Chapter 2
Now in another time where there existed many nations. These nations held many different kinds of people, places and many things unknown to even themselves. People here are either good or bad.
The choice was theirs alone.
But their world is more dangerous, everywhere they go. Mystery shrouds the danger of each nation, each continent. The seas are treacherous, pushing sailors to their end. Dangerous and insurmountable mountains and other obstacles stand in the way of even the most enthusiastic and adventurous people.
Despite all of this, this place is beautiful, filled with wonderous things, facinating us to no end. This place is called earth. This is where the story begins. A tale of where bonds are made. Trusts may be broken, strengthened or put to the test. Where adventure arises and death follows. And most importantly, when friendship, family and love rises above everything else.
"Sempai!" a girl yelled after another, who turned around. She had long black hair tied into a ponytail by a green ribbon. Her beautiful onyx eyes peered from underneath her haphazardly brushed bangs and fair skin glowed in the sunlight. She wore a light yellow sweater with a black bow attached at the front. She had a white plain short-sleeved shirt underneath and a green jacket with the initial 'H' embroidered on one side with a tribal tattoo of a bunny in a Ace of Clubs sign in another. Her black skirt flowed freely in the wind while she adjusted her standard school shoes and socks slightly while waiting for her friend to hurry over.
"Yes, Satashi?" She said, clutching unto her backpack. "Is Hirome-chan still pushing through with the sleepover?" Satashi Shouri asked, craning her neck downwards for she was a little taller that Hirome even if Hirome was older.
Hirome smiled and patted her head. "Yes, Satashi-chan, I'm still pushing through." she said. At that Satashi literally jumped for joy until Hirome tolde her to calm down. "Can you walk home with me?" Satashi asked, now calmed down.
Hirome just 'hn-d', smiling then started to walking. Satashi followed behind and proceeded to converse to Hirome about Miyabigouka, their school, and X-peria play, a phone that their best friend Nai Sueshijuu's brother, Omoke has.
"Hey bakas, you forgot about me." a monotonous voice called after them. The two turned around and saw Nai. She walked over to them until she face them. She was way taller than the two.
Nai wore the same thing as Hirome except she had on a red jacket with 'N' on one side and of a tribal tattoo of a wolf inside an Ace of Spades in the other. And unlike Hirome her hair was a silver boy-cut that hung around her shoulders and covered half of her face. A single red eye gleamed at the both of them.
"Hello Nai." Hirome said cheerfully. She then gestured to Satashi. "She finally got a jacket. Nai smirked as Satashi twirled around in it. Her usual messy black hair flowed around her and across her face.
Unlike the two, Satashi wore just the long-sleeved polo shirt, ribbon and black skirt, ditching the blazers ("It's waaaayyy too hot!") and standard school shoes and knee length socks. Her jacket was blue with 'S' on one side and a tribal tattoo of a tribal tattoo of a raccoon inside an Ace of Diamonds in the other.
"Like it?" Satashi asked. Hirome gave her a thumbs up. "It's awesome." she said. "Changing the subject." Nai said. "Were you allowed?" Hirome asked. Nai nodded, wordlessly. Satashi began jumping up and down all over again, this time yelling out:
"Nai-san's coming~! Nai-san's coming~!"
"Shut up." Nai said dangerously, imitating a certain European knife wielder. "Tobi's a good bo-I mean girl." Satashi murmured, scared. Laughter erupted behind Satashi as she cowered in fear in front of the tallest woman in their group. The three turned around and saw Kamiko Takahashi and Xiomara Medeusa.
Xiomara was wearing a yellow track suit for she had physical education this day and her grey jacket sticking out from her black stud-covered backpack. Kamiko was also wearing a track suit but her yellow jacket was tied around her waist.
The three looked at them. "What?" Kamiko and Xiomara asked together. "You both had PE?" Satashi asked curiously, resting her head on Kamiko's shoulder but Kamiko swatted her away. "Yeah, PE switched with math so..." Kamiko said, trailing off for everyone knew what happened after that.
"How was dodgeball?" Hirome asked bluntly.
"Terrible."
"Awesome~."
Xiomara glared at her as Hirome ushered everyone to walk for the sun was slowly setting. "It. Was. Not. Awesome." she hissed. Kamiko laughed. Xiomara pouted. She growled as she repeatedly hit Kamiko. "So mean~! Sempai!" she yelled at her. Kamiko just laughed and deflected all her punches.
"Sempai~! Are you going to the sleepover?"
"Of course I am Satashi!"
"Art is eternal."
"I-not now Nai! And no! Art is a Bang!"
"Eternal."
"Bang."
"Xiomara-chan, are you going?"
"Yes, Hirome-sempai, please take care of me."
"Me too~!"
"Same."
"Oi! Me too!"
"I'll feed all of you, don't worry."
There was a collective cheer at the promise of food. Kamiko's golden-brownish hair, which was tied into a half-ponytail, puffed up slightly as a gush of wind past. She craned her neck upwards and stared at the sky, brown eyes reflecting the uncoming full moon.
"Hmm? A full moon." Xiomara said, brushing, slightly neat, straight black hair out of face. Her gray eyes twinkled as she appreciated the beauty of the moon.
"That's a good sign, hopefully." Hirome said. Satashi nodded and hummed. "Sleepover~! Sleepover~!" Everyone laughed at the second-youngest's actions.
They all continued down the slightly noisy ways of Tokyo, Japan
