The next day the team was sitting around in the lounge with sad looks on all of them. Wally wasn't in the mood to eat. Artemis didn't feel like teasing him. Kaldur couldn't read. Megan was too sad to cook anything. Conner didn't want to beat anything up. Zatanna just had her knees to her chest and Raquel wanted to just sit in a bubble isolated from everything.
"Team I have a mission for all of you" Batman informed walking in.
"Batman could we just take the day off" Kaldur suggested.
Batman walked away leaving the teens.
"I hate this feeling of helplessness" Artemis admitted.
"Me too" Wally agreed.
They all were about to go back to silence when a note floated onto a table in front of them.
"If you want answers meet us at the harbor port" Kaldur read.
"Who do you think it's from?" Megan asked.
"There's only one way to find out" Wally said.
They all suited up and left getting on the ship. Reaching the port they saw it empty.
"This better not be a trick" Conner spat.
"Why would we trick you?" Blackfire's voice was heard.
"So you all sent it" Zatanna looked at each of the Outlaws.
"What answers did you mean?" Raquel asked.
"We'll tell you about the first team of the league" Arsenal informed.
"Take a seat" Power Girl instructed as the Outlaws all sat on crates.
"Okay now tell us" Kaldur ordered.
"Fine, they were a lot like us you could say" Red Hood informed.
"Each one of them were a lot like us" Troia said. "Wonder Girl and I were much a like"
"Same with me and Speedy" Arsenal sighed.
"You really had nothing to do with their deaths" Artemis said shocked.
"They had nothing to do with it, but we did" a voice was heard from behind.
"Red" Power Girl looked at their leader worried.
"What's wrong?" Wally asked confused.
"You children should learn to know where you stand in this world" a female voice laughed.
"Super Woman" Troia stated.
"Super Woman?" Conner asked.
"So you have returned" Red Hood said as a group of adults stepped forward.
"You think we'd let you get in our way again" Ultraman spat.
"We're not going to let you hurt them" Power Girl confirmed.
"Wait who are these guys?" Zatanna asked.
"We're the Crime Syndicate" Owlman informed.
"Wait you're the ones that come from the same place as the Outlaws" Megan realized.
"We created them" Super Woman smiled.
"Go back to your own dimension" Batman ordered as he and the League showed up.
"You are so predictable" Archer laughed.
"We have warned you about coming here" Superman stated.
The Young Justice team moved away slowly to be behind the League. The Outlaws just looked at the Crime Syndicate not moving.
"We want our kids back" Ultraman informed.
"They're not your kids" Wonder Woman yelled.
'What's going on?' Artemis asked through the mind link.
'It would seem that the League won't let them have the Outlaws' Kaldur explained.
"Ultraman we aren't going to go any where with you" Red Hood informed.
Ultraman turned to Owlman who nodded. Ultraman flew right at Red Hood to have him dodged and go into a building.
"Here's a tip learn something new" Power Girl taunted.
"You girl are going down" Power Ring said.
He threw a blast at the Outlaws for Blackfire to counter. She flew up throwing her own blast at him which hit making him stumble back.
"I've had enough of this" Archer said and ran at Arsenal.
"Here you go" Arsenal spat firing an arrow.
Nightwing and Red Hood went after Owlman who blocked their attacks easily. They both were pushed back, but regained their footing.
"You two need to do better" Owlman stated.
Power Girl fought Ultraman. She was thrown into a building, but got back her senses to avoid a punch.
"You have gotten better" Ultraman smiled.
"I'll show you how much better I've gotten" she spat before flying at him.
Troia fought Super Woman. She was swung by her hair and went right into the ground.
"Stay down girly" Super Woman taunted.
"Not happening" Troia spat and pushed her right into the ground.
The Young Justice team watched as the Outlaws all fought the Crime Syndicate. The Outlaws were not handling well against their opponents.
"We need to help them" Kaldur informed.
"No, they know what they're doing" Batman assured.
"It looks to us they're getting their butts kicked hard" Artemis said.
"They can handle it, don't worry" Green Arrow placed a hand on her shoulder.
"We can't let them lose" Conner exclaimed.
Power Girl was thrown into Troia and the two were tossed into the ground hard. Blackfire joined them as Power Ring blasted her. Arsenal rolled over and collapsed to one knee. Nightwing and Red Hood joined them and they all watched as the Crime Syndicate walked towards them.
"That's enough" Superman shouted.
"They're our kids now" Ultraman reminded.
"No they're not" Batman corrected. "They are our original proteges"
"What?" the Young Justice team all shouted.
