Months passed by slowly as the couple tried to create a new life. Centipede had told James that he could be a big brother and got the young boy so excited. As time went on however Spiders excitement dwindled into worries.
It had been months and nothing was happening. What if something was wrong she couldn't have children. Those thoughts and more pleagued her mind as time went on.
It was nearing the holidays and the couple decided to take a break from their attempts and wait until new years came. Though Miss Spider was unsure about continuing she didn't dare tell her husband.
As they prepaired with their friends for the Christmas season Miss spider began to fall ill. She spent most free time, between decorating and getting ready, laying on the edge of the bed or couch gripping a barf bucket and refused to eat much at all. Mostly bread or rice if she did eat.
James would sit by her side from time to time telling her stories and putting on puppet shows trying to keep her focus on other things.
After about 3 weeks Centipede decided that it was time for her to see a doctor about her illness. He worried about her and was unsure if it could be something serious but didn't want to take any chances.
"I'm not going to the doctors!" She yelled as her husband tried to get her off the couch.
"Yes you are." He said sternly crossing his arms. "Your appointment is in an hour. You have time to take a shower and eat something." He said as she growled at her. He shook his head though and pulled her up. "Go get ready." He told her.
She glared at him in a scary manner before huffing and going to the bathroom. She took her time getting ready though. She didn't care if she was late or not. Once she was out and dressed she saw Lady bug waiting for her at the door. She groaned. "I can't even take myself?" She shot a look at her husband.
He shook his head at his wife. "Nope. I don't trust you. Now get a move on before your late." He said kissing her cheek and sending her on her way out the door.
The boys watched as she left and with the help of grasshopper continued to work on their Christmas decor to surprise her when she returned home.
