Annabeth stepped into the chamber where the gods sat. "I Annabeth daughter of Athena, have the Lightning Bolt of Zeus, stolen by the thief Luke son of Hermes," she pronounced.

"Hand it to Me," Zeus commanded.

"Not yet," Annabeth replied.

"For what reason, daughter?" asked Athena.

"I want a boon of my chosing, granted by the Decree of Zeus Himself."

Silence sat among the gods, all eyes and senses watching for Zeus' reaction.

Zeus answered, "I will hear your request. I caution you, child, not to overreach yourself."

Annabeth nodded, executing a tiny bow. She knew well all the stories of those who mad poorly-worded requests of the gods. "In exchange for your Bolt, Zeus, You shall grant me a seat in this pantheon, as well as full forgiveness for a select of my friends."

The wait of deliberation was not as long as Annabeth had anticipated: "Granted, all thereof," Zeus said.

"I thank you," Annabeth said, courtseying, then threw the Bolt to Zeus who caught it easily.
