The woman stands at the edge of the cliff at twilight letting the wind whip her hair around her face hiding the tears that fall down her tragically beautiful face. No one is around as she stands thinking of her failures. Her dress whips violently around her legs attempting to trip her as she took another small step towards the edge. The voices of her mother and husband fill her head; they tell her how much of a failure she was as a woman, wife, and now mother. Her baby boy's face fills her mind as well, her baby she had let die. Now the woman did the only thing she could, stand at the edge of a cliff ready to fall, into the abyss below.

She was not afraid to die, afraid of the silence that surrounded her; she knew that she deserved all of it. For being a horrible wife and mother. One more step put her feet right at the edge, she was ready for it. Before death she called one more image to mind, the image of the handsome doctor that had disappeared when she was the age of sixteen. The man that had been wrong saying she wasn't a failure, for she was. The wind seemed to become stronger with every passing second; a storm was seconds away.

"I'm sorry." She whispers as she takes the last step.

She falls into the abyss, her scream pierces the silent twilight.
