Chapter Four
Hermione had the decency to be silent for once. She was not ranting or raving about grades or the need to make sure that both Ron and Harry had studied for their exams; but she was staring. Inquisitively. And hard.
It made Harry nervous. Like he had been a part of an experiment.
"Well," she said, "can't you do anything to fix this?"
Hermione sighed. This transformation was not normal in the least. It wasn't even a spell. It wasn't something that a simple Finite could fix. But...
"Have you even tried to contact your brothers Ronald?" Hermione asked. Her brown eyes hard as if it was his fault.
Ron's cheeks warmed. It wasn't often that he had shown his feelings for her in front of Harry but this...made him tongue tied.
He didn't want to answer. At least not yet. Not because he knew that he would get in trouble with them as siblings normally do. But if he had altered his friend's body and DNA he did not know how to react to that.
He was used to Harry just being Harry.
Not Harry becoming something or the other.
What would happen now? And they were in their NEWT year. Why couldn't he have done this during the summer? It would have been much easier to deal with the repercussions and now...
He wanted to sigh.
Now he had to deal with an angry Harry. An angry Hermione. And an annoying hellcat sister Ginny.
Damn it.
