoko asks.

"That stupid idiot's probably got some irrational reason" Bianchi answered.

"I'm sorry you had to go through all that alone, Haru" Kyoko looked at her sympathetically as she placed a comforting hand on Haru's hands.

"I wasn't alone, Gokudera helped us" Haru smiled at them. Kyoko noticed how Haru referred to the silver haired man so casually, but made no comment.

"Tch," Bianchi frowns. "I can't believe he kept this from us all these years"

"Please don't get mad at him Bianchi san, it told him to keep my situation a secret"

"But why?"

"I didn't want to be a bother to you" Haru replied. "And neither did I want to drag Gokudera into this, but he just happened to be there at the right time. When he offered everything that I needed, I just couldn't say no"

"But why didn't you call Tsu-kun instead?"

Kyoko's question rendered Haru speechless. The brunette clenched her fist as she concealed her growing discomfort to where the conversation was leading. Yet Kyoko seemed to be unaware as she asked further. "Do you hate him?"

Haru merely sat silently, pondering on how she would answer her best friend's question.

"Ah—is that...?" Bianchi pointed towards the doorway and the two women turned to see a spiky haired young boy peeking from where he stood.

"Sora," Haru called out. The boy slowly made his way towards his mother. "How long have you been standing there?"

"Sora wasn't snooping!" he quickly defended.

"He's so cute~" Kyoko remarked as she smiled warmly at the boy.

"It's amusing how the resemblance is striking, it would be foolish to question whether he is his legitimate son," Bianchi observed.

"Sora, this is Aunt Kyoko and Aunt Bianchi" Haru pointed to the two women accordingly. Sora smiled brightly at them.

After the child had gone back up to his room, the conversation was then focused on Bianchi and Kyoko. Bianchi had been going back and forth from Italy to Japan due to some Mafia business, and is a big help during conflicts within the mafia resulting into battle that would soon end with the Vongola having the upper hand.

Kyoko has been living in the Vongola mansion along with her brother for all these years, she wasn't expected to have job outside due to having her life at risk for being involved in the mafia. And it wasn't as if she needed more money than what was given to her by her brother. But in order not to get bored, she would focus herself in helping around the mansion especially in the kitchen area.

Haru had a notion, one that sparked an old feeling in her heart. If she had been living in the Vongola Mansion, she would've been spending quite a lot of time with Tsuna, now that they are living under the same roof. Had Tsuna's feelings for Kyoko returned?

Although, she thought, it might have never been gone in the first place.

"How about your relationships," Haru began. "Are you seeing someone right now?"

Kyoko shook her head, "But my heart's set on one person," She softly says.

Could it be? After all these years? Tsuna's feelings are finally reciprocated? She thought.

"But it seems futile because he already belongs to someone else" Kyoko mutters staring back up into the brunette's eyes.

Haru shook off the curious feeling that was uprising inside her. She turns to look at Bianchi who was taking a sip from her tea. "How about you Bianchi-san? Have you finally met the man for you?"

"Actually," Bianchi says as she placed the cup down the table, she looked at Haru with a forming smile on her lips, "We also came here to ask if you'd be free on April 5th,"

Haru considered if she had anything planned for the next month, "Well, I don't usually go out that much, so I don't think I'd be doing anything by then," She replied. "Why?"

The woman took out an envelope with intricate white and pale pink designs and handed it towards the brunette. Haru reached for the envelope and her eyes widened as she read the inscription that was elegantly printed on it.

"Hahi?! A wedding?!" She suddenly stood up as she said her signature phrase. A smile made her way into her lips, "Congratulations Bianchi-san!" she exclaims as she went to embrace the pink-haired woman. "Who's the lucky man?"

"Mercutio," Bianchi responded. "I met him while I was in Italy. He works as a chef and owns a restaurant there"

"That's amazing-desu" Haru didn't know why, but the sudden excitement that was filling her heart and the fact that she had finally seen her old friends once more, made her unconsciously use the expressions that she thought she had grown out of.

"So will you be coming?" Bianchi confirmed.

"Of course!" Haru chirped.

When nightfall came, Kyoko and Bianchi decided that it was time for them to head back to the mansion. Haru saw them out and they exchanged their hugs.

"Ne Haru," Kyoko began. "Why don't you come back and live with us Namimori?" she suggested, "Well it not really my call as the house is not mine, but I'm sure Tsu-kun wouldn't mind having you with us"

"That would be great but we're already settled here," Haru responds. "But I'll come visit when I can"

"Promise?"

"Promise,"

I told you I'd update another chapter :D, I'm really sorry if there really isn't much happening in the chapters that I've uploaded, but I felt like I really needed to explain everything before I can move on. But perhaps after chapter 10 there would be less flashbacks and more on the present conflict that they're going to encounter, I hope that's not too long or boring for you
