It was a peaceful night here in Ponyville. Everyone was inside(with the exception of some pegasi)nice and warm in their beds, sleeping to restore their energy for the next day...all except for two certain Koopas who came up with an ingenious idea to finally get rid of the heroes once and for all. They were going to keep them up all night so that they wouldn't have any energy for tomorrow, making them exhausted from not having any rest, making it easy for the father-son duo to beat them up and kick them out, taking over Equestria too not long afterwards. Sounds easy right? With that, they went to their first location, the library.

At the library...

When Bowser and Bowser Jr. made it to the library, they both agreed that it would be Bowser who would try and wake up everyone inside. With that, Jr. called his Clown Car and gave Bowser a boost onto a beach that was close to a window. Bowser hopped on and carefully tiptoed his way there and winded up a loud shout. Before he could pull it off however, the branch started to break due to his heavy weight. Jr., noticing this tried to let his father know, but Bowser shushed him.

"Quiet son. I'm trying to wake up Mario." He said. Jr. just gulped and covered his eyes as he heard the branch snap and heard Bowser's yell not being used to wake up Mario, but instead used for him falling facefirst onto the ground. A giant hole could be seen where Bowser was as he was stuck in the ground, trying to get out. "Son, get the butter, get the butter, GET THE BUTTER!" A muffled Bowser yelled out in fear as Jr. went to go and get butter. As that happened, Bowser yelled out "WHY IS IT SO DARK IN HERE?!" As he waited on Jr. to return.

Later...

The two tried again with their plan but this time had Bowser sneak into the balcony he didn't know was there until a few minutea after he was pulled out of the hole. As he climbed onto the balcony, he could see Twilight and Spike sleeping in the next room together, making Bowser quietly laugh evilly before he entered the room...or tried to.

As he walked towards them, he didn't see the transparent sliding glass door separating the two from the outside world, causing Bowser to smack into it and slump down on the glass. Afterwards he got back up and tried to slide the door over, but it was locked from the inside, with no keyhole in sight on the outside. Bowser just turned his back to the door and tried hopping back into his Clown Car, but he forgot to summon it and walked off of the edge.

"Papa wait!" Jr. called out, but it was too late as Bowser walked off and once again fell into the exact same hole from last time. "OH COME ON!" He yelled out as Jr. sighed and went to get some more butter.

Afterwards...

Bowser and Bowser Jr. decided to just skip out on the library and tried another location. They were going to go to Sugar Cube Corner, but for some reason they could hear music playing above the candy shoppe and saw the silhouette of Pinkie apparently picking up an alligator by it's front claws and shaking it around. The two immediately backed up with surprised looks on their faces and quickly flew away.

So, they settled on going to Sweet Apple Acres as their next destination. But it would turn out to be a mistake, just like the rest of this plan. For starters, when they arrived, Bowser accidentally crashed into a tree, causing tons of apples to bury him in his Clown Car.

Jr. snickered at this before stopping when Bowser came atop the mountain of applea and glared at him. Next, when Bowser tried to sneak into the barn and wake everyone up, he heard the sound of a dog growling and turned around only to he met with an angry Winowna. However Bowser just laughed at her. "Am I supposed to be scared of you, Fido?" Sudden the lights came on as the two looked back to see Applejack holding some apples, and she didn't look too happy to see them.

Cue sound effect? /2P5qbcRAXVk

"You should be." She said. With that they both began running away immediately as Applejack threw the apples at them, making them hop in their Clown Cars and fly off, no matter how many apples were in Bowser's. "And don't y'all come back now, here!(or hear. Whatever floats your boat.)"

Meanwhile...

As Bowser and Bowser Jr. flew away they decided to try someone else who wasn't as deadly...and wasn't a sharpshooter with measly apples. Thus they settled to try and go after Rainbow Dash, but as Bowser tried to step on the clouds, he immediately fell through and began falling, but this time he was saved from hitting the ground by his Clown Car, and decided to stay in it this time.

As he and Jr. got close enough to Dash, they decided to ruin her sleeping habits by throwing some mechakoopas on the clouds to hopefully disturb her, but a quick storm came in and struck lightning on the robotic Koopas, causing them to latch onto the two and blow up with each bite, causing them to fall towards the ground, thankfully not making a hole this time.

Irritated with their progress, Bowser tried the next pony, Fluttershy, but as he and Jr. arrived on the cottage, they were caught in one of the many traps that Angel had laid for Mario if he ever decided to pay Shy a visit. This particular trap caught the two in a net and lifted them into the air, and swung them around in a tree, which swung them further and further thanks to their combined weight.

Eventually, they were launched off to another part of Ponyville like a slingshot, causing them to accidentally break through one of the Carasoul Boutique's windows, but surprisingly not waking up the fashion diva and her little sister.

After getting the glass off of each other, they tried to sneak into Rarity's room to roar at her and wake her up, but before that happened, Bowser unknowingly had Opal's favorite toy in his hair, and the two woke up Opal out of all people. You can guess what happened next.

As Opal saw Bowser with her toy, she attacked him and began scratching his face, leading bim outside while Jr. grabbed his paintbrush and smacked it against Bowser's face to try and get Opal off. Opal simply just hopped into Bowser's head, grabbed her toy, scratched his head again, and leaped off, flicking her tail at him and angrily meowing at him before closing the door.

Several minutes after Bowser and Jr. left, the sun could be seen in the distance, rising while Bowser freaked out. "What!? No! It can't be! How could this have happened!? I stayed up all night trying to get that plumber to stay awake so that I can finally beat him! And instead he got a good night's rest! It's not fair! It's not fair I tell you!" Bowser said as he stomped on the ground before stopping and sighing, sitting on the ground woth Bowser Jr. next to him doing the same thing.

As Bowser was trying to shake off the shock of being up all night, his eyes were bloodshot, he was tired, hungry, and just wanted some good old fashioned revenge against Mario. Thus as the sun was high into the sky and everyone came out, there Bowser stood, ready to make a final stand against Mario and his friends.

"Mario!" Bowser called out. Mario, who was busy talking to the girls about the apparent break-in at Rarity's immediately prepared for battle once he saw Bowser. "Bowser!" He called out. Bowser then stomped towards Mario as he talked.

"You...! I stayed up all night trying to get my revenge on you! It's thanks to YOU that I went through heck and back just trying to make sure that you didn't get a good night's rest, and it's because of YOU that I threw my back out! Do you know how much that hurts!? Now, prepare yourself, Mario for this is-"

Before Bowser could finish that, he immediately fell asleep on the spot, causing Mario to get out of his battle pose and walk behind Bowser, grabbing him by his tail and spinning him around, making Jr. grab onto him and hold on as well. When Mario was done spinning, he threw Bowser and Bowser Jr. far and wide, turning them into a star into the day sky.

Afterwards, he dusted his hands off while everyone else shed a tear of joy at how beautiful the sight was. But Rarity ruined the moment by saying "That's nice and all, but how is this going to help me fix my window?"

Meanwhile, Diamond Tiara and Silver Spoon had just gotten done making fun of the Cutie Mark Crusaders when they backed up and fell into the hole that Bowser made last night, causing the three fillies to high five(hoof)each other At the small victory.

Meanwhile with Bowser...

Chrysalis was still sailing through the air with her hooves crossed as Bowser and Bowser Jr. passed by her as a blur. "Hey! Watch where you're flying!" She called out, shaking her hoof at them. "Drunk flyers." She said to herself afterwards as she continued to soar.

Author's Notes

First off, I just want to say HOLY CRAP! It's been nearly a YEAR since my last chapter. I'm seriously sorry about this guys. I just got REALLY lazy and working in chapters didn't really come to my mind. I tried making chapters, but I just wasn't in the mood until now. Again, I'm really, really, REALLY sorry. Second, yay. I made a chapter. by the way, did that link I put in there work? If it did, great! I'm thinking about adding some music into my story, some that I think just fits well with the situations. Especially in the next chapter I'm working on. I may want to add music in that too, and probably in my chapters from now on. Who knows. I just need to find out if it works or not. Also, sorry if this chapter is a bit...rushed. I just felt like I was in a hurry and I didn't want to keep you guys waiting any longer. So any spelling errors in here or mistakes of any kind is my fault, and I'll probably go back and fix it later on. I'm also really tired as well. And there are no references that I can think of in this chapter as well, so there's that. Third, why did I make this story about these two characters? Well, for one I felt like Bowser himself wasn't involved enough in this story, so I decided to have and and Jr. in this one. Second, I wanted to let you guys see how it is from the villains side for once. They're always working behind the scenes, so I wanted to show you guys how it is behind the scenes. Speaking of Bowser Jr., he's been confirmed as a character in Smash 4, which at the time this chapter is being posted, is a week away! Or a week and one day if you want to get technical. Eight days left, and I can't wait! Anyways, that's about it and like I said before, I'm sorry about not making any chapters in forever. I'll try and do better in the future.
