Emma and Neal walked in silence. Emma was annoyed because of all places in her world that Cora could've sent them, she picked a forrest. Even after spending a month in the Enchanted Forrest, Emma's navigation skills still needed work.
"I think we've been walking in circles," said Emma. "Do you have your phone?"
Neal looked at her questioningly, and asked, "My phone doesn't have GPS."
"But your phone can call my mom, and she is probably ten times more accurate than a GPS," retorted the blonde.
Neal handed over his phone, and watched as Emma punched in the numbers. She waited for someone to pick up. When no one did, she tried calling her father.
"Who are you calling now?" asked Neal.
Though Emma was tempted to sarcastically tell him it was her fiancee, she decided against it and said, "I was going to call David if that's alright with you."
The phone stopped ringing, and Emma was quick to answer, "Hey Dav-"
She was interrupted by an answering machine, "Hello, you've reached David Nolan. I'm not available-"
Emma hung up the phone, as leaving a message wasn't going to do them any good.
"So, I guess we're going to go back to navigating on our own." Neal said.
"I could call Ruby, but she's watching Henry. So aside from her, we're out of options," Emma said feeling defeated.
"Then back to walking in circles we go," replied a sarcastic Neal.
"Let's go left this time," Emma instructed.
Neal looked at her in confusion, and said, "Weren't we going left?"
"No we came from over there," Emma pointed to a tree, "So we were going right."
"How can you know where we came from? This forrest all looks the same!"
Emma started walking away. "I'm going this way. You can come with me or get lost on your own, it's your choice."
"Fine, I'm coming," Neal said jogging a bit to catch up to Emma.
They both knew that it didn't matter which direction they went, they were going to be lost for a while.
