Chapter 9

Dream land

A pair of chocolate brown eye's opened, but all they saw was darkness, apart from one single lit candle at the corner of the room, a chill in the air made her skin fill up with goosebumps, and her arms ached, as she tried to move them, metal rattled, looking up, her wrists was bound to the wall above her head, "w…what? I can't move.. where am i? why … why am I chained up?" she yanked at the chains a little more but they would not budge only dug into her creamy white skin making them sore and red.

Until a door creaked open, her eye's shot forward as she saw a shadow standing there the persons mouth cracked open to a grin, "well, well looks like I caught a young wolf in my cage… I'll defiantly be having some fun with you" he began walking forward hand stretched out to stroke her cheek, but instinct took over and she bit his hand, rather hard, drawing blood into her mouth which she spat out as soon as he retracted his hand, but that was a mistake, he slapped her across the face with the bloody hand, "A Bitch that definatly needs training!" he pulled something out of his pocket, and her eye's went wide, "First we need to sort that mouth of yours and I have the perfect Muzzle!" gripping her face with one hand holding her lips out, he took the cap of the tube with his teeth and began to apply the substance to her lips as she struggled he blew at her lips as she tried to hold her breath from breathing in his foul mouth.

When he stood back she tried to open her mouth but found that she couldn't, the stubstance he placed on her lips, she looked at the tube that was laying on the ground, ' superglue!'

He reached over "Your my pet now!"

Lucy shot up from her sleep, screaming frantically feeling her lips, Mira who had been sleeping at the side of her, shot up and watched the girl claw at her own lips, "Lucy! LUCY! Calm down! It was just a dream! Just… a bad dream!" she had to grab the girls wrists and hold them down, but that seem to make it worse, "No! get away! Stay away!" but the white haired take over mage didn't let go, the door to the bedroom flung open to see Kane and Elfman there, "what's…. Lucy! Is she alright?"

That was one of the only times they had heard Kane say Lucy's name, but at the moment, trying to calm the blonde down was Mira's first priority, After a few minutes with Elfman helping, Lucy finally calmed down, the girls head facing towards the bed sheets, "Lucy… it's ok, your with your friends, it was just a bad dream. Your safe…" when Lucy's breathing was Normal, Kane steadly handed his sister a glass of water which she gladly took to calm her thoat that was now hurting from screaming so much.

"T..thanks….i..i'm sorry I worried you guys…" Mira shook her head and pushed back some of Lucy's hair from the girls eye's, she could see that them chocolate brown eye's held a lot of fear in them, "it's fine, come let's go get you a nice hot bath" she helped the girl off the bed, and walked her slowly to the bathroom afraid that Lucy's legs wouldn't support her own weight.

Kane just looked to Elfman, "whatever she was dreaming off has really shook Silver up, I've never seen her that scared in all my life… not even when our mother died.." Elfman nodded agreeing with him, not even when they was trapped on the island and fighting the black dragon of apocolypise he had never seen Lucy scared. "Let's go see if we can make something that Lucy will be able to stomach after her bath." With that the men went into the kitchen.

As that was going on, Laxus was stood in his grandfathers office at the fairy tail guild, his arms crossed waiting for gramps to say something after reading the note that had been sent to the stellar mage. After a few moment's Laxus got impatient, "Well gramps?"

Master Makarov placed down the note and looked at the tub of super glue, it looked rather old, and some of the lettering was faded, it also screamed torture to him. "There's nothing much that I can say about this at the moment Laxus, but what I can say is that Lucy most definatly needs someone around her at all times, i know she has her new team and she is very strong, infact, I'm planning on placing her as an s-class mage without going through the tests." That made Laxus looks to his gramps in shock.

"She has proved on numerous occasions that she is worthy enough my boy, and she has taken down more dark guilds than any of us in this guild put together, I think that is enough to place her as an s-class mage." Laxus couldn't help but grin, he had noticed in all the missions he had gone on with the silver star, that they have brought down 7 dark guilds. And most of them was of high ranking, which are all s-class material. "she is good for stratagies, and her strength that she hid is pretty impressive. Alright, when are you going to promote blondie?"

"When she feels up to coming to the guild next, I'll keep this note and that for now, I'm going to have an investigation in place, but I will keep you updated on my findings Laxus, now why don't you go and return back to your little girlfriends house? I've noticed your basically living there." Laxus cheeks went slightly pink and turned his back, "tch, jealous that I have more of a chance with her old timer?" "Not at all son, now get out of my office!"

With that Laxus left his grand fathers office, and went down to the bar, picking up a small box before leaving the guild as another brawl was going on. They was all oblivious to the dangers that the stellar mage was going up against.

Lucy was now sitting on the sofa, in her zodiac pajama bottoms, and a black tank top, Mira was sat behind her, drying the girls hair with a towel as Kane had tried to get her to eat, but even Mira turned it down when she saw the slime he called food. She had decided that Kane was never going to cook food again! Not while she was around. So now Elfman was stood in the kitchen wearing a pink Apron for god knows reasons making up something what he called "MAN STEW!"

The bath had calmed Lucy down to a large extent, but her lips was still red a little from when she tried to claw them, Everyone walked her to talk about it but was too afraid to ask as they didn't want her to push them away and revert back to trying to rip her own lips off. It had scared them all when they had seen her in that state, their strong leader, reduced to a fradgile teenage girl in the matter of an hour. They heard the door open and Kane saw Laxus, "Welcome home!" He grinned slightly, which got the dragon slayer thinking that something was up.

When he entered the living room, he saw the state that his favourite mage was in, "Oi Blondie! What's with the long face?" "Shut up sparky, so not in the mood right now.." her voice was raspy and cracked, he didn't like the sound of it, so he grabbed a soda from the fridge and handed it to her, "You sound terrible, drink and then maybe if you've had dinner you can have this" he held up the box, which got her nose wiggling a little, indicating she was sniffing.

Her eye's widened, "chocolate fudge cake! My favourite! Please Laxus! I want I want!" she was suddenly out of Mira's lap and trying to grab the box from him, but the blonde lightening slayer was at least 2 ft taller than her. "Sorry Blondie, Mira has she had food yet?" "Well… Kane tried.. but go look on the table and see why I refused to let her eat it." So he did, the slop that Kane had called a burger, looked more like a dead rat, but moved slightly with bubbles, "I see your point, I take it that's why Elfman's wearing a pink apron?" Mira nodded as she dragged Lucy back so she could finish the girls hair.

"But… CAKE!" "No cake till after dinner! And it has to be shared! I brought this as we are celebrating tonight"

They all looked to him curiously, after what happened earlier why would they be celebrating "Um… celebrating what?!" Asked Kane, as if he had been dared to ask, "Well it's not official until gramps announces it but blondie here has passed and is basically S-class…"

They all turned to Lucy, who's face was shocked and surprised, "w..what? but.. don't I have to pass the s-class exams?" "Apparently you already have just not known about it, so tomorrow we are going to the guild and getting your promotion so tonight we are celebrating, just think about how shocked flamebrain and ice princess are going to look when they find out that your s-class now blondie."

Lucy nodded then looked to him, " it's LUCY! AND GIVE ME THAT CAKE!" she began pouncing on him for the chocolate cake, her dreams all forgotten apart from in the minds of her friends where they had witnessed how she was.

Standing outside the guild on a brand new day, Lucy was feeling refreshed, she had put the parcel to the back of her mind as well as the memories of the dream, she had a feeling someone was just playing a sick prank on her from the guild. Although how could one know that of her past?

Shaking her head she looked up at the doors, wearing a pair of light blue boot cut jeans, and a white t-shirt, she had wanted her favourite jacket but remember Natsu burnt a hole in it weeks ago, so she had to settle with a denim blue one her whip and key's saftely attached to her belt. Feeling a hand placed on her shoulder, "Ready Silver?" they all had their tattoo's showing proudly when Laxus asked why, and mira explained, he nodded in approval.

Lucy and Kane raised their foots and kicked the door down, the whole guild turned to look at them, until something hit Lucy in the chest, "LUSHIE! YOUR BACK!" petting the the blue fuzz ball on the head with a smile, "Yeah I'm home Happy," looking around, she saw Master and Laxus stood next to each other on the balcony, "alright listen up you brats! I have an announcement to make! I would like to introduce you to our new S-Class mage! Lucy Heatfilia!"

Master's voice boomed off all the walls creating a echo as everyone was silent, until everyone began cheering! Some shouting "PARTY" although, two shocked people stood up, one shirtless and one pink haired, "WAIT WHAT! WHEN WAS THE EXAMS?" Lucy just walked to the bar and ordered a milkshake and a fish for happy, "She is a special exception, within the past 3 months a total of 30 Dark guilds are now no threat to the world! Congradulations Lucy you deserve it!" Lucy bowed her head a little bit, "thank you master, now I think someone said the words of party? First round of drinks are on me!" she raised her Milkshake and cheering began again.

Natsu rushed up to Lucy and gave her a large hug spinning her around "Awesome Luce! I am surprised but you deserve it! I told you that you was strong!" once he put her down she was laughing slightly, "thanks Natsu, tell you what, how about the next mission silver star go on, you tag along ok?" that made him grin until he noticed something Lucy paled a little.

But the only thing Lucy could hear was silent whisper into her ears, "that's it celebrate your promotion my little pet, as for you it wont be for long," she dropped her milkshake, and began looking around franticly, which made her team, Natsu and Laxus worried, but when she couldn't find anyone. "you wont find me here little wolf, oh no, you'll see me when you least expect it…."

Suddenly, the window to the guild smashed, and landing right in front of her, was a box of tools, medical tools at that, they was old and rusty. Backing up into the bar, she slid down holding her knees to her chest, "No… NO!"

There we go! New chapter of silver wolf slayer is up! Lucy is receiving more gifts and hearing voices now! What's going to happen next? Who is going to protect her? Will her brother and team find out what happened to her?
