The enthusiastic way Leilani greeted the group that morning, how she couldn't even sit still until Colonnello pulled her on his lap to make her eat breakfast and the way her eyes were more than just brightly sparkling was telling tales.

Reborn raised an eyebrow "So excited to teach the tenth generation?"

"I can drive my motorcycle!"

He chuckled "That excited?"

"Naturally! It's my motorcycle! My new motorcycle! By Merlin it's a 1959 Triumph 650 T 120 Bonneville. This is way too amazing!"

Colonnello just ruffled through her hair "It was a struggle to even get her to sleep, even with flames and when she woke up she just jumped up. She normally likes to stay in bed for a while but not today."

She just grinned as she stuffed her breakfast in her mouth as fast as possible, completely ignoring the disapproving looks. She even already wore her suit, hanging down from her hips, still showcasing the short dungaree and ruffled crop top she wore under it.

"Are you finished yet?" she asked after she had chugged down her tea, completely ignoring the warnings of it being hot and letting her tongue hang out from her mouth at the burns she had gotten.

Reborn sighed "Let me heal you."

She shook her head "If you're attentive today you might be allowed to later but not right now." grin still visible as she used a bit of her sunflames to make it better. She didn't even bother to fully heal it, bouncing on her feet as she waited.

She almost showered the hitman in glitter as he took even more time than usual to drink his espresso but she stopped herself to not take the risk that Reborn decided that he needed to change first.

Still The second that everyone had finished she just used her magic to let every last dish float in the sink and hurried to pull her suit completely on "Let's go!"

She was already out of the door, her helmet grabbed from the living room table where nello had placed it to force her to eat breakfast first.

She fastened it while pulling her motorcycle out of the garage, her gloves already on and she sat on before the rest could even make it out of the door.

She didn't pay them any mind while they were getting in the car that had arrived yesterday.

The engine of her machine purred loudly and she could only grin more, slowly starting to drive circles while she waited, drawing them closer and closer until she almost managed to turn it on the spot. It might not be a real stunt bike but she still had flames after all.

She waited until the car had backed out of the driveway until she started to drive off, heading straight into a wheelie as she pulled up next to the car and only then letting the front come back down on the ground. She grinned even more as she swung her leg over, placed it casually over her other and looked straight at the open window.

Fon had raised an eyebrow at her.

The witch just grinned more even as they couldn't see it "Think you can keep up?" she yelled over the engine sounds.

"Skull? What are you planning?"

But she didn't answer, her leg moving back over to its original side as she pulled on the gas.

Lal was staring at the speeding up sky in front of them "Why do I have the feeling this was a mistake?"

Viper's eyes were glued to Skull as well "Because it's Skull."

Fon shook his head "We are on an open road not at a training park. There are no safeties here. She knows that."

Colonnello nodded "She knows that, indeed. That's why Lal is correct in her assumption."

Under their stares the tiny redhead left her seat to climb on the handles to sit there, casually still manoeuvring around, making sure the bike was driving straight before she let go to fall back, catching herself with her hands on the seat and pulling up in a handstand, only letting herself fall in a proper set as the first curve appeared in front of them. Not that she slowed down, instead raising her speed to drift around the curve, the motorcycle leaning so strongly to the floor that she almost graced it.

Reborn cleared his throat "She… has practise in this, remember?"

Verde fiddled with his glasses "Why does that sound like you're trying to remind yourself of that fact?"

Reborn pushed on his own pedal, taking a safe distance to not let all of them crash if Skull lost control of her motorcycle but still enough tempo to keep up and let them all keep an eye on her, especially as they were already on the mountain trail, to the left of them a gaping cliff.

Reborn drove carefully but even his eyes were still glued to the stunt driver in front of them who still hadn't slowed down or stopped her goofing off on the motorcycle.

She turned her head back for a second, her arm raised in the air showing them a peace sign before she again pushed more on the speed, flames accompanying her as she broke the speed limit on the machine.

Fon was tapping his fingers against the door next to him "Doesn't she get that this is dangerous? If she falls down the cliff neither her flames nor ours could help her."

Reborn had his teeth gritting against each other "I should have pushed to hold her flying lessons sooner. if I had known she would act like this I would have forced her to."

Colonnello raised an eyebrow "You didn't see it coming? It was obvious, kora."

"Be quiet, you were the one who gave her the bike."

"Yes, because I know she would get one herself anyway. She's good, don't worry. She never stopped practising. As soon as she got the one from Verde she turned back to practising."

Verde cleared his throat "Yes, with a toddler body. This is different."

"Not for Skull. She got it figured out. I'm more worried about Reborn. In my opinion he's way more likely to crash the car if he tries to keep this up, kora."

Before the hitman could protest Skull had again decided to drive deeper into her madness, her speed going up even more as they neared a curve, they stared in horror as she pulled the handles to the side, driving straight towards the cliff using the reiling as a makeshift ramp to jump with her motorcycle in the last second, barely managing to land on the other side but not even resting as she took the follow up curve with an even harsher drift.

Reborn had instantly hit the break as soon as he saw what the sky was doing, all of them crashing forwards.

To be honest not one of them managed to say anything, their adrenaline making their heartbeat pulsate through their whole body.

Colonnello let out a shaky breath. "Well… she doesn't believe in safety nets."

Reborn took a moment to try to ground himself, his hands fiddling with his cigarette pack as he drove on again, trying to catch up with her, a cigarette in his mouth to calm his nerves.

Not that any of them were calm, far from it. They knew Skull loved her adrenaline and living on the edge but… they hadn't assumed she was willing to go that far on a street she hadn't tested out. She hadn't even known how large the distance actually was or if the reiling w. She had just driven off without any inkling of worry, she hadn't even faltered.

They didn't manage to catch up with her again, still most of their eyes were glued to the sides of the street, just looking for signs of a crash, a part of her motorcycle or anything else. They knew she was good but… she had just proved once again how willing she was to risk her life on a whim.

The moment they drove onto the car park Vongola had they saw Skull again, she was still playing around with her motorcycle, doing stunts on the spot, only stopping when she saw them get out of the car, she fell back on her seat, stopping the engine and pulling off her helmet, a bright grin on her lips "I called it. You couldn't keep up."

Reborn opened his mouth for a second, as if he wanted to say something but only shook his head in the end before throwing a stink eye at the bike and heading towards the entrance.

Colonnello waited until she had pulled herself out of her suit, as the weather was indeed way too hot to keep it on "Skull? You're insane, kora."

Leilani just laughed as she took his hand "Good. Sanity is boring."
