Danny set out to prepare the town. The rain had started to go down, but the storm wasn't over. He made an announcement to the whole town.
"I left this town years ago when a lot of you had attacked me" he said into the microphone, as he stood behind a podium in front of City Hall, his team behind him, Ember next to him.
"But I have chosen to forgive you all, whether you are sorry or not" he said "as a new evil is about to make a way to this town, and we need to stand together and protect ourselves."
His parents pulled up in the Fenton RV.
"As you see" he said, indicating the RV "my parents are here to transport tools that shall allow you all to protect yourselves from the evil heading our way."
Danny didn't notice it, but Maddie and Jack had begun to tear up when he said that they were his parents again.
"I do not know when these villains are to come here, but we need to prepare for the inevitable!" he finished.
The citizens dispersed, and anti-ghost and protective weapons were handed out.
He glared when Sam took the anti-ghost pistol, which shot bullets like a regular one, but could kill a ghost instantly. But he didn't have the time to do anything about it as he and his team got ready.
"Before we prepare" he said to Johnny, Kitty, Sidney, and Ember "I need to go get someone."
He kissed Ember and said "I'll be back, I promise."
But Ember wouldn't have it!
"I'm coming with you!" she said.
Danny didn't argue with her.
"Who are you going to go get?" Youngblood asked.
"Danielle" he answered plainly.
He and Ember flew off.
They didn't need to guess where Danielle was; they already knew. She would be somewhere ANY kid her age would want to be, Anaheim California.
Or, to be more specific, Dinseyland!
They found her mingling with the crowd near the Haunted Mansion, trying not to look suspicious. But she did cause a bit of a scene when she saw Danny and Ember, who were looking for her.
"DANNY!!" she shouted happily, and ran over to him.
She leapt into Danny's arms, and they hugged.
Ember wanted to join in, but knew it was more of a 'cousin-moment', But Danny pulled her into it.
When Danny set her down, Danielle asked "what's going on?"
"I wanted to make sure you were okay," Danny told her "because something's happening that could put EVERYONE in danger."
Dani got serious.
"Is king Karsh on his way?" she asked.
Danny shook his head and said "worse."
Dani went white.
"Who could be worse then King Karsh?!" she said.
Danny scratched the back of his head.
"It's hard to explain," he said "buts it's basically an alternate version of myself from the future, who is pure evil."
Ember herself finally had to ask.
"How bad is this dude, honey?" she asked.
Danny sighed.
"Remember a few weeks ago, when you said you felt fat?" he asked, indicating her belly.
She put her hands over her stomach and nodded.
"Well, YOUR alternate future self would make you feel like a skeleten" he said, Ember getting a surprised look "Because of MY future self, you lost your singing voice and went into a deep depression, Johnny ended up in a wheelchair, and even Box Ghost ended up losing an eye and a hand."
"Oh dear god…" Ember said.
"So we need to get you and Danielle to a safe place" he said.
Dani didn't like the sound of that. Nor did Ember.
"I'm not gonna act like some defenseless little girl" Danielle said "I'm gonna fight this guy along with you!"
"Same here!" Ember said.
"You girls don't understand; he isn't like me," Danny said "He'll KILL if he gets a chance or not!"
"If we die, then we die" Ember said.
"But he could do something else; he could cause you to have a miscarriage!" Danny said.
Ember couldn't rebut that, but Dani just told him "we're going to fight with you, and that's that!"
Danny sighed.
"Fine" he said "we better get back to Amity Park."
They flew off.
But it was lucky for them that they flew off when they did.
Because a portal that led to the ghost zone was right there in Disneyland. Near the ride that Dani herself had just gotten off of.
As the park was closing, within the Haunted Mansion, Madam Liona's orb began to crack. As it did, the green essence within it spread across the ride. Through the green mist, had anyone been around, they would have seen 3 sets of dark Green eyes, and one set of Red ones.
"Disneyland" Skulker said, as they saw their surroundings.
"Ugh…" Spectra said, disgusted "it may be empty, but the happy essence is already causing me to get wrinkles."
"Empty? PHOO!" Desiree said "I could have granted a young child's wish every five minutes!"
"SILENCE FOOLS!" Dark Danny said, as he stepped out of the ride.
He sniffed the air.
"They were here." he said "I know."
"Who all were here?" Skulker asked (he may not have liked working with this guy, but he was at least cooperating.)
"Daniel, Ember, and…" he sniffed the air again.
"Daniel again?" he said, confused "but with a female smell?" he got even more confused.
He didn't know about Daniel, since, in his timeline, Daniel had not been cloned. And, even though they were under his command, Skulker, Desiree, and Spectra weren't gonna tell him about Danielle (just in case they had a chance of defeating him.)
"Their smell is faint, but I will be able to find them" Dark Danny said, and then took off into the air.
"Follow me, and don't try any funny stuff!" he said to them, as he took off.
Danny, Ember, and Daniel all flew back to Amity park. No attack had happened, but they were all still prepared.
That night, the main people in charge of defense, slept in shifts. Danny stayed awake the whole time.
"Dude, you gotta get some sleep" Johnny said, as he met him in the town square around 2:30 AM.
"I'm not gonna let him hurt anyone" Danny said, as he continued on "he already screwed up HIS timeline, he's not gonna do the same to mine!"
"Dude, this guy can't be that bad!" Johnny told him
"He is you after all" he joked, trying to get Danny to stop being so serious.
"Do you want your legs broken?" Danny asked him, glaring.
Johnny glared back.
"Is that a threat, punk?" he asked. Danny may have been his best friend, but he wasn't gonna let him threaten from him.
"No, you see, in his timeline you ended up-" Danny began to explain, until a small bit of blue mist escaped his mouth.
"He's here" Danny said "go get the others."
"But the ghost shield is up" Johnny said.
Danny handed him a small device.
"My parents gave me this so I could get through." he said "now go!"
Johnny didn't need to ask any questions. He flew off to the Fenton household.
