You gave your son, so that I might live. You gave you precious lamb to the butcher. You gave your everything so that I might be with you. Your love unending, you died that I could be with you.
Lord, in my private world, I'm a thief. If I did not have you, I would cuss, and do terrible things. You know in my private world the things I see, and the things I might do. But my private world is not the real world. Lord I need you.
Oh lord, why did you give your son for me? I don't deserve to have your love. I've strayed so far. I try to stay with you. I try to, but I can't find you. I can here you calling, and I want to find you. So close, yet so far.
Why did you die? You died for me. You love me, and died for me. I'm not worthy.
