Vlad King's Green Bean

Chapter seventy-six: A new school year for a new generation

It had been twenty years.

Twenty years since the last active bulk of force Japanese hero society had been able to muster up was beaten down by the sheer numbers and overwhelming might that was brought to the table by Dabi, who went on to take over Japan as a result. And taking over the land of the rising sun had been a catalyst that ended up leading to the entire world being taken over. The twentieth anniversary of the world-spanning Dabi Regime had recently been celebrated, and looking out the window of his meeting room at UA High School, a visibly aged Nezu let out a troubled and resigned sigh.

Visibly aged, Nezu had some streaks of light gray in his fur, and said fur had lost a touch of its luster over the years. Additionally, Nezu now required a wheelchair to get around effectively, severely limiting his mobility. Nezu sighed, knowing that this year, like every year ever since Emperor Dabi became the ruler of the world, UA would be teaching a pro-Regime curriculum. There were members of the Paranormal Liberation Front on the UA payroll, every hero academy in Japan had PLF members on their respective payrolls, and they would ensure that there aren't any anti-Regime ideals taught or otherwise expressed.

Aside from how UA had to instil pro-Regime ideas and ideals into its students as they were educated, they were free (for the most part) to continue doing as they were prior to the founding of the Dabi Regime. That included the training and educating of its students, especially those either in the hero course or, as Nezu was getting ready to review with his immediate staff, would be in the hero course. The meeting would be beginning shortly, and there was only one class to discuss. But it would be a class with a LOT of legacy to it; hence why there had to be a meeting to discuss it.

The door leading into the meeting room opened, and Nezu turned to look and see who all was walking in. A total of six persons, three of which were members of the UA staff and payroll placed there by the Dabi Regime to ensure UA's loyalty wouldn't waver (i.e. enforce the matter). They were all heteromorph quirk persons who looked human enough save for slight animal features. The first was a mid twenties woman named Nezumi Koncha, and the only PLF member on the UA payroll Nezu was able to actually get along with honestly to any extent.

Nezumi was fair skinned, a slender body, had a cute enough face, and she had waist length raven black hair, ruby red eyes hidden behind square lensed glasses, and she wore a baggy red t-shirt over a baggy long-sleeved white shirt, a lavander skirt that reached half way down her shins, black stockings that disappeared into and under her skirt, and black slip on shoes. Nezumi had a rat heteromorph quirk that gave her circular rat like ears rather than normal human ears, whiskers coming from around her nose, a pair of rat incisors along with her normal teeth, and a meter long rat tail. All rat-like features Nezumi had were proportionally sized for a human like her.

The second heteromorph quirk member of the immediate staff was a mid twenties man named Salazar Hebi. Fair skinned same as Nezumi, but a head taller and just as slender. Salazar also had slicked back dark brown hair. He wore a baggy dark brown t-shirt, baggy dark jeans held up with a belt, and black sneakers. Salazar had a snake heteromorph quirk that made his green eyes have slits like a snake's eyes, a meter long snake tail (proportionally sized for a man his size), a pair of snake fangs along with his normal teeth, and scales grew in patches on his person. Nezu, as well as Nezumi admittedly, was a bit uncomfortable around Salazar.

The third and final heteromorph quirk member of the immediate staff was a late twenties man named Wagyu Bison. He was a head taller than Salazar, fair skinned albeit with a very slight yet still noticeable tan, and a well toned, very buff body lacking even the barest scrap of excess fat; Wagyu was a symbol of peak physical fitness. He wore a white t-shirt that fit snug over his muscular body, a pair of blue jeans held up with a belt with a silver belt buckle, and a black cowboy hat with a single buckle on the front; silver, beautifully detailed, and set with a single, flawless, smooth piece of turquoise.

Wagyu had a bovine heteromorph quirk, given he had bovine horns growing out of the side of his head, and his feet were hooves rather than normal feet; he didn't have a proper pair of footwear to wear, but luckily the floors of UA were made strong. Wagyu also had a bovine tail that was about a meter long. Aside from the heteromorphs that were on the UA staff and payroll due to the Dabi Regime putting them there, the other three immediate staff members were all UA alumni; Mei Hatsume who took over the support course after Power Loader was killed eight years ago, and both Tamaki and Nejire Amajiki.

Nejire and Tamaki, otherwise known as Nejire-chan and Suneater respectively, were the surviving members of a group that in their day as UA students were known as the 'Big Three'. But today, Nejire and Tamaki, aside from being married to one another, are now pro heroes and UA staff members. Speaking of, Tamaki and Nejire, as well as Hatsume, all looked more or less the way they did as students, just slightly older now. But then again, it HAS been about twenty years since the Dabi Regime had taken over the world; it'd be unreasonable to expect them to look EXACTLY the same after all that time.

The fact they're alive to this day is more than a blessing as far as Nezu was concerned.

"Oh Nezu, sir," Nezumi said, "After this meeting, remind me to bring by the selection of gourmet cheese samples I just got. I haven't opened it yet, but I bet you'd like some as well."

"That does sound lovely, Koncha," Nezu replied, grateful one of the Regime-installed members of his staff sincerely wanted and tried to establish good will with him, the others, such as Salazar and Wagyu, only paid lip service, knowing full well that Nezu wasn't really the boss of the show. "Anyway, ladies and gentlemen," Nezu went on, "The reason I called for this meeting is to discuss the new first year hero course class that will start attending UA next week."

Gesturing to Nezu, Tamaki said, "I got it that the reason this class is so important is that all of the students are the children of the Class 1-A and Class 1-B who were first years back when the Dabi Regime took over."

Nezu nodded once in the affirmative. "Indeed they are. A lot of them are high profile legacies due to their heroic lineage." Nezu picked up a remote and pressed a button, making a section of wall slide away to reveal a monitor screen, pressing another button, Nezu turned the screen on and pulled up the profile picture of a boy with messy brown hair and brown eyes; he looked like Izuku Midoriya, save for having brown hair and eyes rather than green hair and eyes, also the boy unlike Izuku had a distinct lack of freckles on his face.

"This is Fuyuki Midoriya," Nezu said, "The son of Izuku and Ochaco Midoriya, UA graduates and the pro heroes known respectively as Green Bean and Uravity. Fuyuki has the same quirk as his mother, but whereas Ochaco had a weight limit of three tons that her quirk can work with when she started attending UA, Fuyuki will be coming in with a starting limit of six tons that his Zero Gravity quirk can work with."

"His dad is Green Bean," Wagyu pointed out, "Who has been the number one hero on the Hero Billboard Charts JP ever since he first became number one nineteen years ago. The kid's quirk is obviously influence by how strong the kid's dad is."

Nezu nodded in agreement before pressing a button to show the next kid, also a boy. He had a fair face similar to the former pro hero Creati, but his hair was held up with a headband similar to the pro hero Welder. "This is Sebas Awase," Nezu said, "The son of Yosetsu and Momo Awase. Yosetsu is the active pro hero Welder, and Momo is the former pro hero Creati who had to retire from hero work to assist with running and managing her family's various assets and business ventures. Sebas has the same quirk as his father, although Sebas's version of the quirk works faster if all items being welded together are metal."

"I'm familiar with Creati," Salazar spoke up, "She once hosted a fancy shindig party that a bunch of top brass in Japan attended. Creati personally greeted Emperor Dabi when he came to the party."

Nezu nodded once before pressing a button on his remote to show another profile, this time of a girl. She had fair skin, long wavy blonde hair, and a face similar to that of the pro hero Tailman's. "This is Rin Ojiro," Nezu said, "The daughter of Mashiharo and Toru Ojiro. Mashiharo and Toru are the pro heroes Tailman and Invisible Girl. Her quirk is a fusion of her parents' quirks, where she has a tail like her dad's but the tail is invisible like her mom. The quirk has been named Phantom Tail."

"Ooh, she looks like she'll be fighting to keep all the boys away," Nejire said.

Nezu allowed himself a chuckle before proceeding by pressing the same button on his remote to pull up the next profile picture. It showed a male student with eyes like the pro hero Tsukoyomi's, but he still looked human rather than have a bird head like his pro hero father. The boy was fair skinned and had raven black hair, with the bangs covering his left eye. "This," Nezu said, "Is Samidare Tokoyami," Nezu said, "Son of Fumikage Tokoyami, the pro hero Tsukoyomi. Samidare has a frog-themed version of his father's Dark Shadow quirk. Samidare Tokoyami's sentient shadow creature quirk calls itself Great Shadow."

Turning to look at Nezu, Tamaki said, "I assume the boy's mother isn't a UA alumni?" Not that anyone else at the meeting aside from Nezu picked up on it, but there was a hidden hint of knowing in Tamaki's question.

Nezu gently shook his head. "I'm afraid there's no information on Tsukoyomi's wife. It's commonly believed that he's a widower. However, Tsukoyomi's younger sister moved in with her brother and nephew to fulfill the mother role that Samidare needed growing up." Nezu pressed the button on his remote again to show the next profile, a male student with fair skin and a face similar to Vine's, but he had long black hair similar to Kuroblaze. "This is Sigurd Mahou," Nezu said, "Son of Shinra and Ibara Mahou, the pro heroes Kuroblaze and Vine. His quirk, Surtur, turns him into a fiery giant twice as tall as his base size. He's 191cm tall in his base size, so he turns into a 382cm tall fiery giant."

"I'm getting a lot of Norse pagan vibes from him," Wagyu said, "Ain't his mom a devout Christian?"

"Vine is actually able to get along with folks of other faiths," Nezu said, "And yes, Sigurd is a practicing Norse Pagan, also Shinra is openly Agnostic. But more on that later." Nezu pressed the button again, pulling up another profile picture of a male student; he looked like the pro hero Chargebolt, but with the same hair color as Earphone Jack, save for the little bolt of blonde lightning bolt on the side of his head. He also had earphone jacks growing from his earlobes. "This is Marley Kaminari," Nezu said, "Son of Denki and Kyoka Kaminari, the pro heroes Chargebolt and Earphone Jack. His quirk is a fusion of his parents' quirks, although so far he's only been known to discharge and draw in electricity from his jacks."

"Doesn't his dad have a history of 'dumbing himself out' if he uses his power too much?" Tamaki asked, "Does Marley here have the same problem?"

"No, although his electrical attacks aren't as strong as his dad's as a result," Nezu replied. The quirked animal principal of UA then pressed the button again on his remote to pull up another profile picture of an incoming UA student, this one a girl. She had the same face as Mines as well as the same hair color as him, but she had long wavy hair like Lizardy. "This is Anya Shoda," Nezu said, "Daughter of Nirengeki and Setsuna Shoda, the pro heroes Mines and Lizardy. Anya's quirk, Mind Reader, is completely unrelated to the quirks her parents have, making her unique in that sense."

"Whoa whoa whoa," Nezumi said, "The girl's quirk is called Mind Reader?"

"Yes," Nezu replied, "And as the name suggests, it lets Anya read the minds of others. However, it's been proven that Mind Reader is ineffective on Felgrand, due to him possessing the Sound Mind quirk among his eleven other quirks. Additionally, and strangely enough, Anya's Mind Reader doesn't work if used against persons who are on the autism spectrum, such as one boy who was recommended to UA's business course. Said boy will be a student in Class 1-I starting this year, while the kids whose profiles we're looking at will be in Class 1-A this year."

"Autistic persons are impervious to the Shoda girl's quirk?" Salazar asked, arching a wry eyebrow out of confusion.

Nezu nodded his head in the affirmative, before pressing the button on his remote again to pull up the next profile, also of a female student. She was fair skinned, and had long hair the same color as Mudman's, also she had long and somewhat elf-like ears like Socialite. "This is Hikari Honenuki," Nezu said, "Daughter of Juzo and Osana Honenuki, the pro heroes Mudman and Socialite. Hikari has the same quirk as her father."

"Ooh, another cute one," Nejire said, "But then again all of the girls you showed so far are cute."

Nezu nodded once in acknowledgement before pressing the button on his remote again, pulling up a profile picture of a boy with a tired looking face, long purple hair, and cat like ears rather than normal human ears, proportionally sized to fit well with humans. "This is Aizawa Shinso," Nezu said, "Son of Hitoshi and Sakaki Shinso, the former pro hero Siren-"

"-Who's a bloody fucking traitor to the Regime," Salazar interrupted, "And is currently in prison where he belongs since he was found guilty of High Treason against the Regime."

"...And the active pro hero Catscratch," Nezu said, "Also, Aizawa here has the same quirk as his mother."

"Yeah, I already don't like that kid," Wagyu said, clearly unamused, "Not only is he the son of a traitor, but he's also named after, and had apparently modeled himself after, one of the founding members of the Old Rule Rebellion."

Leaning forward, Salazar said, "I got it that Emperor Dabi's nephew had personally vouched to his uncle for the Shinso boy, fearing that the Shinso boy's lineage may prompt the Regime to bar him from attending any hero academy period. As it turned out, Emperor Dabi wasn't planning to have the door shut in the Shinso boy's face, and would have taken action personally if the Shinso boy WAS barred for whatever reason."

Nezu nodded in confirmation, glad that the villains who ruled everything weren't ENTIRELY unreasonable. Nezu then pressed the button on his remote again, this time pulling up a profile picture of a male student who looked like Cellophane but with the same eyes as well as hair and skin color as Pinky, also the same yellow horns as Pinky. "This is Ragna Sero," Nezu said, "Son of Hanta and Mina Sero, the pro heroes Cellophane and Pinky. He's got the same quirk as his mom."

"Apples seem to not fall all that far from trees this time around, it would seem," Hatsume remarked, having kept quiet for the most part.

Nezu nodded in agreement with the point before pressing the button on his remote to pull of the next profile picture, showing a boy with white hair long enough to reach his collarbone, and the bangs covered his right eye. His left eye, however, was similar in appearance to the eyes of the pro hero Coldflare. "This," Nezu began, "As I'm sure those of you assigned here by the Regime ought to know, is Toya Todoroki, the son of Shoto and Reiko Todoroki, the pro heroes Coldflare and Emily. Toya is also the nephew of Emperor Dabi, who he is named after. Young Toya has a quirk that's a mix of his mom's quirk and the ice half of his dad's quirk."

"Ah, now here's a kid I can agree with seeing attend UA," Wagyu remarked, "It'll be grand to have Emperor Dabi's nephew attending Japan's top hero academy." Both Salazar and Nezumi both nodded in agreement with Wagyu. Nezu knew that the Regime-installed members of the UA staff will be looking out for Young Toya, as he's a blood relative of the man who rules the world. Nezu decided to get back on track by pulling up the profile of the next student, a girl whose head and hair was composed of some sort of ethereal energy, like a ghost, but was in a solid enough shape to be recognizable as a head.

The ghost head girl's bangs framed her face and reached more than an inch past her chin, and her hair seemed to be bound in a ponytail that reached past the ends of her shoulder blades. "This is Celty Shizuo," Nezu said, "The daughter of Daisuke and Yui Shizuo. Celty's quirk, which is called Dullahan, is unrelated to the quirks of either of her parents, and it makes her head and neck ethereal and impervious to damage by conventional means. Celty also has some degree of super strength and invulnerability like her father, but Celty's strength and invulnerability is nowhere near as extensive as her father's."

"So she's immune to having her head smashed or ripped off, and also immune to any manner of physical damage to her throat," Tamaki said, "It'd be hard for Celty to get the Mirko treatment then."

Nezu nodded in agreement, seeing why Tamaki would use the phrase 'Mirko treatment'; it had become a phrase attributed to how Felgrand had ripped off the late pro hero Mirko's head over twenty years ago, and likewise did the same to Endeavor in the final war where Dabi won and was able to take over Japan as a result. Since the Dabi Regime had taken control of the world, one method of execution at prisons in Japan was to have Felgrand come in and give the condemned the 'Mirko treatment', but only if the prison in question was able to get Emperor Dabi to have Felgrand do it. Felgrand never takes the heads of prisoners he's made to execute in this manner, however; he only ever took the heads of Mirko and Endeavor, and aims to take the heads of Toshinori and Shouta, two of the founding members of the Rebellion.

The quirked animal principal STILL has no idea who Felgrand really is, but that's a matter he can settle later. Nezu pressed the button on his remote again to pull up the next profile, this one showing a girl with orange hair, the bangs neatly trimmed but were halfway down her forehead, and the rest of her hair pulled back into a ponytail with a red scrunchie. She also had horns growing out of the sides of her head, one horn on each side, and they curved upwards. Both of the horns were the same shade of color as the girl's hair.

"This is Yamato Shoji," Nezu said, "The daughter of Mezo and Itsuka Shoji, known respectively as the late pro hero Tentacole and the active pro hero Battlefist. Yamato's quirk, in addition to giving her four additional arms for a total of six, give her some degree of super strength and invulnerability. Yamato in this regard is comparable to the aforementioned Celty Shizuo."

"Ah yes, I know about how her father was killed," Hatsume said, "Tentacole was killed in the same attack that killed Power Loader-sensei."

"Three members of Emperor Dabi's inner circle," Salazar said, "As well as Emperor Dabi's wife Emperess Moe, were also killed in that blatant act of terror carried out by the Old Rule Rebellion. The leader of that attack is Death Arms, a former pro hero who refused to play nice with the Dabi Regime so he ended up defecting to the Old Rule Rebellion. There is a five-hundred billion yen reward for Death Arm's capture and turn over to the Dabi Regime, with the reward being doubled to a solid trillion yen if Death Arms is brought in alive."

Nezu nodded in confirmation; it saddened him to be reminded that yet another student from the Class A that was the last class Eraserhead ever taught was killed, although this time it didn't happen until the student in question, Mezo Shoji, was already an adult pro hero. Additionally, Mezo died saving the life of the son of Emperor Dabi and the late Emperess Moe; the heir to the world ruling throne lived thanks to Tentacole sacrificing his life. This had earned Mezo's wife and daughter a great deal of gratitude and favor from Emperor Dabi.

And speaking of the attack carried out by the Old Rule Rebellion, Nezu said, "The rest of the students I have profiles on here all lost their respective mothers, who were all civilians, in the same attack that claimed the lives of Tentacole, Emperess Moe, Power Loader, and three members of Emperor Dabi's inner circle." The first student Nezu pulled up after making the announcement he just made was a girl; she had the same kind of face as Long Weizi, and the same colored hair as him as well, but she wore her hair long and free, letting it flow down her shoulders and back.

"This is Hua Rin," Nezu said, "Daughter of Hiryu Rin, the pro hero Long Weizi. Her late mother was an immigrant who came here from Hiryu's homeland of China. Because of this, Hua is fully Chinese, but that doesn't change the fact that she was born in Japan. Hua's quirk is called Fenghuang, a transformation quirk that turns her arms into magnificent avian wings that let her fly, her legs from the knees down into avian legs she can grab with, and she also grows a very long stream of feathers that serve as a tail."

"A fully Chinese girl born in Japan," Tamaki remarked, "And her quirk does sound interesting."

Nezu nodded once before changing to the next slide, showing a boy with eyes similar to Real Steel's, although they lacked the exaggerated frills around the eyes that Real Steel's eyes have. He had golden blonde hair that was messy like Real Steel's hair, but long enough to reach halfway past his shoulder blades. "This here is Kin Tetsutetsu," Nezu said, "Son of Tetsutetsu Tetsutetsu, the pro hero Real Steel. Kin's quirk, El Dorado, is the same as his father's quirk but has a golden metallic sheen as opposed to the steel gray metallic sheen that his father's quirk has. The color difference is literally the only thing different between Steel and El Dorado, they are both the same otherwise."

"So he's gold with the durability of steel," Nezumi said.

Nezu gave a single affirmative nod, then changed the slideshow to pull up the next profile, showing a boy who looked exactly like Gevaduan, save for having hair twice as long as Gevaduan's. "This is Yaju Shishida," Nezu said, "The son of Jurota Shishida, the pro hero Gevaduan. Yaju has the same quirk as his father."

"He also looks like a smart, studious student," Tamaki said, "Similar to how his dad was when he was a UA student."

"Yes, we can count on Yaju to be a model student like his father," Nezu replied. The quirked animal principal of UA then changed the slideshow to pull up the next student, a boy who looked like the pro hero Rubber, save for having white hair that flared up like a flame. "This is Nika Gomu," Nezu said, "Son of Omono Gomu, the pro hero Rubber. Nika's quirk, Sun God, lets him fly and also ignite himself in a cloak of flames, but he can't cast the flames from a distance. As a side effect of his quirk, Nika is incredibly resistant to heat and fire damage."

"Well considering the kid can set himself on fire at will," Hatsume said, "Being resistant to fire would be nice."

Nezu nodded in agreement before pulling up the next student, a boy who looked like Jack Mantis but without the mandibles, also his skin was red and his hair (also red) wasn't shaved on the sides to form a Mohawk, allowing it to flow all over. "This is Artemis Kamikiri," Nezu said, "Son of Togaru Kamikiri, the pro hero Jack Mantis. Artemis's quirk, Flying Pincers, lets him grow insect-like wings that let him fly, as well as turn his hands into insect-like pincer claws that are reportedly hard as metal."

"A buggy boy from a buggy hero," Nejire reasoned, "Although it's cool his insect-like features can be grown and retracted. Wait, they can be retracted, right?"

"Obviously," Nezu replied, before pulling up the next profile, showing a boy who looked like an inverted Vantablack; whereas Vantablack had stark white hair and pitch black skin, this boy had pitch black hair and stark white skin. "This is Shiro Kuroiro," Nezu said, "Son of Shihai Kuroiro, the pro hero Vantablack. Shiro's quirk works the same as his father's quirk, but on white objects rather than black."

Gestuirng to the picture of Shiro, Wagyu said, "So this kid is just a pallet-swapped version of his dad."

"More or less," Nezu said, "And here's the last student in the new Class 1-A who's starting this year." Nezu pulled up a profile of a female student who looked like a female Spiral, but with much longer hair, and a slightly more feminine looking face, especially with the eyelashes. "This is Senkai Kaibara," Nezu said, "Daughter of Sen Kaibara, the pro hero Spiral. Senkai has the same quirk as her father."

Gesturing to the profile on Senkai, Hatsume said, "Again. Apples don't fall very far from their trees."

Nezu nodded in agreement. To the meeting as a whole, Nezu said, "All of the students in the 1-A class this year have heroic lineages. A good number of them have parents ranking in the current Top Ten, with one being the son of the number one hero. One of them is even the nephew of the man who rules the world. As you can see, this year's Class 1-A, due to the various lineages that they all have, are not only destined for greatness, but also have targets on their backs potentially."

Salazar nodded in agreement with the quirked animal who was only his boss on paper. "Yeah. Members of the Old Rule Rebellion may wanna try and get their hands on these kids and hold them hostage if they think it can free certain persons they want liberated. The Old Rule Rebellion would be especially interested in getting a hold of Emperor Dabi's nephew. That would be a nightmare for the Regime's royal family."

Gesturing to Nejire, Nezu said to the meeting as a whole, "Hence why Nejire-chan here, who is the regular homeroom teacher for Class 1-A, will have to do double-duty if she's to do her best as the teacher directly responsible for Class 1-A."

"We can't argue that point," Nezumi said, drawing surprised looks out of Salazar and Wagyu who both looked like they were going to object, "Nejire-chan has been the staff member assigned the role of Class 1-A's homeroom teacher for the past twelve years." Turning to look at Nejire, Nezumi went on, "That being said Nejire-chan, you ought to expect to be summoned before Emperor Dabi before school starts this year, if only so you can assure Emperor Dabi in person that his nephew won't come to any harm while you're responsible for him."

Nejire nodded once in understanding. "Fair enough." As much as Nejire still harbored a grudge against what Dabi, as well as a certain subordinate of Dabi's, did during the wars leading up to Dabi taking over the world, Nejire knew she had to hold her tongue and play along.

Letting out a sigh, Nezu said, "Well then, that about wraps up this meeting. Classes will be starting in a few days, so I hope all of you are ready for what all this year has in store for UA." The rest of the staff at the meeting all nodded in agreement before getting up and leaving. However, Nejire lingered behind after the others had all left. She turned to look at Nezu. "Is something up, Nejire?" Nezu asked.

"I'm actually kind of interested in how the child of two of my kouhais will be one of my students," Nejire said, "You know, Fuyuki Midoriya? Also..." Holding a hand to her chin, Nejire went on, "There's... something... about the Tokoyami boy that also has me wondering if somehow... if somehow I had missed out on having yet another cute little adorable kouhai back in my UA days."

"The first year that Green Bean and Uravity were UA students was one of the darkest and most violent periods of history ever known not just to UA, but to Japan as a whole," Nezu said. He turned his wheelchair around, looked back out the window he was looking out of before the finished meeting earlier had started. "And I can't help but sometimes wonder..." Nezu said, trailing off as he closed his eyes. He held them shut for a moment before opening them, looking back out the window with a look of somber nostalgia on his face.

"...Wonder if the right choices were made."

END, CHAPTER SEVENTY-SIX

Author's notes;

And here we see the beginning of part two of this story, which had a time-skip to the point where the kids of Izuku and his peers from his year of UA's hero course start their own hero academia. This chapter mostly was spent establishing all twenty of the kids in the new Class 1-A (sorry if that made this chapter a bit boring), as well as some background lore that occurred during the twenty years between the previous chapter and this chapter. The next chapter, however, will see the first day of school at UA for the new generation, a generation that was born into and grew up in the Dabi Regime.
