Azula:

There once was a girl,

Her name being Lucky

Though recognized as "Azula",

The tide perpetually rolled in her favor,

She commanded fate

Or so it seemed,

The glossed chill of her voice,

The devious garb of all that she was,

Demanded nothing less than perfection

For to fail was of tremendous consequence,

She seized the fear

Lurking in everyone's eyes,

Friend or foe,

None could escape her claws

Except one,

His name was Ozai,

Father of the beast,

Sheppard of evil,

The one Lucky respected most

And would not dare oppose,

He was the only one,

The only

One

Who understood,

Who could hope to relate

To the inner turmoil churning within,

She craved his attention,

Nay, his approval

For the mother she vied to forget

Faltered in dealing the proper love,

Stealing it all away for that heretic…

Zuko…

Her name was Lucky,

All the fortune of the world

Tousled in her hand,

Until fate betrayed her one day

And she fell victim to herself,

Too crippled to tolerate the blows,

Although previously unrealized,

She served under defeat,

No longer Lucky,

But simply "Azula"
