Lydian and Kreo watched Skara play the strings on the harp she made with Kreo. The sound was beautiful and the two couldn't help but tear up at listening to Skara. When Skara was done, she took a bow as her caretakers clapped.

"That was beautiful, Scarlet." Lydian said, "You'd make a wonderful Bard."

"Perhaps we should sign you up for school." Kreo said.

Skara blushed from the praise, she isn't used to it, and it felt... nice.

"I... I don't think I would do good there." Skara said, "I don't have magic."

"Scarlet, you don't need magic to be a bard, most instruments are infused with magic." Kreo said, summoning a violin, "In fact, try playing this."

Skara looked at it for a good minute before taking it. She grabbed the bow and began playing. She played for a good minute before magic began to spread out and cover the room, making several objects lift in the air.

"Woah." Skara said.

Skara stopped playing and the violin disappeared, only to reappear in Kreo's hands.

"You can also summon one that you've made." He said, "You don't need the magic to be in you, the instrument will funnel its magic through you. As long as you made them, they will understand that they're your instrument."

"I... I still don't know how I feel about going to a magic school as a human." Skara said.

"Don't worry, Scarlet." Lydian said, "The new semester doesn't start for another few weeks, you have time to get acquainted to others your age."

"Very true." Kreo said, "In fact, why don't we go out and show you a little about the world?"

"Do... do you think I'm ready for that?" Skara asked.

"Don't worry, stay by us and you'll be fine."

Skara nodded and they left the house. Elsewhere, Amity was in a large tent that sold clothes, she couldn't just wear the same outfit she came here with. Sure, she had other clothes... that her parents packed for her.

'I'm going to burn those clothes.' Amity thought.

Amity looked over an outfit that consisted of a long black shirt, belt, dark red leggings, and a necklace.

'Wait, is this... a necklace from the Good Witch Azura!?' Amity thought.

Amity picked up the crescent moon necklace and looked at it. She reached into her bag and pulled out her book, seeing the exact same necklace on Hecate.

"Okay, I need this." Amity said.

A hand rested on Amity's shoulder.

"Such a beautiful necklace for a beautiful young lady." Odalia said, "Have you found anything else you like?"

"I... I think so." Amity said, "I found a few outfits."

"Wonderful." Odalia said, "How about you and Alador go look around the market while I pay for these?"

"Okay." Amity said.

Alador and Amity walked out of the tent, immediately, Amity bumped into someone.

"Ow." Amity said, rubbing her head.

"Oh, I'm sorry, Amity."

Amity looked up and saw Luz, wearing a uniform with multiple colors on it.

"L-L-Luz!" Amity said, "It's... it's fine, I should've seen where I was... why is there a bruise on your cheek?"

Luz put her cowl's hood up.

"It's... it's nothing." Luz said, "Just... ran into something."

Alador bowed to Luz.

"Princess Luz, it's an honor to see you again." Alador said, "On your way to school?"

"Yep, going to go become another mindless drone as my mentor says." Luz said.

"Wait, school? Like... magic school?" Amity asked.

"Uh, yeah." Luz said, "We're in a world filled with magic and witches, did you think we all knew how to make spells come out of the wo-"

"Don't need to hear that!" Amity said, "Hey... uh... can I come check out the school?"

"You... want to go to Hexside?" Luz asked, "Sure... I guess. No one would stop me from bringing a guest, unless they want the funding to get cut."

"Okay!" Amity said, "Mr. Blight, can I go with her?"

Alador looked a little worried but figured that being with the daughter of the emperor at a place that is protected, couldn't be that bad.

"Okay... just... be careful." Alador said.

Amity hugged him, shocking him.

"Thank you!" Amity said, "Come on, let's go!"

Amity and Luz began to walk away, while Alador smiled.

'Be safe, Amity.' He thought, 'I don't want to lose another child.'
