Loads of jumbo lollipops hurled straight to Yesss' airborne craft. She was far too close to getting wacked by the spherical candy, screaming as she dodged out of the way, flying upwards. They heard the sound of glitches layering on top of each other, and a pile of Jawbreaker crumbs scattered over the windshield.

"Dangit, I can't see!" Yesss yelled in an annoyed tone. Tamora raised her arm over her face as pieces of Jawbreakers continued to slam against the front window. The silver vehicle weakened against the viruses, preventing it's flying abilities as it slightly sunk down.

"Are you sure we should still go through with this? 'Cause I really don't think we're gettin' anywhere!" Felix shouted above the piercing noise, his hands over his ears. "You doin' okay up there, honey doll?"

Tamora turned to him, nodding with a smile. "Course I am, Fix-it. Still can't see nothing, Yesss?"

The burnt sugar-scented fog was too much to handle for the groups breathing in the gray plane. The higher Yesss flew, the more difficult it got to view anything. Even Tamora's sensor gave out on them; the guidelines were blank, and the top flashed 'OUT OF SERVICE'.

Spamley poked his head out of the window, holding onto his hat and scooting closer to Ralph. "Are we lost?"

Yesss paid more attention, flying into the smoke again for whatever familiar street she could land on.

"Honestly, I think so... I'm sorry, Ralph. I know you wanted to get your friend back."

Ralph's heart felt like it was kicked out of his chest. What was that supposed to mean?

"Uh, Yesss, what are you talking about?"

"Ralph, I don't think she's here." Yesss groaned out.

"No, she- she is! You just have to try harder, please. I know she's still out there somewhere." Ralph argued in denial.

Spamley tried getting their attention when he recognized a child on the sidewalk.

"Guys?"

"Don't you get it, Wreck-it? She was a total mess and there's no saving her now!" Tamora snapped, her voice breaking. "I don't want to lose her either, but-"

"You don't know what your talking about!" Ralph bellowed behind her.

"GUYS!"

"WHAT?!" The other four asked in unison.

"Ahem!" Spamley pointed towards a little girl that was fully out of it. Without question, Yesss dived her plane down straight to Vanellope, the five hopping out and dashing to her.

"V! Sweetheart are you alright!?" Yesss asked. Ralph scooped her up in his arms, wiping the dirt off her face. He couldn't hold it in anymore.

"Oh, kid..." He whimpered, still half-coughing from the smoke.

Breaking down in a quiet cry, he held his best friend to his chest, like he never did before. Like it was the last time he ever would. Yesss rubbed his back softly, trying to numb the pain away.

Thin coral scars remained from her veins, and her body was entirely loose. She was back to her default clothing, but except for her classic candy colors, they were only black and gray, along with her lifeless skin tone.

"Come on, come on V." Tamora held the girl's face in her hands, checking for any kind of breath. "Wake up for us, please?" But no response came from her.

"Wait, let me try..." Felix wacked his hammer into Vanellope's chest, aiming for her tiny heart that didn't want to beat. He continued to hit harder, but only being able to achieve a slow rhythm.

"Is it working?" Spamley asked.

"I'm not sure, I think the viruses were too strong." The handyman responded. He didn't give up. He kept going until small pixels glowed through her. It wasn't much, but in that very moment, it offered them more hope than needed.

Her breathing was only hollow, but her minor scars left as if they never existed.

Ralph's mouth rose to a side grin, inhaling sobs from his tears. "I think she's back..."

"She is!?" Tamora asked, putting her finger under the child's nose.

"Shootin' Shrimp, SHE IS!" Felix exclaimed, as he and Spamley jumped in the air celebrating, and high fiving the rest of their friends.

Vanellope could say only a tiny groan in her sleep, still inattentive of everything she caused.

"She's still unconscious though." Tamora stated, clicking her remote and summoning her hovercraft. "I'll keep her in my backseat. We still gotta delete this turmoil." She commanded. "Let's go, Soldier."

"Right on, Ma'am!"

Felix hopped inside the hovercraft with her, while Yesss and Spamley sat into the gray airborne.

As expected, more edible sweets catapulted over to them, starting with huge chocolate chips and sharpened churros.

Ralph kept on the ground, wrecking away as many cake shards as possible. Lucky Charm marshmallow hornets came from behind him, nearly munching on his head if they weren't blown up by his friend.

"Careful, Wreck-it. Remember, those freaks are always behind you too."

Ralph sighed, hearing her comment in his earpiece. "I knew that."

Tamora then zapped a buttercream virus source with her electric gatling gun, the sweet concoction bubbling into nothingness. Felix let deadly raspberry tracks catch up to the hovercraft just in time so he could knock them out with his golden hammer flawlessly.

"Deleted eleven more viruses!" Spamley alerted. "I think we're almost done!"

"Oh, thank stakes." Tamora breathed as she wiped out the last virus source, which was an army of malicious gummy bears— and Spamley hacked enough viruses to delete the codes altogether.

The frosty clouds disintegrated into little bits, revealing the original daytime sky. The bright electric wires zoomed into the distance, eventually leaving the digital surface for good. Websites rebuilt themselves quickly, while older ones took about fifteen minutes or more.

Ralph smiled lovingly as he looked up at the airborne craft, while Yesss gave him a big thumbs up out of the window. "We did it, you guys!" He congratulated.

"Yeah, HA HA! That's my favorite wrecker!" Spamley cheered once again, hardly patting Ralph's back, as the eighties character and the Buzzztube algorithm giggled.

"Man. Gotta say, Hulk Hands, those were some pretty sweet knock-outs, if I do say so myself." Yesss extolled.

Ralph chuckled shyly. "Oh, uh- it's nothin', ya know? It's just my duty."

Felix wiped a tear from his eye, viewing the beautiful, endless city he and Ralph once traveled to.

"Oh, I'm so proud of you Tammy!" He beamed up at his tall wife, who yanked him up and gave him a loving, romantic kiss.

"Same here, Fix-it." His wife replied, a grateful expression shown on her face. The sergeant's eyes immediately darted to Vanellope. She was safe and sound in the passenger seat, but still showed no signs of awaking anytime soon.

"Oh, right! I almost forgot." Felix said as he turned to her as well. "We need to get her back home."

"Don't worry. I'll get Ralph." His wife assured.

Knowsmore's nervous body shook next to his library, the wooden shelf rumbling with him. He noticed the outside commotion calmed itself down after putting his ear to the metal blinds.

"I- is it finally over?" He said to himself, cautiously raising the metal sheet that covered his website.

He was absolutely mind blown.

YouTube and Google were up and running again; Facebook and Instagram were spammed with infinite pictures and messages from friends and family all over the world, just as it should be.

And one by one, internet users popped in and out of every service as if nothing had happened, starting from only a hundred to billions.

"Well," Knowsmore fixed his glasses as he admired the huge utopia he called home. "Looks like everything's back to normal after all."

"I've found two results for 'How to train your cat in five minutes without treats.'" Knowsmore chimed as the internet user clicked on his screen and zoomed to a destination.

"My, nobody says thank you around here!" He then saw five people running to his desk, a child in Ralph's arms.

"Oh, hello Ralph!" He greeted warmly. "And how are you doing… um… you two. Yesss."

"Hey, Knowsmore, my guy!" Spamley said, handing out his fist for a fist bump.

"Spamford." The purple algorithm replied straightforwardly, crossing his arms.

"Alright, look, we need help. You know Vanellope, right?" Felix started off.

"Of course. She's so polite."

"Yeah well, she got infected with a lot of viruses and she's not waking up." Explained Ralph.

Knowsmore took his glasses off, rubbed his eyes and put them back on. "Excuse me, you mean, all that earlier… that was her?"

"Yeah, and she might die soon if we don't know what to do!" Yesss added, practically begging for an answer.

"Okay, okay. Give me one moment."

Knowsmore trailed his finger through his books until he found the one with a maroon cover on it.

"Ah, yes! Arcade Rules and Origins."

"See that? All you have to do is go into her game and let her reset on her own. Since this usually happens in main characters, that could explain why she's gray." Knowsmore informed as he pointed to a detail in the book.

Felix was impressed by the fast and summarized answer. "That's all we got to do?"

Tamora put her hands on her hips. "Guess so."

Ralph couldn't be happier, and he had the best algorithm on the entire internet to thank it for. "Oh, that's awesome! Thank you, Knowsmore!" He grinned, showing he was more than satisfied.

"Oh, your very welcome." He didn't have time to say anything else as the game characters had already rushed away.

"Looks like our works done here. Ready to go?" Tamora asked, resting her arm around Felix.

Ralph nodded his head calmly. "Yeah, yeah, definitely. Hey Yesss, Spamley, I just wanna thank you-"

"You can call us later. Go and get our girl home!" Yesss urged as she hurried the three game characters to the WiFi outlet.

The trio practically slid over to Sugar Rush, but were stopped by the Surge Protector.

"Hey, what gives?" Ralph asked.

"Don't you see the duct tape? The game's out of order." The Surge Protector said, pointing to Sugar Rush's entrance. "The kids said the game was gettin' all black or something."

"…Well, we need to get in there so Vanellope can live." Said Felix kindly. "And we don't got much time."

"MOM! DAD!"

"What the-"

Fifteen children sprung into Felix and Tamora's arms, most not letting go, and others almost crying as they hugged them tighter.

"Aww, we missed y'all too!" Felix cooed at Candlehead and Nougetsia, rubbing their hair.

"How was the internet?" Swizzle asked.

"Uh… we'll get to that." Tamora laughed.

"Is that Vanellope?" Taffyta asked scared of her dead appearance.

"Surge Protector please. Just let us try at least." Ralph refused to take no for an answer. He even showed the state Vanellope was in.

He saw the child, looking dull and gray, and back up to Ralph, who had distress in his eyes from not being allowed to enter.

"Okay." He said. "Hope you know what your doing."
