This is when they are trying to find Lyra

It had been ten years since River and the Doctor had lost their child. River was starting to lose hope that they would find her. The Doctor and her had started to fight a great deal lately. As they entered the TARDIS River went to put in coordinates for another planet as the Doctor came inside and sat down. They were both exhausted from searching for Lyra. After River put in the coordinates she went to go push some buttons to make the TARDIS start moving but the Doctor stopped her.

"River let's rest for a bit" the Doctor suggested as he grabbed her hands.

"We can't rest. Each time we rest she gets farther away from us. If we rest that shows Madame Kovarian that we are ready to give up and that she wins. I am not ready to give up yet" River explained.

"River, if we rest it does not mean that we are giving up" the Doctor told his wife.

"I do not want her to do what she did to me to Lyra. Lyra doesn't deserve that" River snarled as got her hands loose from his.

"Don't worry we will find. We have Vastra, Strax, Jenny, Amy, Rory, Craig, Mickey and Martha and Torchwood looking for her as well as us. We will find her there is no doubt about that" the Doctor tried to reassure her but she stormed off.

River stormed into the room that used to be Lyra's. When she got into the room she grabbed Lyra's favourite stuffy and held it close to her. She started to rock it back and forth as she turned on the space night light.

"Don't worry I will find you" River whispered to the stuffed animal. "Mommy is trying her hardest to find you are looking for us too" River whispered as she started to cry a bit. She remembered what it was like growing up and being trained to kill the Doctor. Madame Kovarian was horrible to her and that was the one thing that she didn't want her daughter to go through.

As River cried in their daughter's room the Doctor stood outside the door and listened in on what his wife was saying. It hurt him to think that his daughter would be getting trained to kill him. He never told river this but he had had another daughter before but she had died. The Doctor was scared that when they found Lyra they wouldn't find her they would find a grave with her name on it. He didn't want to tell River that because that make her worry even more.

It was times like this that the Doctor wished that River and him wouldn't fight as much. It always made him think if their daughter was here would they still fight so much. He actually didn't know who was looking for Lyra anymore. For all he knew Sarah Jane, Mickey and Martha could all be dead by now. There was a couple times that he had thought that Torchwood had probably given up but then Jack would send him a message saying that they hadn't found her yet.

As the Doctor leant against the wall he started to remember his past selves to see if he had met Lyra as a younger self. But he couldn't remember, all he knew was that River was going to kill someone if she didn't find Lyra. If anyone was going to be killed, she would probably kill him. The Doctor felt a hole in his hearts because he was supposed to be a dad but now he wasn't. He was supposed to have a family but that was all taken away. The Doctor knew that river felt the hole too.

"River, sweetie, are you alright?" the Doctor asked from outside the room. As soon as he had said that he was mentally kicking himself. He knew that she wasn't alright; River wasn't even close to be alright.

"Yeah, I'm fine" River sniffled. The doctor took that as an all good to enter sign. When he walked in he saw River cuddling the stuffed animal with tear stains on her cheeks. He walked over to her and sat down beside her. He then put his arms around her and gave her a huge reassuring hug.

"Don't worry River I will find her and if I don't find her then you can kill me" the Doctor whispered to her.

"Thank you sweetie" River whispered back before she gave him a light kiss on the cheek.

So I did get some requests for more so here is more. I'm not doing them in order. I had just thought of this one. Also thank you for the kind reviews.
