Chapter Six
The girls where both awaken by Sharpener shaking them urgently, it was strangely quiet for the underground village, no laughter of children or the chatter and conversation of the adults. Sharpener indicated for them both to remain quiet and follow him. They made their way to a maintenance shaft and their they waited in complete silence. Through the grate she saw two older teenagers walking together, the girl complaining about coming down into the sewers. She wondered if they were lost or looking for salvation from the androids and guessed that everyone was this cautious with strangers. Wearing nice clothing's, not a speck of dirty anywhere, tidy hair, well manicured nails, and both where stunning to look at. She watched almost mesmerised by the teenagers as they walked into the camp. The male turning and kicking the drum they used for bathing into the side of a tunnel with such force that it collapsed the tunnel. No normal person would be able to do that, not even her father had that much force in his kicks and he was a professional martial artist.
Someone from the colony made a shriek at the destruction of the tunnel and it was very unlucky that the person was heard by the two teenagers. Videl and Erasa both looked in horror and a group of three people were discovered and seconds later they were all dead. Erasa fainted dead away which Videl was grateful for, it was better than screaming and alerting the androids to their presence.
All she wanted to do was run in and help, it was in her instinct to help people. That's why she begged and screamed at her father to allow her to let her join the police force and used his power and influence to get herself onto the police force while she was still underage so she could help. She'd saved multiple lives in the time she'd been helping out, so much so that it was almost to the point the police force couldn't cope without her. That was another reason she wanted to go back home, so she could help people. She hoped that Saiyanman would pick up her slack, just as long as he didn't take over from her altogether. She couldn't believe she was thinking this but she was really hoping that Saiyanman would come in and save her like he always did back home, actually a part of her was expecting to see him even though she knew they were in different dimension.
She looked stoned when someone made an entrance just like Saiyanman would do, giving a speech similar to Saiyanman but not quite as flashy. But this Saiyanman wasn't wearing black skin tight suit with a loose fluoro green shirt, orange helmet and red cape. He was wearing a purple gi with a white cape and nothing on his head to hide his identity. She watched as Gohan through his cape on the ground, it leaving a small crater where it was dropped, the thing was weighted and incredibly heavy.
Mesmerised she watched as he fought, it was amazing to see close up. It was almost like watching dancing with house fast and graceful Gohan and the androids where when they fought. Graceful dancing that ended with the roof caving in, craters left all over the floor, cracked walls and splatters of blood.
She found herself more fascinate then scared, she scuttled back as the service shaft they were in started to crumble, diving over Erasa to protect her from falling debri, Sharpener doing the same to protect both herself and Erasa.
Once the dust had settled she found that the fight was already over, the androids and Gohan both gone.
"Don't worry, Gohan will be fine, he always is" Sharpener told her in a soothing voice. "Once he's clear of the androids he'll be back to make sure everyone's alright."

They now had the job of doing a head count to make sure everyone was accounted for, emergency first aid going via most critical to least critical, cremating the dead before finding anything salvageable that they could take with them to a new camp.
Videl looked at the two girls who had been learning self defence from her, they were the only two out of the dead who she knew, she knew that Erasa knew a lot more of the people then herself and would be upset when she woke up which wouldn't be too much longer since she'd started to stir a few minutes earlier.
"Sis, you alright?" Sharpener asked as the blond girl woke up.
Videl let out a sigh of relief when her best friend confirmed that she was indeed alright and like she predicted Erasa broke down into tears over the dead. Sharpener went over to comfort his sister, but it didn't go down well.
"You're not my brother, you're nothing like him. You're heartless and an emotionless, stone heated scrooge." She screamed out in frustration. "They're dead, how can you just tell me that it could've been worse. No one should've died."
"I'll deal with her" Videl told Sharpener. Pulling her best friend into a hug and letting the girl cry herself out.

Videl was still holding Erasa when Gohan finally returned. A little bruised and beat up but on the whole he was fine. Videl had tried to leave Erasa to help everyone else out but had ended up stressing Erasa to much anytime she tried to let go.
Sharpener was explaining the situation in the town and with the girls.
"It's understandable, they've only been living this life for a short time, we've been living it for years." Gohan told the blond. "If the girls want, I'll take them to Bulma's. Erasa looks like she needs it. Do you need any help here?"
"We'll be fine bro" Sharpener replied. "Just an average day. Look after the girls."

Erasa only unglued herself from Videls side once they had arrived at Capsule Corp. Leaving with Bunny Briefs for a spa visit.
"You're not going with the girls?" Gohan asked her.
"That type of thing has never really interested me" Videl replied.
"I guess that leaves the two of us then" Gohan laughed, holding his one good arm behind his head, just like Gohan back home did.
Videl gulped, releasing this was the first time she'd actually been alone with this worlds Gohan. Usually Erasa, Sharpener or Trunks where with her.
It was arkward at first, she didn't know how to talk to him normally, all she wanted to do was grill him to find out all his secrets and then go to her own dimension, grill her Gohan and find out how different the two boys really where.
"Trunks mentioned you liked martial arts. Do you want to spar?" Gohan asked her.
"Sure" Videl smiled. She hadn't had a decent spar for a while.
"Let's go find you a gi" Gohan took her through the house into a training room with different styles of fighting outfits. Most of the gi's being orange or purple, plus sever Chinese styled fighting dresses.
She picked out an orange gi that surprisingly fit before changing and following Gohan back out into the yard for what started out as a light sparing session which ended up being a full on battle. She hated loosing, but found that she was having fun being challenged by someone who far surpassed her own skills.
"That was fun" Gohan told her as he held out his hand to help her off the ground.
"It was, I've never really had anyone so challenging to fight before, most of my opponents hold back when I fight them because of who my father is and the ones who don't usually want to harm me or get to me to harm my father." She told him sadly.
"I have had people kidnap me and harm me due to who my father was." He told her with a happy but at the same time sad smile.
She found herself laughing with Gohan as they exchanged stories about their parents. Both had fathers who where a bit aloof and martial artists who seemed to put martial arts before family, both had strict overbearing mothers and both only had one parent who was still alive.
"Talking to you makes me realise how little I know about my worlds Gohan" Videl told him. "I thought he was just a mama's boy smart arse bookworm but I don't know the real him at all even though he's one of my friends. I was just obsessed with trying to find out what he was hiding from me instead of trying to get to know him. Acting like he was some type of villain. Do you think he hates me?"
"If he's anything like me he doesn't hate you. I don't hate anyone, even the androids. I hate what they do but a part of me always hopes that they will see what they are doing is wrong and try to change their ways."
"You're a good person Gohan."
"As are you. You've had a rough day, you should get some sleep."
Videl had to agree, she was tired. Gohan walked her to the room she was to share with Erasa and she found her best friend already asleep. She hoped that Erasa had a relaxing afternoon with Bunny and that neither of them would have nightmares of the horrifying events they had seen that day.
Authors Note: Sorry for the delay and the short chapter, I changed something and ended up giving myself writers block on where I was going. Hopefully will be back to weekly updates but can't promise anything. Thankyou for the reviews :)
