Black
Black.
That's all they can think back
To when they hear my name.
As always, it's the same.
I'm different as can be,
It doesn't take much to see
That I am an individual.
I'm original.
There's no copies,
So let me be me.
As far as your concern,
You've got a lot to learn
Before you feel the need to judge.
I hope your opinion plans to budge.
I'm always one to rebel,
But I don't stoop to their level
By using discrimination
Against those filled with no anticipation
Of being my friend.
It's not the end.
I prefer school to home
Because there, I'm not alone.
With my
Courage and pride,
I take it in stride;
My abilities,
My enemies,
My charm,
I mean no harm.
Breaking the rules is what I live for,
But there's always something more.
Moony, Wormtail, and Prongs
Is the family of which I belong.
I have ambitions, that is true,
But it doesn't tell me what to do.
With Slytherin, I'll always hate
Those grimy, lying, cheating snakes.
Ravenclaws are know-it-alls.
It doesn't help with their downfalls.
Hufflepuffs really aren't that bad, you see,
But it is most definitely not the house for me.
Gryffindor is where I reside;
With my noble courage deep inside.
It surely outshines the rest;
Of my traits that I detest.
My family tree is no laughing matter,
I really hope it continues to tatter.
Scorched faces, from their own.
It was their fault they were disowned.
I plan to be next,
It's my biggest challenge yet.
Rebellions will come back to back
To defy the ancient and noble house of Black.
