Tada! New chapterio! Again, super surprised that I managed to write this now. So let us all enjoy this action packed, poor grammar story!

A Reason to Hate Cities

Aw shit my head! Okay ow, my ribs! Oh great now my legs and arms hurt, why.

"Babe, don't move so quickly, you got the worst of it." Luna's voice soothed my aching ears that are still ringing. Her soft hands helped me up to a sitting position, my back against some cold metal. I blinked several times before I saw the situation: it was dark save for some light that came through cracks and bars at the roof, there are no chairs, tables, nothing but all the girls and a wounded Brumby from the RV.

Kai was ramming their fists against the metal doors, shouting. "You mean to tell me that all girls can't fight! That you can't even bother to have a separate room for gender neutral people?!"

"Kai! Shut the fuck up," I shouted back. "This is the Zombie apocalypse, they don't give a shit about your morals!"

"Hey! Don't curse!" Dwi shouted from the corner, honey now's not the time. Kai gave up, stomping away and collapsing on the cold floor. "So where are the boys?" I questioned, trying to put the pieces together on what happened.

Kai answered. "After these assholes rammed in us with a truck, they took us to this really secured area surrounded by a shit ton of guards. They put us in here and dragged the boys away to someplace else." Oh fun, we go captured by maniacs who separated us! And they wonder why I hate cities!

We all sat in silence, listening and praying that they were at last as safe as us. We worked together to get Brumby well, his front left paw was wounded from some glass, but if didn't look too bad. The thumping we did hear were of patrols going past our cells, the couple times they did stop was to give us food. Though when the sun was beating down from the cells, there was a terrible grinding noise, like the opening of a gate. There was cheering as the gate opened, chanting and other shit going on. I looked up, it seems to be close, but how close? I looked around the cracks, Most wide enough for sun the get through, but others that are barely wide enough to be seen.

"What's going on up there?" Lily asked, staring up at the bars.

I smiled, standing and finding a route. "Let's find out." I smirked before running forward, leaping and attaching my hands in the cracks. I heaved myself up and shuffled along the wall as Luna was freaking out because of my injuries. I kept climbing though, up and up through the cracks that weaved up the wall. After many close calls, I reached the bars and attached myself to the rusted steel. I heaved myself up and swung around through the many years of finally paid off gymnastic lessons. I blinked at the bright light and looked around, our cell looking over a stone quarry. The guards Kai was talking about were surrounding this huge area of the city, completely blocked off, damn these guys have it good! Then over the quarry was a whole crowd of men and women, cheering and shouting as some figures were shoved into the bottom of the quarry. Holy shit it's the guys! They were shoved out, like gladiator, and they were given their weapons, surprising. The other guys ran back, closing the gate and leaving them in the middle of the arena. Suddenly the other gates opened, and I found out where all the zombies from the city are... All the undead crawled out, gurgling louder than the people cheering. I saw them get their weapons ready, but it wouldn't be much help, this is a fucking death trap! I looked down the bars, seeing the girls look up anxiously at me.

"We need to get the fuck outta here!" I shouted and they went into action, forming a plan. I turned back to the men who were currently staying in a group and fighting off the undead. Luckily I was behind the arena, so the guards couldn't see me, but Legolas could see me with his badass elven eyes. I waved my arms, I would wave my knife but they took that! Legolas could still see me though, smiling and nodding to me. He informed the others in the midst of their fighting, they all had a chance to look up at me and smile, hope sparking. I heard shouting and screaming and barking from below now, the walls getting banged on which vibrated my ass. I turned and leaned down, only to see the girls and Brumby, alone, making a ruckus. Well that's one way to get them to open the door, which they did. Some dumbass opened the door to shout at them, but Lily was by the door and kneed the guy in the balls. He screamed and collapsed to the ground, she then proceeded to beat the shit out of him until he went unconscious. They all got their shit ready, waiting for me to climb down, but I turned back to the guys. They were charging towards one of the gates, Ari had a plan forming and it looks like it was just now getting done... with a fucking bang! Gandalf crashed his staff to the ground, the gate crashing open. They ran inside, cueing me to twirl it back down the bars and move back down. Unfortunately, getting down isn't as easy as going up, more slips and close calls, but I got down eventually. I ran with the others, out of the door and down the hallway where there was a shitload of commotion. I got ahead of the group, stopping them at a corner and holding my hand up.

"Stay quiet, until we have our weapons, we're kind of useless." I whispered, and they nodded, now following me as I checked just about every room for our shit. I finally found it by what looked like a storage room, food and weapons were mixed together on shelves and what not. We all dug around, finding our weapons in a crate, and stuffing as much food as we could in our pockets. We went to leave, I crouched down again and the others followed, and we were ready to leave when we heard more men screaming and bullets sounding. I stopped, waiting for it to go quiet, but Lily didn't like that.

Lily sprinted forward, bursting out the door and gave a battle cry. Oh goddammit Lily, well now we're all battle crying outta this bitch. We all ran out, screaming and crashing into dudes as we forced our way out of here. We quickly found the boys, fighting off both the undead and loaded men. Brumby was focusing mainly on the undead, he didn't really like attacking people, just hug them.

"Aragorn!" I shouted to the first one I saw, his sword flailing everywhere, yet it was organized flailing.

He turned, smiling and shouting. "This way! Keep close!" We fought our way to him, I gave him a small hug, so did Brumby, before going back into the fray. We slashed and shot our way through everyone, keeping close as we found our exit. The days light blinded us again, but we didn't have time to adjust, zombies started to surround us and we had to find our way out of the city. We ran through blocks and blocks of the deserted city, the quietness of a city is unsettling, just like it's not right. The quiet didn't last, zombies moaned and gurgles behind us, and the men kept shooting them. I didn't know where I was going, I was just running, but the others just kept following me like I knew what I was doing! I soon found the railroad tracks again, and I also saw a huge eighteen wheeler with the RV flipped on its side. I ran to the RV, jumping through the window as everyone else strongly advised me not to.

I landed hard on the glass, my hands stinging, but I had only one thing on my mind, the CD. I scrambled to the console and smashed the open button, but it only works if the damn car is on! My hand reached for the ignition and twisted, but I felt a hand on my shoulder and it tried to drag me away. I shoved the hand off, not knowing who it was and turned the key again, still not working! I heard the zombies and gun shots get louder, but I tried one last time, and the third times a charm! The engine revved to life one last time and I pressed the CD button, the disk popping out and I grabbed it. After killing a zombie that decided to crawl through the driver window I escaped, Boromir in with me and helped me up. We helped him and ran again, to the edge of the city where we saw a forest, but there was another problem. The zombie hoard surrounded us, thousands of them just slugging toward us and closing us in.

"What do we do!" Frodo screamed frantically, going closer to Gandalf who held his shoulder tight. Okay, you TV shows better not have fucked us! I turned and stabbed the closest zombie, it fell to the ground and I gutted it open with my knife. My hands dug into the intestines, dragging out zone organs I smeared it over my self before handing it to Aragorn.

"Cover yourself! Front, back, head, and toes! But don't get any I'm your mouth!" At that he obeyed, quickly slobbering himself in guts and handing it off to the next person. We killed more and got more filthy, I helped Brumby get his on and found some rope to get a leash on. Luna helped me with my backs and I helped her, and soon everyone, including pretty boy Legolas, was all grossed up. "Stay close, walk slow, and do not make any noises!" I hissed my warnings and they nodded, then we walked towards the hoard, entering the infinite moans.

Most faked limps, Brumby didn't need to and neither did I, damn crashes! We all stayed close, but the zombies kept bumping and wedging themselves between us. I soon lost the hobbits and Gimli and Lily, but I didn't have time to search, I only kept my eye on the forest ahead. After what seemed like hours, Brumby and I got through the hoard and at the edge of the forest. I looked back, waiting and praying for others to emerge from the wall of dead. Legolas and Kai emerged next, Luna and Mark soon behind them. We all embraced and sighed in relief, them now joining me in our silent vigil. Aragorn came with Gimli some ways to the left, we managed to get their attention without too much noise and they joined us, the elf and dwarf believing it not, didn't hug. Boromir came next with Merry and Pippin right by his side, and we saw the grey pointy hat inch closer to is before the wizard was revealed with the last two hobbits by his side.

"Where's Ari and Dwi?" Luna whispered, looking around for the two small siblings. I searched through the hoard, looking for any sign of them, but there was nothing.

Suddenly we heard a scream, and small, child scream. It was followed by a scream for agony, one that belonged to Ari.

"Ari!" I shouted and ran forward, seeing one zombie not moving, kneeling. I ran to the zombie and saw the source of the screams: Ari was struggling with a zombie that was chewing down on his left arm, Dwi was screaming her head off and crying. I quickly killed the zombie, Ari's arm free, but chewed up and dark crimson. He was out of breath, weak, and the arm wasn't helping. I turned my back to him, kneeling down and allowing him to plop himself on my. I wrapped his legs around my waist and arms over my shoulders before sprinting back to the others. When I approached them, their anxious eyes turned dark and depressed. I kept running, past them and into the woods where they followed me. As soon as I found a relatively, clear spot I laid Ari down and got out a bandana. I tied it tightly right above the elbow, the bite on his forearm. When I heard the others burst through the clearing I called out. "Gimli! I need one of your clean axes!" The dwarf turned and got out one of his smaller, shiny clean ones.

He went to give the me axe, but Aragorn stopped him sayings. "You won't have the strength." On don't give me that shit now!

"Then someone use the axe and cut is damn arm off! We're running out of time!" Aragorn blinked, tears were rolling down my cheek but I didn't care.

Suddenly Aragorn's face went hard, and suddenly he was taking control. "Lie him on his back! Boromir, hold down his feet, Legolas keep his shoulders down! I'll keep down his arm, Gimli, right above the elbow! Flame, you're going to help me clean the wound!" The men went into action, helping me get the screaming Ari on the forest floor and pry him down. Dwi went to comfort his brother, but I know she won't want to see this.

"Luna! Get Dwi!" I shouted the command and she replied, running forward and stopping Dwi, turning her and giving her a tight hug. We were all ready, Gimli raised his axe and eyed his spot. He smashed the axe down, knees bending and the axe clearing through the weak arm. Ari screamed, shaking violently under our hands, but he relaxed and passed out from the pain. Aragorn talked me through the steps, handing him supplies and all as he covered the wound. Everyone else began to kinda settle down, Sam got a fire ready as everyone else began to unpack their belongings. Brumby did his runs, checking on everyone and gave them reassuring kisses. He trudged to me, licking my face and laying down with me. I ruffled his face, his ears as Aragorn finished up on Ari.

"Does he have a fever?" I asked as he began to stand, his tired eyes glancing up towards me before kneeling again, hand over forehead.

"No, why?" He questioned, eyes locking with mine.

I sighed, shaking my head and mumbling. "I-it's one of the symptoms, fever, unsettling hunger, hallucinations..." I trailed off, still staring at the bitten limb that is new separated from Ari.

"Well," Aragorn gave a small smile. "He doesn't have a fever, and we'll only know if he's hungry when he wakes up." I nodded, still not moving from my position until Aragorn placed a hand on my shoulder. "You better get some sleep, it's been a long day." I suppose I should sleep, shit I'm tired. I practically curled towards Luna, snuggling up to her and quickly drifted to sleep.
