Pepper Potts spends most of her days in an office. An office that is only a few floors away from her baby girl. Not that Alex is really a baby anymore she's almost six years old, but in Pepper's eyes she would probably always remain that cute little baby that she and Tony had made together. Despite the fact that Pepper only works a few floors away, Tony also works more than a few floors down on the lab. This causes a need for a baby sitter, and Pepper does not think she will ever find one who will stick. By this point she has been through hundreds of resumes and background checks, trying to find a person who would not try to kidnap her daughter for ransom, could put up with the weird work hours her and Tony have now that they moved back to New York City permanently, and could deal with various Avengers coming in and out. The Avengers had been Tony's first idea as babysitters, but it did not really work out for anyone…

Steve Rogers A.K.A. Captain America

When Tony had asked Steve to babysit his five year old daughter, Steve had tried to politely back his way out. He had no idea how to take care of kids and most of his own childhood memories revolved around getting himself beaten up in an alley. Something told him that this was not what Pepper wanted to happen to her daughter. Regrettably Tony had managed to guilt him into doing it and now here he was sitting on the floor across from a child who looked so much like Howard that it was kind of scary.

Tony had left him with Pepper's cell number in case of an emergency, but that was all that he had. Steve's first idea was to turn on the television to a kids channel; he believed that Alex liked Disney. This would have been a great plan, if Steve knew how to use Tony's specially designed TV. He knew that he could have asked JARVIS, but Steve did not want the parents to think he was incompetent, so he asked Alex if she wanted to play Go Fish, as he pulled a deck of cards out of his pocket. It was great, Alex won the first couple rounds, she did not talk much around him. He tried to pretend it did not bother him that she was so shy, when he knew just how loud and energetic she could be. A little bothered by her being so unlike herself, he asked what she wanted to do.

"Can we build forts and you can teach me to be a hero like you?" Alex asked in such a quiet voice that Steve almost did not hear her.

"Ye-yeah sure. That sounds great!" Steve stutters out thinking back to how he used to build forts when he would sleepover his friend Bucky's house. And without further ado the two quickly scored the entire floor of all extra sheets, pillows, and cushions and build a ginormous fort that even General Phillips would have been proud of. They then proceeded to reenact one of Captain America's iconic battles back in the war and did not realize how loud they had gotten or how far past Alex's bedtime they had been playing until Pepper showed up. Reluctantly Steve was told he would not be watching Alex alone again, as Pepper quickly got her daughter some food and put her to bed. Steve started cleaning up, ashamed that he would be so short sighted as to forget to feed the little girl he was watching, and to let Pepper catch them acting out bloody war scenes. Steve went to bed that night at least knowing that Pepper would not stay mad at him for long, and that at least Alex had had a good time.

Thor Odinson A.K.A. God of Thunder

Thor Odinson was overjoyed when one morning Pepper had shot by him late for work, trying to stuff some toast in her mouth as the babysitter she had hired yelled through the phone that she quit, leading to Pepper quickly asking him to watch Alex for the day. Alex was also happy to be watched by the thundering god, as he always called her Lady Alex, or Princess. Before he even got the chance to finish his pop tart and ask his young charge what she wanted to do Alex was already talking.

"Can I braid your hair?" Alex asked in such a cute tone that the God of Thunder had absolutely no way of saying no, and sitting on the floor in front of her was the last he remembered.

When Thor eventually came to he was dizzy and disoriented. Everything around him was such a bright color of pink, it took almost a full minute for him to sit up and recognize his surroundings. He was in Alex's room, and the little girl he was supposed to be watching was nowhere in sight, Thor quickly stumbled to his feet so he could run out of the room and find her when he tripped over excess cloth. He was wearing a long skinny blue dress. One that reminded him way to much of another dress that he had once had to wear in the Jotunheim, but that's another story (seriously Google Thor Jotunheim dress and read the myth). Bringing a hand to his spinning head, Thor tries to get his bearings, but when he pulls his hand back, it is covered in sticky purple stuff, stumbling his way to Alex's floor length mirrors, the God of Thunder finally gets a look at himself with the dress, the makeup, the single side braid. He is still standing their shock in his eyes as Alex runs back into the room, dressed to the nines as a princess herself, with a little tiara on her head.

"Now we can have the tea." She says dragging the still horror frozen god to the tiny table where she pushes him into a seat and forces a teacup into his hand. It is hours later when Pepper finally comes in and sees what is going on.

"Alex, sweetie, why don't you run to the movie room and get JARVIS to help you pick out a movie we can watch tonight." Pepper says gently to the girl who is already gone by the time she finishes. "Thor, are you okay?" Pepper asks, gently shaking the God of Thunder.

"Gone! It's all gone. All of it's gone, bye, bye. Who-hoo, see-ya." Thor says, still dressed up like a certain Disney character.

"What happened to you?" Asks Pepper horrified.

"One minute you're defending the whole galaxy and suddenly you find yourself sucking down Darjeeling with Marie Antoinette and her little sister." Thor practically cries pointing to two headless dolls, left over from when Alex was beheading Nazis with Steve, which had also been included in the tea party.

"Mommy, mommy, can we watch Frozen?" Came an excited yell from down the hall. At this moment, Pepper decided that Thor was never going to baby sit Alex again, mostly for his own good as she helped him walk back to his own floor where he almost immediately collapsed on the couch asleep. Thou Pepper did not forget to snap a picture with her phone, Tony would love the sight of the God of Thunder dressed up as Elsa.

Wow... another chapter, Did anyone get the Toy Story reference? I split this chapter into 2 parts because I figured that people would rather get two short chapters sooner instead of me taking another month or something to post one longer chapter, I also started a new fanfiction that takes place in this universe, it is called Moments in the SHIELD life and is going to be snippets of life at SHIELD and I am going to throw Alex into it every once in a while. The first chapter should go up right after this. I know I said I was sticking to the Winter Soldier plot line, but I like SHIELD too much and don't want it to fall, so that never happened in this AU.

I also wanted to say thanks to: huge sg1 fan, Smart Kira, ilovefood893, SupernaturalWhoLocked, and Mirmir1600 for favoriting and following this story and to nancyozz and the Guest for reviewing. So thanks!
