"So you're a ghost, like us?" Vlad said, gesturing to himself and the other. "Or more precisely, I take it you've been invisible to society for all this time?"

Tombstone narrowed his eyes at the halfa, his face stern as he hummed with intrigue. He revealed how he met the ghost man months back, almost a year by his count.

"Very perceptive, Mr. Plasmius. Indeed, I have kept my position in the world a secret from the prying eyes of the government and any prying superheroes, as the public would say. Some hear my name, but fewer seek me out," the speaker replied. He chuckled with a dark, sophisticated voice. "And that's where we tread common ground."

"Hold on a minute!" Drakken interjected. He slammed a fist on the console, hissing in pain as he rubbed the sore hand, blowing on it. He stopped as he remembered he was video chatting, recomposing himself as Shego shook her head. "I'm not some invisible stooge! I have a name!"

"That is only known by a select few. To the world, you are seen as nothing compared to the other villains and organizations, but I don't mean that as an insult, Dr. Drakken. For a man of your talents to go unnoticed, I consider it a gift."

"...Go on." Drakken spoke calmly, smiling softly as he listened with intrigue. He leaned back into his seat. His right hand almost dropped her jaw at the compliment her employer received.

"Wahoo! Yeah!" Jinx cried out as Black Cat pushed the pedal to the metal. Her hands sailed the breeze as she stood up, feeling the wind against her face.

The sports car roared with its engine as they ran a red light, skidding past traffic as they turned onto the next street. The girls laughed at the high speeds of their joy ride, doughnuting to a stop at the mall parking lot.

Black Cat panted as her adrenaline hit a new high. She leaned back into her seat, her chest bobbing up and down, calming down to some stability. She turned to Jinx, the girls making eye contact, and shared a smile.

"Told you a little girl time was all you needed," Jinx quipped, giggling as she unbuckled her seat belt.

The witch vaulted over the car door and made her way to the mall, still brimming with teens. She held mischief in her eyes, looking back at the kitten.

"You coming?" Jinx saw the car empty, void of its driver. A tap on the girl's shoulder brought her attention to the thief, who was seen holding a bundle of cash.

Black Cat wore the same playful nature on her sleeve, holding the wad like a fan. Her smirk turned into a smile as the money was rolled up and placed into her inner jacket pocket. While stealing was fun, there was a time to break from tradition for a bit of normalcy.

"Ok, but we do this my way," Black Cat cooed.

"Meaning?" Jinx's smile widened.

The kitten whispered into the girl's ear, making the witch's smile drop with a puzzling face. The latter stepped back, looking at her friend like she had gone crazy. "Trust me, it'll be fun," the kitten added.

The kitten grabbed her friend's hands and dragged her inside.

The pink-haired teen witch had her about this, but the kitten had been super fun so far. So for now, Jinx is willing to trust her new friend's judgment on what kind of fun they can have in this small town.

Jack Fenton was playing with his self made action figures of himself and a ghost. He was recreating one of the many scenarios from his ego as the toys traded fists and quips.

"Take that! Ha! Ha! Nobody makes a meat puppet out of Jack Fenton!" The man-child cried out as toy Jack's fist hit the plastic ghost.

Maddie was beside her husband, glancing at the child-like enjoyment with a smile as she focused on her book. Everything was quiet for the parents as they savored this moment of peace.

This rare moment was interrupted as the doorbell rang.

"I'll get it!" Jack cried out, running to the entrance. He swiftly swung open the door as a red flash greeted him.

Danny flew at top speed as he followed a trail of bad luck. From empty pockets to people conversing of a speeding car, the ghost boy looked around with confused perception as he listened to the nearby citizens' talk of hot girls in black, one of which matched Black Cat.

That was troubling as he knew the girl mostly worked alone.

"I know I should be apologizing for what I said, but what the heck made Black Cat steal a car and take it for a joy ride?" Danny asked himself as he followed the chattering of people.

There was no sign of carnage, destruction, or any major theft besides the expensive car. It was almost strange, given the ghost boy thought this was to be the beginning, ending with a crime spree that would have robbed the town blind, or was he expecting the worst because it seemed like that would happen?

Sometimes the thief would cloud his kind, returning to some robberies and thefts he'd seen. A school trip was scheduled at the museum where the students were to take notes and learn about historical renaissance artists other than Da Vinci. To the entire student body's surprise, there were pieces of art, like The Creation of Adam, The School of Athens, and the Annunciation, missing, all replaced with a picture of a black cat and a kiss mark.

The art was returned the following hours, but Danny had been glaring at Felicia, who gave a wink and blew him a kiss. The point had been she stole famous paintings and returned them like it was nothing.

Granted, his DP logo was painted next to the returned items, which helped Amity Park's reputation, but there were still so many questions he wanted to be answered.

"Seriously, she's got skill, brains, looks that make her a supermodel, and she uses a lot of it for stealing. I just can wrap my head around why," Danny muttered as he reached the trail's end, landing by the parked car. He looked at the doughnuts left behind, admitting it was actually awesome to see so many while hoping no one heard him.

Checking the car for clues, he found nothing, turning his attention to the obvious: the mall.

A self-inflicted slap on the head, and he flew inside to confront the kitten. But there was a a nagging feeling he was forgetting something. It was on the tip of his tongue.

The Amity Park mall was littered with teens, each hoping to spend to their heart's delight with whatever saved allowance or earnings, save for those on their shift.

Danny floated invisibly above the crowds as he slowly searched the borders of the ceilings. There was no way he'd miss the thief or fall victim to a surprise case of bad luck.

Every hanging light, loose panel, and shadow was inspected, leaving nothing unturned, but also gifting no discoveries.

If anyone could see the ghost boy, they would raise a brow, seeing him to be plenty superstitious, possibly posting the moment on social media, but frankly he didn't care. Since he knew exactly what and who he was dealing with, he wouldn't take any chances.

However, the conversations of mall goers and shoppers either walking from or towards a specific mall location caught his attention.

"Did you see those hot chicks?" A random teen asked.

"Which ones? The ones at Chicktoria Secret or Bikini Republic?" His friend retorted, smiling lecherously.

"No, I mean the hot silver haired chick in the tight body suit and her friend with the skirt at Oh! La La!"

"Oh yeah...too bad they weren't wearing any of the dresses"

The ghost boy floated behind the two as he eavesdropped, meaning that he should head in that direction to see what the cat was up to and about her new friend. The latter of whom he was trying to remember.

Ou! La La! was a store specializing in dresses and styles from across the ocean, mainly European. A new line of dresses were on display as Black Cat and Jinx had fun, with security standing by, uncertain what was happening.

"Are these kids or—what's it called?—cosplay...ing?" One guard asked, only to receive a shrug from the other as they continued to wait.

"Ugly. Tacky," Jinx said, going through the rack of outfits. She picked up the latest fashion trends again to see how they matched her looks, but not many appealed to her. Picking up a purple dress, she held up to herself in a mirror, smiling.

"Be honest. Does this make me look more grown up?" Jinx turned to Black Cat, who turned around in the same dress.

"Only if you say the same about me," Black Cat cooed.

The girls giggled as they resumed their browsing, ignoring the plethora of onlookers ranging from scared shopgoers to concerned citizens to ignorant people thinking the girls had no class to a scant few boys and girls watching with heart-tinted lenses.

The girls took advantage of their popularity, enticing the crowd to help hold their bags as they held up more stylish and exotic dresses.

"Ooo! Check out this Agreste original!" Jinx held up a strapless dress striped pink and black. "It really speaks to me."

"You gonna buy that?" Black Cat giggled, walking over as she placed the dress on her friend's front. "I know I would, if I were you."

One of the boys ogling, nodded as he agreed with a salivating voice. A few others showed their parallel, hive-minded opinions as some wolf-whistled. Being in a small town, the crowd seemed to think they had been missing out, despite an onslaught of glares from outside the store.

Girls could be seen calling the police, saying how some weirdly dressed girls were stealing all the attention from them. Ironically, the teen villains were still legally buying their clothes.

Or rather, Black Cat was.

"Who says crime doesn't pay?" Black Cat cooed as she took out a wad of cash. "Whoever said that, didn't know how much I saved up."

"So you go on shopping sprees?" Jinx asked, now looking at a skirt, top, and jacket combo with knee socks.

"Not exactly. Some of it can be, but a girl has to stay ahead in the game," Black Cat retorted as she put away the money. She glanced at the back of her nails, retracted as the nanotech glove hugged her hand. "Although maybe it's time I treat myself to some new acrylics."

The girls continued their spree, almost done with all the fashion as they rang up the clothes, paying in cash as the items were bagged.

The duo would have started packing things up for the next store if a new voice had not joined the crowd.

"You're shopping in plain sight?"

The girls stopped to see Danny Phantom staring in disbelief. The crowd grew as many saw the local hero, with many girls cheering him on.

The ghost boy blinked, zigzagging his attention as he questioned the context of the situation with the fact he now remembered Jinx and the fact she is with Gizmo and Mammoth. The horn-haired girl left a bigger image, having flirted with him and could easily harm him.

Wasting no time, the new case of bad luck somersaulted over, stopping with her head inches away from the boy's face.

"Hey, cutie," Jinx greeted, leaning into the ghost boy with a sultry smile. "I forgot you were here, but aren't you glad we meet again?" She cooed.

"Eh...hard to say. I ran into your friends earlier and scared them off," Danny replied with a thumb pointing behind him.

"You mean, beat them up." The witch narrowed her eyes.

"Actually, no. The moment they saw I could touch them without them touching me, they sorta ran for it. I figured they'd just leave town or something." The ghost boy shrugged nonchalantly as the girl backed away, staring blankly at him.

Jinx cocked her head to the side as Black Cat dragged her back, adding more to the confusion.

"Nice try," the kitten cooed. "but I call dibs...then again, misery loves company...And I am still mad at him..."

"Dibs?" Jinx looked at her friend and then over her shoulder. "You mean, him? That's what this is about?"

"Partially, but really it has more to with more boring details—can we change the subject and just start teasing him? We can take this spree on the road."

"...Fine. Just let me pay for the dress." Jinx took the dress she had on earlier and brought it to the register. To the ghost boy's surprise, she handed the clerk money, legally obtaining the outfits. He was so stunned the boy forgot these two were about to make his night more bothersome than the day the Box Ghsot pestered the town for a full twenty-four hours.

"What the heck? You're actually paying for the dress?! I thought you'd just steal it!" Danny cried out. "What's next!?"

The walls exploded as Mammoth and Gizmo appeared, now chasing the shoppers away as they scared all but the ghost boy and bad luck girls away. Their previous nervousness was removed as the hulking boy cracked his knuckles through his gloves.

"Hey, ghostie, up for another round?" Mammoth quipped.

"You guys! I was actually paying for something!" Jinx retorted.

Gizmo blinked, staring at his pink-haired cohort before flailing about childishly. "That's the stupidest thing! You can just take them and not have to! What barf-brained idiot told you to pay for stuff?!"

Black Cat coughed, glaring at the tiny boy. She was tempted to give him a terrible case of bad luck, but decided on a rain check, for now. If anything, she knew the twerp would get what was coming to him soon.

"...Um...the black kitten, right?" Mammoth was now being glared at by the thief. "Right—Cat. Got it.

The kitten rolled her eyes, playfully ignoring the boys as she turned to the ghost boy, who was still in trouble from the past comment earlier.

"Let me guess, you're gonna take me in today?" She cooed.

This was bittersweet as the ghost boy was looking to apologize but now couldn't in front of everyone, and now had to deal with twiddle big and twiddle small again, unable to think of proper quipped names at the moment.

Whatever was on Danny's mind was shattered as Mammoth ended the peace with a punch to the head. The ghostly hero flew through the wall as security took out their guns.

Gizmo fried the weapons with lasers, walking on his mechanical spider legs. His wicked smile sneered at the officers as they ran, yelling how they were not paid enough for this job.

Jinx sighed as she grabbed her bags, sad to see the shopping spree ended. For what it was worth, having another girl to talk to was a breath of fresh air, especially because she could keep everything. Villainess or not paid, clothes were still paid and fashionably fabulous.

"What the heck?" Danny phased back through the wall. "Since when did you have anti-ghost tech?"

Gizmo fired lasers as the ghost boy put up a shield. He concentrated the beams, pressuring the barrier as Mammoth jumped onto of Phantom, trampolining on him. From this moment, Danny saw the Fenton logo on the hands and feet of the latter, the former sporting a lighter shade of green now.

Even a C-straight student like Danny could decipher the situation.

"What's the matter? I thought you could handle us, scuz bucket!" Gizmo taunted as the barrier broke, letting Mammoth crash into Danny.

The ghost boy groaned in pain, pretty sure he only had two ribs intact after the stomping. But was a little pain right now compared to having Mammoth standing on top of him?

"Got something to say, punk?" Mammoth smashed his knuckles together, showing off his ghost gauntlets.

Black Cat sighed, fidgeting as she watched the boys fight. Her finger extended and retracted a claw, tapping at the counter until Jinx grabbed the appendage.

"Something in your mind, kitty?" Jinx asked.

The girl bit her lower lip as she stared between the boys, her body moving independently as her eyes flashed green. By the time she realized what she had done, the floor of Ou! La La! collapsed with the trio falling into the food court below.

Danny coughed, free of Mammoth's body weight, as he stood up, cracking his back in place as teens and mall goers ran.

"It's ok. I've been needing to see a chiropractor anyway," Danny muttered, disgusting the situation with a joke as his hands glowed. "Too bad you'll need more than one session after this," he added, glaring at Gizmo and Mammoth.

Black Cat slapped her face, running to the hole. Fight or not, destroying a good store always made her want to cry. There was now less to steal, despite paying for everything.

Jinx jumped in front of the kitten, taking a stance as she stared.

"What was that?" Jinx demanded, throwing her arms as an X-shaped wave hit the floor, launching the kitten into the mannequins.

The store clerk gasped, now hiding under the counter as the fights grew.

If she didn't make employee of the month getting through this, she'd quit.

Short but sweet. Next time, we see the fight and a conclusion of something's, but I won't say what that is, yet.

Special Thanks! to Jay The Average Fanboy for all his help!

Thank you everyone for leaving a review:

RonaldM40196867: Originally, I was gonna have a regular super villain appear to show how things are changing, but during the choosing, Jinx was the better choice as she was closer to Black Cat, and therefore could bring some tension. Since technological classes have been integrated into Casper High, the nerds get to show their skills, making them more confident. Because of this boost, they no longer feel threatened by the jocks, actually getting back at them with some hacking into their computers using their intellect and some spam. I thought it was obvious how it was Mammoth, without being blunt(I'm trying to keep things subtle as to not have to explain every detail). It's gonna be more than just dealing with the hospital.

Invader Johnny: Slowly?

LockAndKey989: Katie will appear, and I did hear of your fanfic. Sadly, I've lost interest in the original side story, also ironic since I'm a big Batman fan. I'll give a review in the future.

Luiz4200: More like in distress. More on that later.

Jebest4781: Thanks!

guilhermefinamori: I admit, it's one of the pairings I'd like to write about. No clue about the odds of me writing it, mainly because my main focus is scattered, but I won't annoy you with the details.

NiteOwl18: Thanks!

ghostrider00(Guest): An interesting idea, but I had something else in mind, but more on that in the future.

Guest: Laughing for four hours straight? I doubt I'm that good...yet.

Jay The Average Fanboy: 1) Captain America. 2) Black Widow. The same as the comics, but with Amanda Waller butting heads with Nick Fury.
