8. Criminal

The December 8th prompt, as assigned by cjnwriter:

A cold blooded criminal kidnaps an Irregular.

Face taught, pale, speaking at unnatural speeds

"Mr. Holmes, please, we need help,"

Disheveled, clothing recently torn, fresh stains

"It's Johnny,"

Scenario: illness, no, wrong, face,

"He's disappeared. There was a man…"

Kidnapping, children defending, unsuccessful

"He's gone, we tried to stop him but he got away."

"Where?"

Signs of a scuffle, attempt to cover it up, accomplice

Confusion, droplets of red on the stones

"They went off that way."

Fits, trail leads down that street, dark alley, of course

Aren't nearby anymore, men in a hurry

Caught the scent

Sounds of crying from the house

Slap and a growl for silence

Alone in the street, waiting for the moment

Strike the bastard on the head

Crying, hands bound, unhurt

Taking back to Baker Street

Final kick to the man
