Hermione's eyes welled up with tears as she looked at Harry. "I don't know what to do," she said, her voice trembling. "I don't want to lose our baby, but I can't bear the thought of living with the tracker inside me, knowing that the Empire could use it to harm us all."
Harry reached over to wipe away a tear from her cheek. "We'll figure this out together, Hermione," Harry said firmly. "We'll find a way to keep you and the baby safe. We always do."
Hermione nodded, a small smile tugging at the corners of her mouth. "I know we will," she said, leaning into Harry's touch. "But what about the tracker? We can't just leave it inside me."
"I know someone who can help," a voice said from the door.
They turned to see an old man in a robe standing there, accompanied by a younger man.
"Obi-Wan?" Senator Bail Organa asked.
"Yes, it's me, Senator," Obi-Wan Kenobi replied with a small smile. "I was on my way to see you. It seems two droids ended up on Tatooine, where I was watching over young Luke."
Harry looked at the old man curiously. He had seen him before, on a mission for the Empire, working as part of his Tharpe Torry cover, spying on the Empire for the Alliance. Old Ben Kenobi... the man who stopped Jabba the Hutt's men from collecting their "water tax" on the local farmers during the Great Drought.
"And by looking at you, I recognise that stance," Obi-Wan said to Harry. "You were a Colonel in the Empire. Colonel Torry if I remember... you didn't seem as interested as some of the other Imperial officers in me. There again, the Jedi Order tried to do something similar once... get someone in deep cover."
"Hello, Ben..." Harry said, shaking the older man's hand, noticing that the younger man looked confused.
"I was an Imperial Colonel, on deep cover for the Alliance," Harry explained to the younger man. "Part of my role was to provide information on the Empire."
"And what a great cover it was," Leia said. "Anyway, Obi-Wan, you know someone who can help with this tracker?"
Obi-Wan nodded. "Yes, I do. A friend of mine, a skilled technician, who can remove the tracker from General Granger safely."
Harry and Hermione looked at each other, their expressions hopeful for the first time since they had received the news about the tracker. "Who is this friend of yours?" Harry asked Obi-Wan.
"Her name is Sabine Wren," Obi-Wan replied. "She's a skilled technician and a member of the Mandalorian clan Wren. She's also a rebel, like us."
Hermione furrowed her brow. "Mandalorian? I thought they were extinct.". Sabine is one of the last remaining members of her clan, and she's an expert in all kinds of technology. If anyone can remove that tracker safely, it's her."
Hermione nodded, feeling a glimmer of hope in her heart. "Thank you, Obi-Wan," she said. "We'll do whatever it takes to keep our baby safe."
"I know you will, General," Obi-Wan said, smiling kindly at her. "The rebellion is lucky to have you two fighting on our side. Especially Colonel Torry-"
"Potter. Torry was just a cover name. An anagram. Harry Potter"
The younger man looked at him. "Harry Potter... Tharpe Torry." He chuckled. "That's just like calling myself Weekly Sulk Ark! I'm Luke Skywalker by the way."
"Luke has the Force, like I do." Obi-Wan said. "Just like you two have Magic. Now about Sabine, I can take you to her, but we need to be quick, and we need a shield, something to stop the tracker transmitting to the Empire..."
"Would this work?" One of the technicians asked, holding up a small device. "It's a jamming device that can block all signals in a certain radius."
Obi-Wan examined the device and nodded. "Yes, that should do the trick. We'll need to get to Sabine as soon as possible."
Harry and Hermione followed Obi-Wan and Luke out of the room, their hearts pounding with the hope that they might be able to keep their baby safe.
As they made their way to Obi-Wan's ship, Harry had to dive out of the way as someone took a shot at him with a blaster."
"Stop." Obi-wan shouted at the man with the gun. "Don't shoot, Solo, he's on our side."
Han Solo stepped out of the shadows, a smirk on his face. "Well, well, well, look who it is. Colonel Torry in the Rebel base... defect did you... Torry." he spat.
"Piss off Solo, you know as well as I do that if I was on my own when we boarded you, I'd have let you off. And for your information, I never worked for the Empire."
Han Solo snorted. "Yeah, sure you didn't. Just like I never smuggled spice."
Obi-Wan stepped in between the two men. "Gentlemen, we don't have time for this. We need to focus on the task at hand."
Han eyed Harry for a moment longer before nodding reluctantly. "Fine. What's the task?"
"We need to get to Mandalore to meet with a technician who can remove a tracker from General Granger," Obi-Wan explained.
Han raised an eyebrow. "Mandalore? You want us to go to a Mandalorian for help?" he said. "Those guys are crazy."
"They may be crazy, but they're also very skilled," Obi-Wan replied. "And they hate the Empire just as much as we do."
"And what's in it for me?"
"The safety of the Rebellion, and the safety of an innocent child," Hermione spoke up, her voice steady despite her nerves.
Han studied her for a moment before nodding. "Fine. I'll take you there. But we're doing it my way."
"Agreed," Obi-Wan said, and the group made their way to the Millennium Falcon.
"Do you have a way to jam the tracker?" Solo asked.
Obi-Wan pulled a device that the technician had given him from his robe. "I was told this should do the trick"
Han looked at the device. "Hmmm... haven't seen one of these since I did the Kessel run."
Suddenly there was a roar, and Harry found himself being lifted from his feet. He looked up to see Chewbacca, Han Solo's Wookiee copilot, towering over him.
"Chewie, put him down," Han said, rolling his eyes. "He's with us. At least that's what he says."
Chewbacca made a grunting sound.
"Well, the old man seems to think he is. I'm not so sure. I mean, he did wreck the place when he was last here."
Harry chuckled nervously, feeling a bit uneasy under Chewbacca's gaze. Holding his hands in surrender, he sighed. "I was undercover. Pretending to be an Imperial officer."
As far as I'm concerned, you made me dump a lot of precious cargo, and because of that, Jabba the Hutt wants my hide." Han nodded, grudgingly accepting Harry's explanation. "Fine. But if you cause any trouble, I'll toss you out of the airlock.
"Yeah, well, next time you smuggle don't do it in a port that has the Empire watching it." Harry muttered.
"Pardon?"
"Nothing," Harry said, shaking his head. "Let's just get to Mandalore and get this tracker out of Hermione."
The group settled into the Millennium Falcon and took off into space, the jamming device keeping the tracker from transmitting their location to the Empire. As they made their way to Mandalore, Harry couldn't help but feel a sense of unease.
"What's wrong, Harry?" Hermione asked, noticing the worry etched on his face.
"I just can't shake the feeling that something's going to go wrong," Harry replied, his voice low. "So far Batch has been one step ahead of us. What if he's got Mandalore under surveillance?"
"It's a possibility, Harry," Obi-Wan said, placing a reassuring hand on his shoulder. "But we can't let that stop us from trying. We have to take risks in order to achieve our goals."
Harry nodded, knowing that Obi-Wan was right. They had come too far to give up now. They had to do everything in their power to keep Hermione and their unborn child safe.
As they approached Mandalore, Harry could see that the planet was scarred and ravaged by war. He could only imagine what kind of hardships the Mandalorians had endured over the years. He couldn't help but feel a sense of respect for them.
When they landed on Mandalore, they were met by Sabine Wren, a young woman with bright purple hair and a fierce expression. Harry could tell just by looking at her that she was a force to be reckoned with.
"Obi-Wan," Sabine said, nodding in greeting. "Who are your friends?"
"These are General Granger and Colonel Potter," Obi-Wan replied. "We need your help, Sabine. General Granger has a tracker implanted in her, and we need it removed safely."
"There's a complication though... I'm pregnant, and I was told that if it gets removed... I could lose my baby. Mine and Harry's baby." Hermione said.
Sabine's expression softened at Hermione's words. "I understand," she said, placing a hand on Hermione's arm. "I will do everything in my power to remove the tracker without harming your baby. I have removed trackers before, and I know how to do it safely."
Hermione breathed a sigh of relief, feeling a sense of trust in Sabine's capabilities. "Thank you," she said, feeling grateful.
Sabine led them to a small workshop, where she began to work on removing the tracker from Hermione's body.
As Sabine worked on removing the tracker, Harry, Obi-Wan, and Han kept watch, making sure that no one was sneaking up on them. Chewbacca stood guard outside the workshop, his bowcaster at the ready.
Suddenly, there was a loud explosion, and the ground shook beneath their feet. Harry felt his heart racing as he looked around, trying to figure out what had happened.
"Are we under attack?" Hermione asked, fear in her voice.
Obi-Wan frowned, his eyes scanning the area. "I don't sense any immediate danger," he said. "But we need to be on guard. It's possible that the Empire has caught up to us."
Just then, Sabine emerged from the workshop, a look of triumph on her face. "I did it," she said, holding up the tracker. "The tracker is removed, and there's no damage to the baby. General Granger is going to be just fine."
Hermione let out a sob of relief, tears streaming down her face. "Thank you, Sabine," she said, her voice shaking with emotion.
Sabine smiled, her eyes twinkling. "No problem. That's what we rebels do. We look out for each other."
Suddenly, there was another explosion, and the ground shook even harder than before. Harry felt a sense of dread wash over him as he realized that something was definitely wrong.
"We need to get out of here," he said, grabbing Hermione's hand. "Now."
The group made a mad dash for the Millennium Falcon, dodging falling debris and blaster fire. As they ran, Harry caught a glimpse of a familiar figure in the distance, surrounded by stormtroopers.
"Batch!" he shouted, pointing. "There he is!"
