DISCLAIMER: I DO NOT OWN THE TEENAGE MUTANT NINJA TURTLES OR DISNEY'S ANIMATED FILM FROZEN OR THEIR SONG "LET IT GO"
It was a dark gloomy night filled with gray skies and droplets of rain water. The four ninja turtle brothers were sparing in the dojo for evening practice. Mikey, the nun-chuck wielder, had not let his overprotective brothers known that he had been in a fight the previous night on the way back from picking up their dinner. Serious injuries had been received but the youngest was too stubborn to let his brothers worry and fuss over him for no reason. After all, it was only a few sprained limbs and bruised ribs… he thinks.
He was hoping that turtle luck would finally prove itself today and practice would be light. Boy was he ever wrong. Michelangelo was paired up to fight his older brother Raphael when the said brother kicked the youngest turtle's sprained ankle.
Michelangelo let out a cry as he lost all concentration and slammed into the floor.
"Mikey! What happened?!" Raph yelled in fear as he ran to his brother's aid.
Mikey struggled with words for a moment, willing his food to stay inside his stomach as the pain passed throughout his entire mutated body.
"I'm okay, Raph…don't worry bout' it…" Came the strangled response.
Raph, becoming worried by the second, let his anger show as usual.
"What were you thinking! You could have easily dodged me Mikey! Stop being so careless all the time!" Raph yelled out.
By this time Leo and Don had come over to see what the fuss had been about. Don was trying to pry Mikey's hand away from his body to take a better look.
As Raph watched his youngest brother wince in pain, he grumbled out his frustrations and headed for the door.
Luckily his brothers knew the hothead by now, and knew he was only extremely worried.
Raph: The moon glows white on the streets tonight
Not a ninja to be seen
A city of isolation,
Because I acted mean.
My anger's howling like a raging wolf inside
Shoulda kept it in, but I didn't try.
Don't let them in, don't let them see
Be the bad guy you always have to be
Be real, can't heal, don't let them know
But they've always known
Mikey, after getting over the pain, had started to run after his older brother before Leo caught his arm.
Leo: Let him go, let him go
Don't hold him back anymore
Let him go, let him go
Let him walk right out our door
And if you care
What he's going to do
Let his storm rage on,
The rain never bothered him anyway
Don: It's funny how when your hurt
He always gets so mad
And the fears that he won't show us
Will get him in the end
Raph: It's time to run to clear my head
Delete the memories full of dread
No right, no wrong, no rules for me
I'm free
Let me go, let me go
I am one with the wind and city
Let me go, let me go
You can take all my pity
Mikey looked at his two remaining brothers insisting he was fine.
Mikey: But here I am
And I'm okay
Let's bring Raph back…
Raph: My anger travels through the air and I don't care
My mind is full of worry every time, everywhere
And one thought makes me lose my freaking mind
But I have to go and see
And check on you Mikey
Again with no avail, Leo and Don keep Mikey from leaving their sewer, after all they did catch on to his other unspoken injuries and were determined to interrogate him.
Mikey: Let me go, let me go
I need to see he's fine
Let me go, let me go
I'm running out of time
Half an hour later, Raph comes back through their lair's door, eyes searching for Michelangelo.
Raph: But here I am
I am back for you
My anger is gone
Could never leave you for long anyways
The sai wielder almost knocked his other two brothers over in trying to reach the youngest. He apologized for his temper as checked on Mikey for his injury. Mikey, being the loving kind turtle he is told Raph there was nothing to apologize for. Mikey, also hadn't known that he was in for an hour lecture from the eldest.
The End.
Just a fun little Disney song themed based story about Raph being mad at seeing his little brother in pain and how he handled the situation. Hope you liked it!
