Chapter 7

Day one, somehow he managed to survive the two wolf's he was currently living with, it was a long hard day, he had somehow managed to give them food, which was even easier cause all he had to do was throw raw meat into each room and they was happy, but at the night time he never got a single wink of sleep, both of them was howling into the night, as in a desperate tone just to try and get some action, he was afraid that if he put both of them in the same room together, they would go at each other just cause of the heat they was on and feeling.

Day two was a whole different story though, they had become getting more and more harder to handle for the Dragon slayer alone, he had to call his own Team in just to handle the two, Evergreen had gone into Lucy's room just to have some girl talk but soon ran out of the room when Lucy tried to get frisky with her. "God Damn it Laxus! You didn't say it was this bad to look after her!" He just ignored her and looked towards Freed, "so do you think your Runes can actually stop them and even the scent coming of her?"

Bixlow just laughed like he normally does, "Boss you just can't stop yourself from wanting her, if you want I can fix up her little problem?" Flicking his tongue he was soon whacked over the head by Evergreen's fan. "Shut it pervert! This is some serious shit!"

Rubbing his temples, he looked over to Freed who soon nodded, until they heard a smash coming from Kanes room, Laxus went into his room and noticed that Kane's window was smashed and he was missing "Shit! We need to find him now! God, this is why I asked for the Runes up straight away!"

On the other side of town, Mira was cleaning up the bar at the guild, apparently since she doesn't run behind the bar anymore it's gotten well dirty, but her mind kept wandering back to her favourite wolf slayer she was falling for. Luckly she was the only one at the guild at 7.30 in the morning it was rather quite. She knew that Natsu was in one of the rooms downstairs, but in a protective barrier so that he couldn't get out and do any harm with his flames. She knew that Freed and Levy was doing everything they can to find out why he was acting like such a bastard but it was still confusing either way.

Looking outside one of the windows where the sun was nice and bright, she hadn't heard anyone come in through the front door until she turned around and leaning against the side, his hair slightly messed up, only wearing a pair of jeans showing off his well built torso, was Kane, Mira couldn't help but blush, "K..kane… what are you doing here? I thought you was with Lucy and Laxus?" he stood up straight, she noticed there was a few battle scars on his chest, and began walking closer to her. Lifting a hand up and gently stroking it down her cheek, "I was but you've been on my mind for the past oh god knows how long, since I first met you. I'd like you to understand that, I like you and I like you a lot" she blushed even more placing a hand on his face. Kane's facial was rough, making him look like a mountain man. But it's what made her ever so more attractive to him.

"Are you saying.. you" He nodded and held her close, "I had to come at this time of the morning, cause it's where the guild is quite and I wanted to have a small moment with you. An no, since I've already found my soul mate, the 3 day full moon spell won't work with me. It just makes me stronger to be able to protect you. Now, what you say I take you fo-" he didn't get chance to finish his sentence as Mira kissed him, her soft lips upon his felt like a fireworks into the sky, deepening the kiss, he held her closer running a hand threw her long silver hair. Breaking the kiss slightly, he began placing butterfly kisses along her cheek bone down to her neck, trailing is tongue along a vain slightly, before giving it a slight nip, where Mira expected it to hurt, but made her a little more excited.

After a few minutes of Nibbling her neck, she felt a sudden rush of power inside her body but that soon faded once Kane let go, she looked to him and smiled, "what was that?" he just lead her to a mirror as she looked on the side of her neck, a small crescent moon was there, with wolf eye's within the curve of the moon. "What… a tattoo?" he just wrapped his arms around her, "it symbolises that we are mates. We are also connected threw emotions, I can always feel and sense when you are in pain or trouble and you can feel the same for me. I love you Mira. I wouldn't have been able to mark you if I didn't." she nodded understanding and turned around hugging him. "I'll proud to show everyone that i'm yours and you are mine. Now… how about breakfast?" he grinned a silly wolf grin. "I'd love some of your lovely food… but for a special lady just like you how about I take you to that new café down the road?" she nodded agreeing with him. He picked up a t-shirt tha was around his waist and placed it on. "Let's go, but before we go, I need your help on something too."

She nodded, "Sure what is it Kane?" "Hmm, something you love to do the most, match making! Laxus and my sister!" this caused the take-over mage to squeal in delight. "Blonde hair blue eye'd babies!" was all she said as they walked out of the guild, in which not knowing that the master had been watching the whole time. "Grandbabies!" was all he thought of. Watching them leave the guild.

Not a second after they had left, Laxus had ran in, "Oi Gramps! You seen Kane about?" Master Makarov just rubbed his beard, "Why no I haven't kiddo, I thought you was meant to be watching them?" Giving a loud grunt, "He got out." But Laxus suddenly picked up Kanes scent and then began chasing it threw town.

Back at Lucy's apartment, Freed had finished placing Runes up around Lucy's bedroom to stop her from leaving, which when they looked into the bedroom they didn't find a human girl, but a large golden wolf with chocolate brown eye's, on her left eye there was a nasty scar going down it, till it reached the upper life of the wolfs mouth. Laying curled up on the bed, Evergreen found the wolf to be so cute. Where she managed to actually stay by Lucy's side cuddling the wolf close to her, Bixlow had wanted to get closer, Lucy had sensed his perverted antics and stood up growling at him. Where he just rushed right out of the room scared for his life, in which Evergreen was quite thankful that the pervert was scared of something and she didn't have to bother wasting her time to try and get him to shut up. Although they didn't know why on the change reaction, but they didn't really have time to ponder on it when the door opened revealing that Erza and Gray had stopped by.

"Well good morning Miss. Erza, what brings you both over this early in the morning?" spoke Freed, As Gray had decided to make himself comfortable on the sofa, "I thought I'd come and see Lucy, same with Gray but it's unusual to see the thunder team here. Why is that?" Bixlow came out from his little corner, "Kane kind of got lose this morning so we are watching over cheerleader while Laxus is running around town looking for the girls older brother." Giving a nod understanding on why they was there, Erza went into Lucy's room, slightly shocked to see a wolf there instead of her best friend. "Lucy?" the wolf raised her head from Evergreens lap, and gave some puppy dog eye's, which made the woman melt and go over to her kneeling down petting the girls head. "What's wrong?"

Speaking telepathicly to the girl, "Laxus won't let me leave the house, and I feel ashamed for what I did at the guild last night, I swear we have no control over what happens on the full moons. Threw the day we are fine but it's when it becomes closer to night time we act like that." She lowered her head whimpering slightly. Gray began walking into the room a little but when he heard lucy growl at him he soon shot back a little, "Hey Lucy… Easy girl.. it's just me, I don't mean any harm." "then where are your clothing gray? Pervert!" he looked down to himself "Oh CRAP!"

Evergreen just laughed, "She did the same thing to Bixlow, seems our little wolf girl is slightly over protective of us women when she's like this, tell you what Lulu, how about we all go girl shopping? Freed can place some Runes on you so that when it comes to around 6 or 7pm that you will just simply fall asleep." Lucy's ears perked up, "Can we get some Meat too?" slightly looking grim at the word Meat, Evergreen hadn't told anyone but she was a vegetarian. "S..sure we can. We can make these guy's carry all our shopping bags all day! What you say? Even if I've got to put up with Erza," Erza just nodded to the girl. Jumping off the bed, Lucy glowed and transformed back into her human form, but there was only one thing slightly wrong with it.

"Lucy! Your tail!" Lucy looked to her bum, "Oh yeah, that also happens, so I can't hide it for now, this is why I normally stay home and keep people locked out on full moons, but gosh I'm too excited! Lets go shopping!" All the guy's groaned as the girls ushered them out of the house, but not before Freed had placed the Runes on Lucy.

While out going from shop to shop they had run into a slightly pissed off Laxus, looking towards his team, but the three happy women, "what exactly is going on here? I thought I told you that, Blondie wasn't allowed to leave the house?" the guy's groaned, being able to sit down with at least 20 bags. "Well… you see, the girls can be slightly perswasive when it comes to shopping, and also Lucy's puppy eye's… " Spoke Gray, being happy that he was saved for now. "That still doesn't explain- wait is that a tail?" his eye's was watching it swish from side to side, "Laxie! Look! I got you something!" slightly curious as to the happy girl he walked over to her, she handed him a box, "um… thanks, now tell me where is your brother?" she blinked a little bit, "oh we saw him with Mira about an hour ago at the arcade. They was having a little date, so we thought we'd leave them, not only that but… well I could smell that they had finally made the connection. About time too." Raising his eye brow, "what do you mean?" "You'll find out when you see Mira's neck later, you should know by what I mean as to Dragon slayers do the same thing as wolf slayers, when they have found their mates. "

Groaning, Laxus sat down on the bench pitching some of Lucy's fries, "So I've ran all over town looking for the idiot for nothing! I feel like such a fool!" Lucy sat down beside him he could feel her tail hitting his arm every now and again, "don't worry about it, you can't really stop wolfs from being with their mates, they are fully linked now, unfortunately since I've got a blood link with my idiot brother I'm the one who can feel what he's going through and trust me, it's not exactly what I want to feel at this current moment in time. Due to in the next, 3 hours.. it's going to start back up again for me."

Erza placed a hand on the girls shoulder, "don't worry about it too much Lucy, you will find your soul mate in time, as for now, I do have some important information for you but you may not want to hear about it… it's about Natsu… when you was away on your last mission he went a little crazy… and we've had to place him in a magical restriction room." This made the blonde wolf look to her older friend, "what? What do you exactly mean?" giving out a sigh Gray spoke up, "He went into attacking mode and almost hurt Lisanna, that bastards temper was getting so bad that if it wasn't for Freed here, he would have hurt her. We've been trying to think of how and why"

Lucy went into thinking mode, she knew what they was talking about, running a tongue across her scared lip, it still burned every time she thought of Natsu, "Back when we was doing the S-class exams… that's when he started to change. Remember he was hit with Zerefs magic. He didn't take the full blast but his scarf did." She stood up, her face went form excited to serious, "I need to see him, like RIGHT! Now, if he still lingers any dark magic from that time I will be able to smell it. I remember Zeref's smell." They all looked to her as if she was crazy, "Dude! Do you remember exactly what this guy did to you? He burned your favourite jacket! Punched you flying! And hu-" "I know EXACTLY! What he's done! But he's still my best friend and if he's being wrapped in darkness by this magic I want to help him out, had my back, so I'm going to have his,"

Laxus stood up placing a hand on her shoulder, "I'm not allowing you to do this alone, so I'm coming along with you, after all Gramps will kill me since I'm meant to be babysitting you" rolling her eye's a little bit she looked to him nodding, "Erza, could you drop my stuff off back at the apartment? Thanks!" she grabbed Laxus hand and began running off towards the guild.

Without hearing what the others had to say about what was going on, they stood their stunned, Lucy had just basically summed up what everyone was trying to figure out on what was happening to their favourite salamander. Dropping off the bags at Lucy's house they all rushed off to try and catch up with the wolf slayer at the guild.

Once reaching the guild, Lucy had already explained the outcome of what she thought was possessing Natsu, so Master Makarov had Gajeel and Elfman bring Natsu up from the detainment room.

When they saw him, he looked like crap, his hair wasn't spiked up anymore, his clothing was dirty, and he smelt. "Well, your finally going to let me out of that shit hole huh?" "Quiet Natsu!"spoke Master, as Lucy stood in front of him, "Well if it isn't the weak bitch!" he tried launching forward, but was stopped by Elfman. Lucy walked over to him slowly, but was hit by the smell from him, her eye's hardened, "It's him.. it's his magic." "How do we get rid of it Lu-chan?" thinking hard on what the script mage spoke of, "We have to remove the whole dark magic completely, Lucky for everyone we have two wolf mages in the guild, I just need my brothers arse here now!"

There we go! Chapter complete! Mira finally got her guy! And a new tattoo to completely it! And Now They have figured out what's wrong with Natsu! Will Lucy get her best friend back or will Zeref's magic control him further more?
