Every thing he's been through, was it for nothing?
He thinks about this question nearly everyday.
And he can't seem to come up with his own answer for it.
So he waits for an answer.
And waits.
And waits.
He wanders around aimlessly for a couple months, seeing nothing because he's seen everything.
He is a champion, a master.
He is the best of the best, he's completed the dex in less than a year and took down team rocket alone.
But he's seen it all, done it all now.
And now he's bored.
And he asks his questions to himself.
And he waits for an answer.
And he waits.
And waits.
His mother is so happy with the fame of being a heroes mother.
Oak is happy someone completed his dex.
He doesn't have a clue where his old rival ran off to.
No one but the elite four will battle him he's so strong now, and that is no longer a real challenge for him.
So he wanders.
And thinks.
And waits for the answers he doubts will ever come.
But he waits anyway.
And waits.
And waits.
At one point he decides to surf around some, something he rarely does.
He gets lost.
And for once he isn't entirely bored.
His Pokémon keeps going, and he waits to find land.
It takes a few hours, but he sees a shore line with a bit of snow.
And new Pokémon.
He's never been here, it's new to him.
He feels joy, something to do, something he hasn't ever seen before.
And no people are around to know he's the true master.
He walks a bit, trains his team for the first time in ages.
Then he finds the mountain.
Then the peak.
And at the top, the true top of the world, he can see again.
He can see the whole world.
He can see new things everyday.
It's cold, but he has a powerful fire type.
He has food, it grows naturally everywhere here.
He has healing items by the bulk.
And he's no longer bored.
He will never be bored again here, he thinks.
He can always see new things and feel new things come at him.
But not all his answer have come to him.
And he still wants a new challenge.
A true challenge.
So he waits for one.
And he waits.
And waits.
And waits.
