Chapter 21
Today's theme is: That Awkward Moment
After knowing it was a girl London couldn't help but cry in the first shoulder she could have found and that shoulder was Zack's.
Everyone was happy but somehow the happiness was gone. "Can you give us a minute guys?" Zack asked with a worried face to his friends. "Please" He beg.
The friends look at each other confuse and worried about London but they knew that London needed to be alone somehow with Zack. "Let's go guys." Cody said and Bailey point out "We will be out side of the hospital. I mean, is it me or is freezing in here?"
Minutes later of being alone with London not saying a word, she was just crying on Zack shoulder; that now it was a sleepy shoulder. "Why are you crying London? I mean...Why are you crying like this?"
She look at Zack with watery eyes. Does deep brown eyes that showed to the world the pain and emotion that she was going through right now.
"I didn't find the father Zack...My baby will actually grow without a father." She cry again. "I'm going to be an actual single mother. My baby should deserve better than this...that's a mothers wish that her baby grow up with a mom and dad happily...but I can't give that to my unborn child that in a couple of years will be asking where is her father..."
Zack listened to her and couldn't help but feel sad for her and somehow guilty. He didn't said a word, he just do what he knew it was best to do. Hug her. He hugged her tight. "Why are you even here Zack?" She asked while crying in silent. "Because your my best friend you dummy. I care about you and I will never leave you alone London even if you make me" He chuckles while saying. She sniff but then little smile to him feeling some how safe with him.
He touch her tummy and said "And besides, you will not be alone at this. Your baby will be so happy to have us and so entertain that the word father would not pass to her mind" He said trying to make her feel better. "I guess and I hope so" She said as she watched his hand touch her tummy with a gentle move. He smile to her and kiss her hand.
"Awkward moment" Maddie said as she entered to the room. "I forgot my jacket, I will leave now. You guys keep or actually hmm don't know... bye!" She said as she leave running. Zack and London look at each other holding hands and then look at each other eyes "Okay this is awkward...lets get out of here" London said with a nervous laugh.
"Good idea"
The Next day...
At Olive Garden (Restaurant)
London and her friends where talking about which name they will put to London's Baby while eating pasta.
"Larisa, Carrie, Anna" Bailey said.
"Charlotte, Tatiana, Rikki" Maya said.
"Lola, Shannon, Cleo" Maddie said.
"Rose, Amelia, Megan" Cody said.
"Bella, Angelina, Christina?" London asked.
"Elizabet, Helen, Margaret, Steffani, Emma, Hezel...? Don't know there are so many names in the world" Zack said like if his head was going to explote if they kept saying names randomly. But the girls ignore Zack completely and kept saying names with smiley faces. "Jane, Jade, Amber, Scarlet, Flower..."
"Ok wait, Flower? Really? Who said that ?" London asked while laughing. The girls all point to Cody who was really into it looking for names on the internet. Cody realize that the girls where staring at him with a face and he look up to see them. "What are you doing honey?" Bailey asked with a concerned face, but chuckling. "What else, looking for baby girl names on the internet"
"Cool let me see" London said and he hang London over his phone. London eyes turn big. "So did you find the one?" They all ask because of London reaction. "Yes!"
"Yes!? Really? Which is it?" They all asked excited to know. "Dirtyrockhole"
"what?" They all look at each other with smiley faces. "Dude where you found this website its just stupid." London asked to Cody but before he could answer he was shouted out by Maddie dumb question.
"So you actually will name your baby, Dirtyrockhole?" She asked digust and horrorise. They all look at each other and laugh about Maddie's concerned and confused face. "Of course not darling, I will never and if I did, kill me first please" London said with a serious face to Maddie and they all laughed.
That same night at noon when everyone was sleeping or on their tablets, laptops playing, doing work, or just watching videos; Zack was on the kitchen reading. Yeah he was actually reading peacefully on the kitchen. "Hard to believe" London said as she walked over to him. He jump because of the fright. He close his book and pretend a yawn. "Oh don't play sleepy head with me." She chuckles as she walks closer to him. "So...What are you reading? Uh?"
"I wasn't reading" he tries to hide the book but she catches it before he could hide it. "How to take care a child? you are actually reading this" She chuckles because of the shock but she also find it funny. "Okay, yes you caught me. But don't get me wrong, I couldn't sleep and I ran to the kitchen looking for food and then the book appears out of no where and well...yeah"
"Nice try Zack, but I don't believe you."
"Why is that?" Zack asked nervous. "Because the book was on my night stand and I never brought it to the kitchen or nether mark the page were I left reading..." She laughs and then open the book "So you are on the chapter 13, now I finally understand why it as so many marks my book" She looked at Zack with a little smile.
Zack face was totally red. "Ok, stop killing me"
"Its okay Zack, that's cute and its good to know that you have a soft side or should I said a parenting side" She said as she playfully hit him on his arm. "Well, I couldn't help it. It's really interesting and you learn a lot about babies. Now I know what to do when you are too tired to keep an eye on the baby"
"Awww, you are reading this for me to take care of my baby whenever I ask you to do it?" London asked surprised. "No, I said whenever you feel tired or need me to do it because of you know an emergency or something"
"Or a date" London clear up. "Yeah...or a date" He said. "That's my favorite chapter you know 'make your baby smile'" She said and he chuckles.
One week later at 7 of the night.
"So guys, this is Eric my boyfriend. Eric this are my friends" Maya introduce him. They all said 'hi' with smiley faces.
"Oh Maya so this is the guy that you always talking about?" London asked looking at the new guy with a face of 'wow, I'm impress'
"And you most be London the pregnant girl of the group" Eric said not realizing that in the tone he said it was kind of hurtful.
Everyone awkwardly laugh about what he just said. "Yes, I guess that's me"
"I didn't know that you had a boyfriend Maya" Zack said surprised. "Well now you know " She laughs. "Nice to meet you" Zack give a handshake to Eric "Now don't break her heart like I did" he says with a serious but at the same time playful tone.
Yeah another awkward moment came. "You are her ex?" Eric asked shocked. "Oops, I guess you didn't know" Zack laughed awkwardly.
"Yet" Maya said a little angry with Zack "I was going to tell you today baby" Maya said to Eric. "so you must be the desesperated guy, who is after a girl that he can't find or should I said the frustrated guy because you can't find a simple girl? That Maya have been talking about" Eric said acting a little bit jealous. "Yes, I guess I'm the frustrated guy" Zack look at Maya with a shocked face because of the nicknames she and he gave him.
"And no worries. I will not make the same mistake like you did" Eric clear out.
"Well, this is great at least we know that Maya have been talking about us on our backs" Maddie said with a smile trying to break the awkwardness of the situation but she didn't she make it worse. So she awkwardly smile.
"Who is hungry?" Cody entered happily to the room where the guys where; not knowing what was happening. "Me" Maya said as she took Eric by the arm and take him with her to the kitchen. Eric look back at Zack with a face of 'I'm watching you' and Zack did the same.
Cody was with his cooking outfit and he walked over to the guys and asked "Who is that guy?" Confused. Everybody laughed.
