My Note: I want to wish everyone a Merry Christmas, Happy New Year and well all around Happy Holidays.

Prompt: You Make It Feel Like Christmas by Neil Diamond

Emily really hated this time of year because she was the only one who didn't have someone to spend Christmas with. She knew that she could spend it with her Mother but she also knew that if she did that they would just end up fighting. She just wished that she wasn't as much of a coward as she was because if she wasn't then she would get to spend Christmas the way she wanted too. She looked around her empty apartment and sighed. God she really hated Christmas.

She looked up when she heard a knock on her front door and frowned. She couldn't even begin to think who would be knocking on her door at eight O'clock in the morning on Christmas morning. She sighed as she stood up and walked to her front door. She didn't even bother looking to see who was at her door she just opened it up.

"What are you doing here?" Emily asked.

Aaron smiled and said "Well Jack and I wanted to spend Christmas with you. I'm sorry if we're bugging you."

Emily smiled and shook her head and moved back to open up her door all the way so that the two Hotchner men could come in. "You're not bugging me at all Aaron. You know that you and Jack are welcomed here anytime you want to come over."

Aaron smiled at Emily and as soon as she shut her door he leaned towards her and kissed her cheek. "Merry Christmas Emily."

Emily smiled and without even thinking about what she was doing she lifted her hand to her cheek. "Merry Christmas Aaron. Merry Christmas Jack."

The little boy looked up at Emily and smiled. "Merry Christmas Emily. Are you happy to see Daddy and I?"

Emily chuckled at the little boy and bent down to his level and pulled him in for a hug. "I'm very happy to see you Jack. I was just sitting here feeling sorry for myself."

Aaron looked at Emily and said "Why were you feeling sorry for yourself Emily?"

Emily smiled and just shook her head. "Don't worry about it Aaron. I was just feeling sorry for myself because you all have families to be with at Christmas while I don't have anyone."

Aaron shook his head and pulled Emily to him while Jack ran off to go play. "Emily you have me. You have always had me. I love you Emily and that is why I wanted to come see you first thing this morning. You make it feel like Christmas Emily and that is what Jack and I both want and need."

Emily's heart sped up and she smiled at Aaron before leaning in to kiss him lightly. "I love you too Aaron. I didn't like Christmas because it didn't feel like Christmas but Aaron you make it feel like Christmas again."

Aaron smiled and leaned in and gave Emily another quick kiss before leading her into the living room so that they could watch his son play together. He couldn't remember a time when he was this happy on Christmas. He just hoped that he would always be this happy on Christmas in the years to come.
