The green field was empty accept for a couple of squirrels and stray cats.
"Are you sure this is the place?" Kankuro had on his 'skeptical voice'.
"Yes, they train here every day." Gaara growled sounding annoyed.
"He's probably hiding…heh he should be, sick bastard-"Kankuro's voice was cut off from the sounds of some blond ponytailed girl shouting something about a 'Used Tampon'.
"There he is, ready Gaara?"
Gaara nodded in response.
"Hey Pineapple-Head." Kankuro taunted.
Shikamaru's eyes widened.
"We got beef with-"
Before Kankuro could finish his sentence, Gaara's sand collided with Shikamaru's head and then the ground. Kankuro was about to unravel his puppet till…
"Gaara, wait….that's Chouji."
"What the Fuc-"
In the middle of the crater Gaara Had just made was Chouji lying face down.
"RUN! SHIKAMARU-KUN!RUN!" The blond girl screamed the top of her lungs.
Out of the corner of his eye Kankuro saw Shikamaru running as fast as possible.
"Damn, little guy can run fast huh?" Kankuro asked while turning to face Gaara.
"I have no intention of chasing after that dick, so can we go home?" Gaara asked.
"Me neither, and yeah."
The turned around and proceeded toward the gates. Kankuro wondered if he'd ever broken a girl's heart the way Shikamaru had broken Temari's, if Gaara had ever committed such a crime either.
"HEY!" A loud voice called out behind them. Kankuro let out a heavy sigh and turned around.
The weapons master of Konoha stood before them, smiling and sweaty.
"How- how is she?" She panted.
Gaara noticed a slight blush form from under his brothers purple make-up, he smirked, and this was something he had teased him about before and now even more proof.
"She's locked herself in her room crying, why?" Gaara answered coolly.
"Just give her this; she left this last time she was here." Tenten reached into her pouch and pulled out a CD and handed it to Kankuro.
Kankuro's blushed deepened when his hand touched hers. Gaara's smirk grew.
"TENTEN, MY YOUTHFULL TEAMMATE! WE NEED TO TRAIN!" Lee shouted from afar.
"Ugh. See you guys later." She chirped before running off.
Kankuro watched her leave. Gaara put on his creepy smile.
"What?" Kankuro asked, sounding half there.
"Nothing, let's get home before she figures out where we went." Gaara grumbled.
