Kid woke up feeling groggy and warm. Black Star still asleep under him with one arm draped around Kid's torso. He looked out the window and judged that it was a few hours before time to be ready for school. Kid moved to get up but found that his legs was entangled with Black Star's.
He moved to position himself to where he could see Black Star's face. A smile tugged slightly at the corner of his lips, Black Star's mouth was wide open and his free arm could be seen poking straight up from one side of the pillow his head was laying on.
Black Star normally ended up in weird positions during the night but Kid was actually surprised that he had stayed in the same place he fell asleep. Immediately after thinking that Black Star's legs wrapped upwards, constricting Kid's legs. He then rolled over, Kid quickly moved narrowly moving his upper body in time. He would of been crushed for sure.
"Dammit, Black Star." Kid whispered to himself. "How do you always manage to do this?"
Kid pulled his legs out from Black Star's tight grip and sighed. "You never cease to amaze me."
Black Star answered him with a loud snore causing Kid to snort.
Kid decided it was time to get up when he suddenly heard Black Star mumble something. Kid moved closer to him and listened carefully.
"Kid." Black Star mumbled his arms then moved around as if searching for him.
Kid smiled. "You idiot, if I go back to sleep now I'll never wake up in time for school."
Black Star groaned loudly. He was still deep asleep but Kid could of sworn he was fully aware of what was going on around him.
"Alright, alright." Kid laid beside Black Star and wrapped an arm around him. "Happy now?"
"Mmm." Black Star rolled over and rubbed his face into Kid's chest.
Kid rolled his eyes. "You're too clingy." He ran a hand through Black Star's hair. "But I've grown to like that."
Black Star went back to snoring and Kid soon fell back asleep as well, his face buried in blue hair. They wouldn't get up until hours later.
