Lola Sayu
The Empire's fleet of Star Destroyers created a blockade around the orbit of Lola Sayu, the planet that the Citadel was on and was where the Jedi Order kept rogue Jedi imprisoned. If Barriss's information was correct the station would have several rogues inside being slowly returned back to the light, most of whom had gone astray during the Clone Wars. There weren't very many but there were still plenty of members of the Jedi Order who had been tasked with guarding the hold and helping their fallen fellow Jedi.
"Start the bombardment on the station," Admiral Tarkin ordered swiftly, "It will weaken their defences and make it easier for us to penetrate their walls."
As the weapons were being primed Darth Xaeven arrived on the bridge and when he saw what the Admiral was about to order he became furious.
"STOP!" Darth Xaeven yelled over the noise and all the technicians stopped in their tracks to look at him, "The Empress wants live prisoners, not dead Admiral," he reminded the older man.
"I know very well what the Empress wants but that does not change the fact that we need to bombard the station to break their defences," Admiral Tarkin stated confidently.
"No, I have already ordered a ground assault, the Force Born are surrounding the Citadel as we speak," Darth Xaeven revealed, "Be sure to focus your attention on stopping the Republic reinforcements from arriving to help if you wish to live to see another battle," he suggested as he turned around and walked off the bridge.
Meanwhile, on the planet's surface below, the Force Born were dropped off on a cliff nearby the station with an entourage of X5-S9 droids.
"We will need to get through their defences," Joikaw pointed out and then he looked at Zromkiar expectantly, "What's the plan?"
"We will send the Sith Army in one wave at a time," the Sith Master responded, "This should draw all the guards out of the Citadel and then the X5-S9 droids will stun them. Once the Sith Army can reach the doors without anyone running out to meet them only then will they enter with the droids," he explained.
"What if reinforcements arrive?" Aqiri inquired.
"We will be on the platform to handle any reinforcements along with a few X5-S9 droids," Zromkiar answered.
The others all nodded to show that they understood the plan as the ship landed at the drop-off point and all the Force Born jumped out of the open doors. As they ran towards the landing platform they reflected blaster fire back at the many guns that were mounted all over the wall and on the platform. The Force Born took a fast run-up, using the Force to enhance their speed and then they jumped the gap between the cliff and the landing platform.
"Now that is living, isn't it brother?" Taevo yelled over the battle to Namut who rolled his eyes at his twin's immaturity. Then a ship hovered overhead as the Sith Army jumped down onto the platform ahead of them, all of whom ran towards the guns to destroy them.
Zromkiar held up his fist which bought the Force Born to a quick stop as they stood back and mainly reflected blaster fire away from themselves.
"With me," Zromkiar called to Joikaw and Hirhaish to use the Force to bring the X5-S9 droids down from the dropship above their heads. Then all the droids were on the platform and moved towards the entrance into the station as the doors opened and Jedi guards came running out, lightsabers activated. The Force Born watched as the Sith Army distracted the Jedi whilst the droids stunned them quickly. Cages and crates were dropped to the platform as the dropship then proceeded to fly away and land a safe distance away where it could not get hit to wait until they were ready to leave. The unconscious bodies of the Jedi guards were starting to be restrained with the Force-inhibiting cuffs and then shoved into the cages.
"This mission will give the Empire plenty of slaves," Aqiri giggled in amusement.
Once there were no more Jedi running out of the station the Sith Army proceeded to enter the Citadel while the Force Born stayed out on the platform.
Meanwhile, inside the Citadel, the Sith Army was nearing the rooms that each held one of the rogue Jedi. The first door they broke through revealed an unconscious Mon Calamari inside and four Sith Soldiers entered as a Sith Commander looked at the records for this particular individual.
"It says here that his name is Ambaln, the Jedi have decided to be helpful in our mission as he is currently sedated," the Sith Commander revealed as he pressed a button on the control console to release the containment field causing the alien's body to crumple to the ground in a heap. The Sith Soldiers pulled the cuffs off Ambaln's wrists and ankles, only to replace them with Force-inhibiting cuffs. Then he was dragged out of the room and onto the landing platform to be shoved into a cage swiftly.
"Do you have his records?" Ridae asked as the Sith Commander approached her with a datapad which he handed to her.
"All of it is on here."
"Good now get back to work!" Ridae ordered in a harsh tone.
"Yes, my lord," the Sith Commander groaned as he turned away and entered the Citadel once again. "So how did this one go rogue?" Namut inquired curiously as he scowled at the unconscious Mon Calamari.
"From what the records on him say he fell to the dark side after spending eighteen months undercover trying to infiltrate a large crime syndicate. Then he fled to the Outer Rim Territories where he supposedly tried to create his own darker version of the Jedi High Council," Ridae answered sceptically, "I doubt he will be of great use to the Empress though," she added with distaste.
"Nevertheless, that is not up for us to decide," Zromkiar pointed out as he joined the conversation and then he turned to the young teen, "Shouldn't you be assisting your brother with keeping watch Namut?"
Namut frowned slightly but moved back over to where Taevo was standing on the edge of the landing platform.
Agent Lazarn Brightvale knelt on a nearby cliff with his sniper rifle ready to use if necessary, unfortunately, it was loaded with a stun bolt cartridge but the Empress herself had given her specific orders which he was not going to disobey. Especially when out of all the Agents at the Academy the Sith Empress had to choose from for this mission, she had selected him. Suddenly there was a commotion on the landing platform below as another Rogue Jedi had been bought out of the station.
"Excellent, target practice," Lazarn whispered as he looked through the viewport of his sniper rifle and aimed the red light at the strange humanoid that was currently causing havoc for the Sith below as they attempted to lock the creature into a cage. Unlike all the others this one was extremely tall and clearly very strong as he began to throw Sith away from him, one of which was thrown over the edge of the platform to fall to his death into the boiling hot lava below. Then Lazarn pulled the trigger and within seconds the Rogue Jedi was out within a blink of an eye.
"Perfect shot," Lazarn said to himself proudly, "As always."
Then the Imperial SIS Agent went back to observing the scene that was unfolding in front of him until he was needed again for his superior skills with a sniper rifle.
