Happy Father's Day
It was another lonely early morning at Tan's manor, Tan was in his room still
sleeping after finding a way to release himself from the time warp. He is awaken from the
closing of a door. He gets out of bed and leaves his room to see disturbed him.
The figure that came through the door had dark blue hair, he looked up and said, "I knew
you would be here, after Lima said you escaped I thought I look here." "What do you
want Oblio?" Asks Tan.
"Father, do you even know what today is?" Asks Oblio. Tan looked at Oblio in
confusion, it's been a long time since he was in the present, how can he know how much
time passed. After a long silence, Oblio spoke up, "It's father's day, you have been in
there for a long time." Tan was shocked that Oblio would consider coming here, after all
they been through. Oblio went to the door and opened it, he gave a signal as if telling
someone to come. After a few seconds a young girl came through the door and a woman
holding a young baby.
"Father this is my family, my wife Jaryn, my daughter Naomi, and my son
Kenneth. Happy Father's Day." "Happy Father's Day grandpa!" Naomi said cheerfully.
Tan couldn't believe, his son gave him grandchildren. "I'm going to go change, see you in
a bit."
Tan went back to his room and closed the door behind him. He leaned against it
and mumbled, " Is this reality, how many years passed?"
He changed into different clothes and left the room again.
Oblio was in the living room with his family, he was able to power-up Elliot and Naomi
is now playing with him. Tan walked in still trying to process what's going on. He looked
up to observe his new family and surprisingly smiled, he went to sit down.
"I see your happy," says Jaryn. "I actually am." Replies Tan. "Here you go
grandfather," Naomi hands him a card and he reads it. He picks up Naomi smiling,
"Thank you."
