Rosalina walked into the living room. Peach was dancing around the tree, and Daisy was hanging more tinsel. They all looked so happy. If only Rosalina was happy too. She was still being shunned by all her friends, and she didn't know what was going to happen between them. This was definitely not the Christmas she had been wanting.

"I'm sorry that Mario kissed me" Pauline said, trying to get Peach back on the subject. "Can we just not talk about it?" Peach asked. Pauline turned away. How am I going to do this? She thought. "Sure" she said. Peach smiled. Pauline saw the genuine look of thanks on her face and she almost felt bad for her. Then she remembered how horrible Peach was. It was good she remembered that, she couldn't actually like Peach.

Peach was glad that she had a friend that was kind to her. Pauline had been nothing but nice to her since Mario had kissed her. She wanting to believe that it was all a lie, but Pauline was a good friend, and she had seen Mario kiss her. She wanted Mario to love her, but she wasn't sure that she could trust him anymore.

Daisy hung the tinsel all around the room. Luigi watched her. She's not as good as Rosalina he thought but I don't want to date the shunned girl. So he walked up to her. "Can you believe Rosie?" he asked. She glanced down at him, clearly surprised. It was probably because they never talked anymore. "Um, yeah" she said. "She was horrible" "She's not as good as you" Luigi said. "Why couldn't I see that before?" He noticed the look of happiness that washed across Daisy's face.

"Um" Daisy said as an insufficient answer to Luigi's rhetorical question. "But, now I see it" he said. "Now I see that you are the one for me" Daisy wanted to be strong. She wanted to look him in the eyes, and say "Well then you shouldn't have left me." But she couldn't. She loved Luigi, she had secretly wanted them to get back together since forever. "Oh" She said, and hugged him.

"I swear I didn't" Mario said to Rosalina. "I swear I didn't kiss her" Rosalina looked down. She believed him. Pauline was a backstabber, she knew firsthand. "Shhh, it's okay" she said. "I believe you" Mario looked up at her. "You do?" he asked. "Yes, I do" Rosalina said.

Pauline glanced out the window of the guest room at Peach's castle. There she saw Wario on the ground. Oh how she hated him! But she had to keep up the act, or else there was no chance with her and Mario.

Okay, so it's been a while, I know... but hey, it's a Christmas Story, so yeah. I hope to have this story finished by the end of Feb. If not, I won't update it until next Christmas. As Always R&R and tell me what should happen next. Okay Bai!
