Chapter 7: Rude Awakening
The family flooed back to Potter Manor.
"I'll get dinner started," said Alex as he headed to the kitchen. Luna followed him knowing anytime her brother cooks dinner, something catches on fire.
" While the kids try not to burn down the manor, how about a drink before dinner?" Severus asks as he grips Harry's hand. Harry answers him with a smile. He sits on the couch and watches as Severus fixes them a brandy.
"I still can't believe it."
"Well believe it, Harry. This is our life." Severus walks over and hands him his drinks. He sits next to Harry enjoying the happiness on Harry's face.
Harry takes a sip of his drink and grabs Severus' hand.
"I don't want to go back." Severus gently grips it.
"Just think about what awaits you here. Old friends that have become your family. Children that adore you. And a husband that loves you unconditionally and can't bear to be without you."
A tear escaped Harry's eye as he closed his eyes. Before he could respond, he gasp. He felt as if someone or something was standing on his chest.
"Harry! What is it?" Severus cried as Harry feel to his knees holding his chest. He heard his kids yell his name but he couldn't respond. Soon their voices became distant as everything went dark.

...arry? Harry, my boy. Can you hear me?
Harry slowly opened his eyes and saw Dumbledore's worried eyes. Ron and Hermione behind him. While Hermione looked worried. Ron's expression was completely different. He looked disappointed.
As Harry sat up, Hermione rushed over to hug him. As he hugged Hermione, Harry held her close. He knew that was something going on with his friend, but what? He couldn't remember.
"Harry! We were so worried. Don't be mad at Ron! He had no idea what the spell could do." Harry hugged her tighter.
As Hermione let go, Harry settled into the pillows. "I had such a weird dream, Hermione. I woke up in the future. And I was married to Snape! Snape of all people!"
Hermione's eyes widen.
"I think you hit your head, mate," Ron said as he walked closer to the bed.
"I think I did. And you want to know the weirdest part? We had children! Children! One was name Luna or Rose. I don't remember."
"That's not something you probably would want to remember," laughed Ron.
As the trio laughed at the dream, Dumbledore face went pale.
"Children, would you please excuse us? I have to talk to Mr. Potter alone."
With a last hug from Hermione and a pat on the shoulder from Ron, Harry was alone with the Headmaster.
"Professor?"
Dumbledore sighed as he sat on the edge of Harry's bed.
"Harry, what Ronald Weasley did was not an accident."
Harry shook his head in confusion. "Sir?"
"The spell he used was suppose to have killed you... eventually. It was to put you in a coma and slowly, your body would fight against itself. . No spell or potion would've been able to reverse it."
"But sir -"
"I'm sorry, Harry. But your dream was not a dream." He pulled out his wand and pointed it at Harry. Harry tried to scoot back from Dumbledore as far as he could but to no avail.
"You deserve happiness, my boy. I'm not going to let that change."
Before Harry could otter a word, Dumbledore cast the spell.
Obliviate!

The writing bug decided to take a bite so here it is! I'm pretty sure this chapter went too fast, but if I didn't get it out now, this story would have stayed a WIP. Although I have yet to have a name for the spell Ron used, I do have the history of the spell in my head. If I write anymore stories, I'm sure it will be told.
