He couldn't just stay home when she isn't home yet he grab his jacket and was about to leave when she walked in. He look at her with tear in his eyes she look at him and smile. Seeing her standing there she ask "Are you going out?" he quickly rush to her and hug her. She was shock at his sudden action.
He pull out of the hug and look at her he touch her face to make sure she real he took a deep breath and ask "Where were you?Why aren't you answering your phone?" she look at him seeing him with tear in his eyes. She said "Oh-I went to buy your favorite food and my hand phone the battery is dead" hearing that he yell "What?Do you know how worried I was?I called you over and over and then I called your work and they say you left 7 hours ago" she look at him.
She look at him seeing tear running down his face she said "Que Geum" he said to her "Do you know how worried I was?I thought something happen to you and you were hiding again" she put her hand on his face and gently wipe the tear on his face. She said "Why did you think that?I don't hide anymore. I am sorry for making you worried" he look at her.
He said still crying "Ajhumma" knowing the name is still stuck on her she said "I am sorry next time I will tell you where I am going so don't cry" he put his head on her shoulder. She felt bad that he's crying because he was worry she hug him as he cry happy she safe and nothing is wrong. After. Enrique and Dok Mi sat down she look at him and said "I brought your favorite noodle" he look at her she said "Eat a lot" he look at her she look up to see him.
She said sadly to hi, "I am sorry" he looked down she put her chopstick down and get up but he still looked down. She went next to him and said standing up "I said I was sorry. I didn't know you will be worry enough to cry. I went to different place trying to find idea for my book and I wanted to get you your favorite noodle" hearing that he pull her down on his lap.
She look at him he said "You worried me to death Dok Mi. I really thought something happen and your were hiding" she look at him and said "If something happen you will be the first to know I won't hide" he look at her with tear still in his eyes "Promise?" she shake her head and said "I promise" she take his finger and make a pinky promise he smiled and look at her.
He ask sweetly "You went all the way to the beach side to get me my favorite noodle?" she shake her head he said "Thank you but I would have gone with you" she smile and said "Really?Next time" he shake his head she wipe his tear that was on his face she said "I am fine so don't cry anymore" she hugged him he hugged her.
Later
Dok Mi look at Enrique watching soccer she looked at him and felt bad that he cry because of her. She was happy that he love her so much. She went and sat down next to him. He look at her and said "My team is winning" she smile and said "Really?" he shake his head seeing that he happy she smile. He look at her and move closer to her she smile remembering the time at the movie.
He put his head on her shoulder she smiled and let him. He raise his head and look at her he said "I love you" she smile hearing that she said "I love you too" with that he hug her closer.
A week later
Enrique was playing with a little girl at the café, smiling telling the little girl stories. Dok Mi look at him and smile seeing him happy knowing that he really love kids. Looking at him she know he is full of happiness. Enrique look at her and smile. At home , Dok Mi said "You liked kids a lot" hearing that he said "I love kids" she smile. He said happily " I want a really big family, lot of kids" hearing that her eyes widen she said "What?" he look at her face and know he scared her by saying that.
He look at her and said shyly "Dok Mi don't you want kids too?" she look at him. Never thinking about having kids she said "Aniyo" hearing that he stare at her with a blank facial expression he ask "What? Why?" she look at him. She look at him and said "I never thought about it also it-just" she didn't know what to say to him he look at her and said "Dok Mi" she look at him.
She shyly and ask "Do you really want a lot of kids?" he shook his head saying yes she bit her lip he smirk and said to her cutely "But one is fine too" not wanting to make her feel scared but even if it just one he was okay with it. She look at him he smile, he lean in and touch her lip. She close her eyes as he lean her on the bed. He pull out of the kiss and look at her she look at him.
He said softly "We don't need it tonight right?" meaning protection she just stare at him. She said hearing that "Enrique" he look at her. He ask "You want to?" she didn't say anything he said "Answer?" she look at him still didn't say a word he know she won't either he said "I will take that as a no right?" she innocently shook her head saying no. He look at her and said "Aniyo? Too late" she stare at him. He said "Not tonight" meaning they don't have to use anything. She just look at him he lean in and kissed her as he pull her clothes off her body.
A week later
Everyone was gather together Jin and Se-young, Wanna-be, Dong hoon and Seul Gei and of course Dok Mi and Enrique was together drinking and having a good time. Jin and Dok Mi was together she said "How is your drawing coming along?" he said "Good, I have to do a little more before I show you" she smile and said "Alright" he look at her and ask "Enrique is he mean to you?" knowing he wouldn't be mean since Enrique is full of happiness she said "Aniyo only sometime" Jin smiled.
Dong hoon and Seul Gei was drinking Dong hoon said to her "Don't drink" she look at him and said "A little" he look at her and gave in since she gave him the puppy eye he smile. Enrique was happy that everyone was together he look at everyone seeing them happy. He said seeing Jin and Se- young, wanna be and his girlfriend and Seul Gei talking "It feel like a dream, everyone is here and happy" his smiled.
Jin brought a glass of water and pills for Dok Mi since her stomach was hurting. He ask handing her the glass "Drink it" she said "Thank you" he ask worried "What wrong?Does it hurt a lot?" she shook her head saying no. He said in a cute but deep voice "Stop lying if it hurt go see a doctor, but-does Enrique know?" she stare at him.
She look at him and shook her head saying no, knowing it just like her he yell "Ya Ko Dok Mi" she look at him innocently knowing he just worry. She said "I don't want him to worried over nothing" he said in a loud voice "He's your husband" she bit her lip. She said "I am sorry" hearing that he know he yell at her without knowing it. He lower his voice and said "Just-if it hurt see a doctor before it get worse" she said quietly "Yea" he look at her.
Enrique sat down next yo his wife he look at her and ask "Why are you so quiet?" she look at him he adds "You been really quiet all night why?" she look at him. She said thinking "I talked" he stare at her and said smiling "You talked?" she shook her head. He smile and said "You didn't talk to me so it didn't count" she look at him.
She said hearing that "Why?" he said cutely "You have to talk to me" she smile and said "Okay" he smirk. That night Enrique drink a little too much, Dok Mi look at him and said taping his shoulder "Enrique wake up" his eyes open to see her he said smiling "Your pretty" she stare at him.
Knowing he's drunk she said "Why did you drink so much today?Let's go home" she stand him up. She stood him up and was struggling to get him standing since he can hardly balance his body. She said putting his seatbelt on "You're in trouble tomorrow" he just smiled.
At home Dok Mi put Enrique on the bed she said to him "This is the first time you drink so much" he said "I am drunk" hearing that she smile and said "I know you are" he reached for his shirt and said having trouble taking it off "Why isn't it coming off?" looking at him she reached and help him. He look at her as she took his shirt off from his body.
She look at him and said "Now sleep" he look at her knowing he couldn't sleep. Enrique kept Dok Mi up all night he was just all over the place doing so much things. She said "Go to sleep" but he kept on goofing around. Dok Mi look at him sleeping she said happily "How can you have so much energy?" she smile and cover him and watch as he sleep.
Next morning
Enrique wake up to find himself home he look to see Dok Mi sleeping. He rub his head innocently and ask confuse "How did I get home?" Dok Mi said still closing her eyes "You don't remember?You were drunk" he lean over her and ask"Really?" she open her eyes to see him. She said "Hmm do you know how much trouble it was to get you to sleep?You were all over the place" he look at her and said biting his lip "Really?" she shook her head.
He said "I am never drinking again. I don't remember" she smile. He lay back down on the bed and puff his face up. She look at him and lean over him she ask "Why?" he said staring into her eyes "I can't remember anything" she smile and said "That because you drank too much" he said cutely "I don't like the feeling of being so drunk so next time stop me" she said "Alright" he look at her.
She touch his face causing his eyes to stare at her. She said "Sleep" he look at her and said innocently "I can't" she ask "Why?" he look at her. She put her hand on his naked chest he look at her. He said "Dok Mi" she look at him he toss her on the bed her eyes widen. She stare at him she said "Huh" he smile and look at her he lean closer to her lip and kissed her. She closed her eyes as they were kissing while removing her clothes.
2 days later
Dok Mi was laying in bed, tossing and turning. She felt her skin hot and was burning. She had her eyes close and was shivering. Enrique look at her wondering what wrong. He put his hand on her forehead to feel her body hot he quickly ask "Why are you so hot?" he quickly went to get a wet towel. When Dok Mi woke up, Enrique place soup in front of her.
He said to her "Why are you so sick?" she look at him and was shivering seeing that he got a blanket and put it in her. He said "Eat" she look at the food and couldn't stand the smell she said moving that food away from her "It smell awful" hearing that his eyes widen. He ask "What?" she look at him with a sad face she said "I can't eat that" he said "Dok Mi" he came closer to her knowing she too sick he wrap the blanket around her more he said "Your too sick, let go to the hospital" hearing that she said "Aniyo I don't want to" he said "Dok Mi you have to" she stare at him.
She quickly get up from the chair and ran to the bathroom. Seeing that he quickly get up and run after her. Seeing her throwing up he tap her back lightly worry that she is sick and he didn't know. After He look at her and ask "Are you okay?" she look at him knowing something isn't right with her body lately she look at him and said "Huh" he said worried "Let's go to the hospital?" she look at him.
She look at him and wonder whether she is sick or maybe just maybe she's pregnant since she also missed her period. Tear form in her eyes seeing that Enrique was extremely worry he ask "Ko Dok Mi what wrong?Let's go?" she didn't answer. He said again " Ko Dok Mi" she look at him and said in a shaky voice "You-I-she stop and think for a moment.
He look at her and ask "Tell me what wrong?" he stare at her she said trying to get the word out of her mouth "I-I-he ask "You what?" she look at him. She look at him and continue "Preg-I am Preg-Pregnant" hearing that his eye widen stare at her. He look at her wondering if he heard right he ask in a low voice "What? Say it again?" she look at him.
Knowing he might be shock she bit her lip and said quietly "I am pregnant because of you" hearing that again he stare at her. She look at him not saying anything she said "Enrique why are you so quiet?" he stare at her. She look at him not knowing what to do he ask finally "Your not lying right?" she ask "How can I lie? It true" hearing that a smile form on his lip.
She looked down he quickly wrap his arms around her. Her eyes widen he said "Really? Dok Mi" he pull out of the hug to look at her. She look at him and ask "Aren't you mad?" he said quickly "How can I be mad?I am really happy" he pulled her closer to him. Tear rolled down her face he look at her and wipe it he said to her "Is that why your sick? Because your pregnant?" she shook her head.
He wipe her face and said "When did you found out?" she said "That day at the party when you got drunk" he look at her. He said "Since then and you didn't tell me" she said looking at him "I wasn't sure and-she stop talking and look at him. He was extremely happy that his wife is pregnant since he wanted a baby. She look at him and said in a low voice " I just knew I kept throwing up and I missed my per-she stopped when she realize what she going to say he look at her with an innocent eyes knowing what she was going to say he said "Really?" she just look at him.
She look at him he ask "Why didn't you tell me you were throwing up?Why? You went through it all alone" she said "I just-because of you that day-" hearing that he said "I told you I won't and you agree" she look at him and didn't know what to say, he just wrapped his arms around her happy that she is pregnant. She just hug him back.
As happy as Enrique is he hugged Dok Mi tighter. She said to him to crying "You shouldn't have listen?" meaning when she said for him to not use it. He pull out of the hug to see her with tear on her face he took a deep breath and smile as he say "Dok Mi" she cried. She said remembering he didn't ask anything she said "You didn't ask that time, you didn't ask" hearing that he look at her remembering he really didn't ask that time whether to use it or not.
Seeing her crying he wipe her face, she said to him "I am scare" hearing that he pulled her closer to him and said "Me too, even though I am really happy your pregnant I am also scare" she ask hearing that "Really?" he shook his head and said "If I am scare you must be even more, but you have me" hearing that she stare at him. She shook her head agreeing as she look at him.
Enrique look at her and felt his heart beating she look at him he said "Don't cry, your sick already" she ask "What should we do?" he smile and said sweetly "Hug me" he put his arms around her as she cried. Happy that she is pregnant.
Enrique put her in bed since she is fell asleep. Knowing the reason he smile but he didn't like that she is sick. He cover her and said looking at her "Don't be sick" he watched her sleep as he was thinking about her being pregnant.
The next day
Dok Mi wake up to see Enrique staring over her. She look at him and said in a low voice "Kae Geum" he smile and ask in a gentle voice "Are you feeling better?" she look at him and shook her head saying yes. He smile happy she is better he said to her "Since your better you have to eat" she just look at him. He look at her sweetly and said "Your pregnant"she didn't say anything knowing she is.
She said asking "So it wasn't a dream?" he look at her and said "It wasn't a dream, your really is" she stare at him. She gave him an innocent look he smile and pull her in his arms. She look at him and said "I am not ready to have a baby I don't know anything" hearing that he said to her "I know your scared, but you have me to teach you" hearing that she was happy she said "I am sorry for not knowing anything" hearing her saying sorry for that he said "Don't say sorry. I know you didn't know and it okay" she look at him.
He put his head closer to her face she ask wondering "You did it on purpose right that day?" he look at her and didn't know what to say since he kind of did do it on purpose. He just blushed seeing that she said "Enrique" he said quickly "Why?I am happy" knowing he is she couldn't help but be happy too.
Later
Enrique was smiling as he was drawing he put his pencil down and couldn't focus since he kept thinking about Dok Mi. He put his pencil down and get went to find her working. Dok Mi also couldn't focus she kept thinking about being pregnant. Wondering about what to do since she doesn't know anything.
Enrique came next to her and said quietly "Dok Mi" she turn to look at him. He said to her "You can't work right?" knowing he read her thought she said "Hmm" he smile and ask "Then let go for a walk" she look at him.
As they were walking, Enrique look at Dok Mi. They passed by a couple with a little boy playing around. Dok Mi look at how happy they seem to be. Enrique look at her looking at the couple and their daughter and smile. He said to her softly "They seem happy right?" she quickly stop looking at the couple and look at him.
She ask clueless "What?" he smile and said "That family" she look at him and after a second she said "Uh" he said to her "That will be us soon" she stop walking seeing that he stop too and look at her. She look at him and ask "Are you really happy? Or are you lying? Be honest and tell me" he look at her.
Hearing her asking that he stare at her he said in a low voice raising her head to look at him " Dok Mi look at me?" she look at him with innocent eyes. Seeing her face looking at him so sweetly he said "I am very very very happy that your pregnant. When you told me I was really happy I thought you were lying to me" she look at him. He suddenly ask in a curious voice "You aren't lying right?" she look at him and shook her head saying no she add "How could I lie?" he smile and said "How could I not be happy?I am very happy that your pregnant understand?" she shook her head happy to hear that.
He asked "You are happy right?" she look at him and didn't say anything he said not hearing her answering "Dok Mi" she look at him. He continue "It okay if you're not happy I understand. I am changing a lot of thing about you fast right? I should have been more careful, but I really am happy. I am sorry for changing you so much" hearing that she stare at him.
She felt bad that he said that she look at his sad face and said to him "Enrique" he didn't look at her she raise his head and said "When a person is talking to you, you should look at them" he stare at her. Knowing she get that from him. She said to him "Thank you" hearing that he ask in a low voice "Why?" she look at him. She said "Thank you for changing me. If it weren't for you I would have stay the same. You changed me a lot, making me go outside, showing me the world, you also made me learn to love" hearing that he look at her he said sweetly "And?" she smile.
She said "Marrying me and because of you I am pregnant" he look at her. He ask "Because of me?" she shook her head and said "Yea because of you I am happy" hearing that he look at her. She look at him he said to her "I changed you" she smile and said "Yea" he said " You changed me a lot too" she pull him closer to her seeing that his eyes widen he look at her. He ask "Are you really happy?" she look at him and said softly "I am really happy"he smiled hearing that.
Dok Mi look at him and remembering what Jin told him at the party about Enrique getting an offer to go to American to make animation game. She look at him and said "Why didn't you tell me about the offer you got to go to American?" hearing that he look at her.
Wanting to hide it from her he said curious "How did you know?" she look at him and ask "Why did you tell me?Your going to do it right?" he look at her and puff his face up. He said to her "I didn't tell you because I wasn't planning to go" hearing that she ask in a sad voice "Why?It your dream you have to go" he look at her.
He said hearing her saying that "Are you sending me away?The last time you send me away and you're doing it again" she bit her lip and said "I am not sending you away, I don't want you to let your dream pass" he know she meant good but he didn't want to go.
He look at his wife and said in a cute voice "Making animation movie is my dream that already came true of because of you. I don't want to be away from you especially for so long like last time. Since your my wife and your pregnant I have more reason to stay" she look at him. Knowing she cannot reason against him she said to him "Then promise me you will tell me if you want to go?" he look at her and know she will ask that he said "I promise, so don't send me away I don't want to go" she look at him.
He hugged her and said to her "Don't send me away just hold on to me" she shook her head saying yes. He hugged her more. Dok Mi stop him from walking he quickly look at her. She didn't say anything he look at her and hold her hand. She look at him he put her hand in his pocket and said sweetly to her "Let's go home. It really cold" she smile an shook her head agreeing.
At home
Dok Mi look at Enrique eating with food, books and I-pad was all over the floor. She just stare at him wondering how he can make so much mess she ask "Can't you pick all your stuff up?" he turn his head to look at her with food in his mouth. She just look at him speechless. She look at him and said "Never mind just eat" he look at her and swallow his food.
She left his stuff on the floor instead of picking it up he look at her she said "It no point cleaning when you're so messy" he sat up on the floor and grab the pillow and hold it in front of him. Seeing that she smile and said "Do you want some water?" knowing he eat too much junk food he shook his head shyly saying yes.
She handed him water he took it and said "Thank you" she smile and said "Continues" she was about to leave when he stop her. He look at her and said "Stay" she look at him and agree she sat lay down next to him. He smile and said to her "Dok Mi" she said "Why?" he said softly "Let's stay here for a couple of minutes" she smile and said "Alright" he smile.
They were facing each other he put his hand on her face and gently kissed her forehead. She look up at him. He smile and said "Should I tell you a story?" she agree and said "Hmm" he smile and was telling her a kids story. She smile as he was telling her the story.
Looking at him and seeing him happy she smile. She fell asleep as he was telling her story he look at her and smile and said "Sleeping?" he look at her face closely and smile as he said "Your really pretty Dok Mi" he hold her hand and kissed it. He pulled her closer to him and hug her as he close his eyes and fall asleep too.
The next day
Enrique made dinner since he was home all day by himself since Dok Mi was working. When Dok Mi arrived home Enrique rushed to the door. He smile and said "Your back" she look at him. He continue "You took forever" she smile and said "It only 5:30" he look at and innocently said "Well that long. I was all alone today" she smile and came closer to him. Knowing he hate to be alone she wrap her arms around his neck. His eyes widen she said "Sorry for taking long" he smile and said "Thank you for coming early" he rest his head on her shoulder.
Enrique look at Dok Mi looking out the window. He smile and gently came behind her and wrap his arms around her. She quietly turn startle a little she said "You scare me" he said in a low voice "Sorry" she smile as they were looking out the window. He then turned her to face him he look at his wife as he put his hand gently on her face.
She look at him he smile and said to her "Your busted" she look at him. She look at him clueless she ask "For what?" he said "Jin told me everything" she stare at him. Knowing she told Jin to encourage Enrique to do the offer he receive to make game. She bit her lip and look at him. He said to her "Didn't I told you I am not going" she look at him.
She took a second to answer she said to him "I know you told me, but I hate the fact that your giving up this opportunity because of me. Can't you do it I know you do too? How can I pretend not to know when I do?" he look at his wife. Looking at her he yell "Ya Ko Dok Mi" she said making him upset "Just go" he couldn't believe her he said upset "Do you really want me to go?Are you really sending me away?" she didn't say anything.
He ask mad "Your really-what kind of wife send their husband away like that?" she said trying not to cry "You can't miss this opportunity" looking at her he was upset. He took a deep breath "Can't you tell me don"t go? Instead of telling me to go can't you hold onto me?" she said with tear forming in her eyes "You have to-he didn't want to her hear what she want to say he said yelling "Stop talking" she look at him.
Hearing that she look at him she continue "you have to-hearing she dare say another word yell "Stop" she completely stop talking he said with tear rolling on his face "Fine if that what you want I will go" she stare at him. He was about to turn away when she said hurting "Kae-Geum" he stop but didn't turn to look at her.
She ask crying "Are you really going?" he said in a shaking voice "Hmm since you're sending me away" she said quickly "I am not sending you away. I don't want you to go, but-" she stop talking when he turn to look at her. He look at her he said looking at his wife that drive him crazy "I know your thinking about me. I know you want me to go since it my dream, but your my dream now." she look at him a tear roll down her face.
He said to her "Don't you love me?Is it easy for you to send me away like that?" hearing that she said "I love you a lot. It hard to send you away, but I have to think about you" hearing that he came more closer to her as he say "I know your thinking about me, but don't tell me to go" she shook her head saying yes.
He said wiping her tear "I love you a lot. I can't leave you again. We are marry, your my wife how can I leave? We are going to have a baby, do you know how happy I am?So how can I leave when everything I have is here?" she cried as he also did. He leaned in and kissed her. As tear roll down on both of their face. Enrique know she's only saying that for him.
Knowing she doesn't mean it. She wrapped her arms around his neck. After kissing he look at her he said to her "I was going to tell you this I don't have to go that far I can make the game right here in Korea" hearing that she ask "Really?" he shook his head. She smile happy she said "So your going to make the game right here?" he shook his head.
She smile happy, he pulled her closer to him she look at him. He said to her "I will tell you this one last time so remember. I am not going anything leaving you. I know you hate it when I am away so don't say it so easy when it hard for you." she look at him knowing he add "Hold on to me" she look at him.
She said sweetly "I am holding on to you. I hate it when your away. I also hate it when you give up your dream. How can I be selfish?" hearing that he said "How is that being selfish?We are married so it okay to say you want me to stay I want you to say that before pushing me away" she look at him. He said wiping his face that has tears "I am not pushing you away. You can't leave me, you have to stay Enrique. You can't leave me alone" hearing that he said happily "I can hear your thought again" she look at him.
He kissed her again, she just cried as he did. He pull out of the kiss and said wiping her face "Even if you send me away I am not going anywhere" she smile and hugged him he pull here closer as he hugged her. He said to her "I love you" she said to him back "Me too I love you" he smile and look at her. She said to him "You better not get mad when I tell you not to go" he said "I will be happy when you tell me that" she smile.
He pinched her cheek. She look at him she back away from him. He look at her and move closer to her but she backed away more. Seeing that he wanted to smile so bad. She couldn't move anymore she was bracing the wall. He smile and came closer to her she look at him. He ask "Why?" she said innocently "It hurt" he smiled hearing that.
He lean his face closer to her and said seeing her eyes widen "Why is your heart beating so fast?" she look at him wondering how he know. She ask "How do you know?" he smile. He said to her "I know you very well" she smile. He said to her "Say it" she ask "What?" he said "I love you say it?" she look at him and said "I did already" he look at her he said "I want to hear it again" she look at him.
Looking at him looking at her with an innocent face she said shyly "I love you" he smile. He said leaning his face closer to her "Again" she puff her face and ask "Again?" he shook his head he said "Again?" she said "I love you" he smile and said happily to hear it "Again" she look at him doing it on purpose "Enrique" he look at her.
She said cutely "I love you-I love you-I love you a lot happy?" he shook his head smiling at her he said "Since you love me so much don't let me go cause I am not letting you go either" she look at him. He said to her "I am never letting you go so don't let me go either" she smile at that.
He said "We are having a baby" she said happily "Yea we are" he said "I love you a lot Dok Mi" she smile and said "Me too" he pin her to the wall as they kissed. She push out of the kiss and look at him he smile and gently wrapped his arms around her neck and embrace her.
She smile and said "Say it again" he smile hearing that he said cutely to her "I love you" she smile and hugged him tighter.
Enrique (voice over) "We fight, we cry, we say thing we don't mean"
Dok Mi (voice over)"but at the end we are sorry and we miss each other"
Enrique (voice over) "Our life is just starting we are having our first child"
Dok Mi (voice over) "Our first child although it scary we have each other to reply on"
Enrique (voice over) "Ko Dok Mi is my entire world"
Dok Mi (voice over) "Kae Geum is my entire world"
He smile as he hugged her feeling the warmest of her body. She smile and rest her head on his shoulder feeling happy that they have each other.
