Strangers
A young man and a young woman sat next to each other on a train. The young woman took out a book and began reading.
The train stopped at many stations but she didn't look up from her book, not once.
The young man watched her for a while, and asked
"What are you reading?"
She looked up from her book and said
"It's a ghost story; it's very good and VERY spooky…"
The young man raised an eyebrow
"Do you believe in ghosts?"
He asked.
"Yeah, I do…There are ghosts everywhere…you know?"
He shook his head and said
"I don't believe in them, it's just a lot of superstition… I've never seen a ghost in my whole life…not one."
The young lady smirked and said
"Haven't you?"
And vanished.
