Just one wish
A Law of talos fan fiction by Julia Logan
Chapter one
Krissy stood near the teleporting booth; those who entered were teleported to the tournament set up by the law of talos. A breeze stirred her blood red hair as she watched a boy with blue hair and fish fins step into the booth and disappear. That was when she heard the little voice at the back of her head saying
"Stop now, you're going to get yourself killed!" she took a breath and reminded herself that she was in no danger of dying, she could not. She quickly checked to see if her black falcon, zephyr was still on her shoulder, then she stepped forward onto the teleporter thinking "what do I have to lose?"
Krissy opened her eyes; the weak sunlight was filtering down from between the two buildings she had teleported between. "Look on the bright side zephyr," she said as she poked her head out of the alley into the street," At least we teleported no where near the other competitors." She finished as Zephyr cocked his head and pointed his beak towards a cloud of smoke that was rising from between two building. It would seem that one of the competitors is having a fight as we speak. She heard a rasping male voice as zephyr used their telepathy link for communication. "I see it." Krissy mumbled as she started walking towards the fighting.
Just then, a missile came out of nowhere, missing krissy's left arm by millimeters. She whipped around to see who was attacking her only to see another missile whizzing towards her.
"Hey!" yelled Krissy, jumping out of the way as yet another missile shot past her. The person firing the missiles seemed to hear her and stopped. A couple hundred feet away was a large robot in the form of a bird. Seated in the cockpit was a girl with pink hair, next to her was a boy with a shock of bright orange hair.
