Long Journey Farewell, My Friends

After the intense battle against Dio, Jotaro heard the sirens of the Speedwagon Foundation and police approaching. The agent's of the Foundation got to work and blocked off the road where the battle took place and talked with the police to cover it up. Inside one of the Speedwagon Foundation vehicles, the agent's had already recovered Joseph's lifeless body. They put Dio' body inside the same vehicle and Jotaro got on as well.

While sitting next to his grandfather's corpse, Jotaro silently watched the two doctors who accompanied them signing papers and typing on the computer and hearing the driver speak with the other agents on the radio.

"This is Speedwagon Car Two reporting. We're heading North on Al-Nil street and Dio's body has been retrieved. I repeat, Dio's body has been retrieved." The agent informed.

"Dio's body will stay alive until it's exposed to the sunlight. So be careful and don't let your guard down." The agent on the other end warned.

"Roger."

"Kakyoin Noriko has been found with Iggy by her side. They both appear to be very injured. We're taking them to the hospital as quickly as possible."

Jotaro's head perked up from the information. His red-headed girlfriend is still alive and felt relieved.

"Jean Pierre Polnareff is unconscious and currently being treated in Car One."

"Roger."

"By the way, I have a question for you, Car Two. Why did you put Dio and Joseph's bodies in the same vehicle?"

"Because this isn't over yet." Jotaro responded. "Dio took something…"

The doctor next to Jotaro averted his eyes to him in confusion.

"… And I need to get it back."

"What are you talking about?" The other doctor who was typing on the computer, asked.

"Is it possible to transfuse blood from one corpse to another?" Jotaro queried.

Both doctors gasped.

"A-Are you suggesting we transfer Dio's blood to Mr. Joestar's corpse?!" One of the doctors asked.

The other doctor stood up from his chair, "Are you trying to bring Mr. Joestar back to life?!" Asked in disbelief.

"Dio took the Old Man's blood a few minutes ago." Jotaro stated. He stood up, his hand touching the ceiling and towering over the Speedwagon doctors. "Dio's upper part of the body has been annihilated but I want him to return what he has remaining. "You think we can still make it in time?"

"W-What you're asking for is impossible, Mr. Jotaro!" The doctor told the delinquent. "He doesn't have a pulse!"

"Meaning his heart has stopped so it's impossible to make his blood circulate throughout his body!" The other doctor said.

"Impossible?" Jotaro said in a firm tone. "Our journey has been full of impossibilities. I'm tired of hearing that things are 'impossible' or 'useless' . Those words mean nothing to us. You said his heart has to be pumping, right? How fortunate."

The two doctors raised their brows, watching the teen walk over to his grandfather.

"Thanks to Dio," Jotaro continued. "I've had practice with stopping and starting hearts." Summoning Star Platinum, the purple warrior-like Stand shoved its hand into Joseph's chest.

Grabbing the heart, the Stand began pumping it.

On the screen, there was a pulse, meaning the heart's moving. The two doctors both hurried, grabbing all the equipment to transfuse the blood from Dio's body to Joseph. After setting it up, Jotaro stopped pumping his grandfather's heart now that it was able to beat on its own. Suddenly Joseph's shriveled skin began to regain its color, his flesh was softening and stretching. The screen showed brain waves being detected.

The doctors couldn't believe their eyes of what they were seeing and were in shock.

After a moment, Joseph slowly opened his eyes. The doctors gasped.

"He's come back to life!" One of them exclaimed.

But suddenly the atmosphere inside the car changed. Jotaro furrowed his brows when he noticed the color of his grandfather's eyes changed and a purple, menacing aura glowed around him.

"O-Old Man…?" Jotaro called out.

Joseph turned his head to the side, seeing Dio's corpse. A huge, sinister grin spreads on his face behind the oxygen mask. The tubes used to transfer the blood were ripped off as Joseph sat up and removed the mask.

Joseph let out a dark chuckle, "You're such a fool, Jotaro!" He said.

"Y-You asshole! It can't be!" Jotaro cursed, putting his guard up as the two doctors panicked from behind.

"Thanks to you, I live again!"

"YOU BASTARD!" Jotaro yelled and manifested Star Platinum ready to strike.

Joseph instantly put his hands up in defense, "W-Wait, Jotaro! I'm kidding! Kidding! I'm only kidding!" He waved his hands, "It was just a joke! A joke!"

Jotaro only glared at him.

"I-I'm sorry! I was just messing with you a little, that's all!" Joseph apologized. "It's me! My name is Joseph Joestar, I was born on September 27th, 1920! My wife is Suzie Q and I like to collect comic books!"

Jotaro narrowed eyes, still not convinced. "Who's the female lead in the 1981 film, Tarzan, the Ape Man ?" He queried.

"Bo Derek."

"Who sang the parody of Beat It , named Eat It ?"

"Al Yankovic!"

Jotaro relaxed and sighed, "Good grief, I guess you are the real thing if you know pointless shit like that."

Joseph let out a sigh of relief.

"This is Car Two! This is a miracle! Mr. Joestar has just woken up! He's been brought back from the dead!" The driver cheered on the radio to inform everyone.

Jotaro averted his eyes to the vampire's corpse. "Now you've returned what you took from us, Dio." He muttered.

January, 17th, 1989

Noriko's eyes fluttered open and found herself staring at a white ceiling. "W-Where am I?" She asked herself. She attempted to sit up but immediately winced from the immense pain that came from her gut.

She then recalled the events prior. That's right, Dio had figured out her and Iggy's trick and attacked them both with his time-stop. She remembered trying to give a message to Joseph before passing out, believing it was her end. But she also remembers something very vague that happened afterwards. She heard constant barking next to her and she didn't know why.

Looking around the room, she saw Iggy in a small basket next to her. He was sleeping so peacefully in his little basket. He was bandaged up just like her. She wondered for how long she's been out.

Suddenly the door of the room opened. Noriko's brows raised up and her eyes sparkled with joy.

"You're finally awake." Jotaro said, walking over to her.

"J-JoJo…" Noriko said and a smile spread across her face, causing the delinquent's heart to skip a beat. Oh how much he missed seeing that smile.

"How long have you been up for?" He asked, sitting down on the edge of her bed.

"Just now." Noriko replied, "How long was I out?"

"Just a day." Jotaro answered. "You, Iggy and Avdol have been recovering since yesterday night. I asked Polnareff to search for you and he found Iggy using The Fool as a glider looking for you. They both found you on the water tower and Polnareff immediately contacted the Speedwagon Foundation. Polnareff said Iggy insisted on staying with you to keep you alive."

Noriko glanced at the Boston Terrier, "Iggy…" She thought.

"The doctors said his wounds were reopened after Dio attacked you both. But they were able to patch him up again so he'll be fine. And Avdol will be getting prosthetic arms."

"What?"

"Polnareff said that when they encountered the enemy back inside the mansion, Avdol pushed him and Iggy out of the way to save them but it cost both his arms." Jotaro explained. He gently placed his calloused hand around her delicate ones. "Gramps is currently speaking with the doctors and Dio has already been taken care of. His body turned to dust not too long ago." He added.

This was wonderful news. "I'm… so glad we made it out alive." Noriko stated, tears forming in her eyes as she clutched her blanket. "The thought of losing you and everyone…" She sobbed.

Jotaro wiped her tears off of her, "We're all here. It's over now." He said.

Noriko nodded and gave him a warm smile, "Thank you, JoJo."

Jotaro was leaning in to give her a kiss on the lips but the door burst open.

A loud gasp of joy escaped from the Frenchman's mouth. "Mr. Joestar! Noriko is awake!" Polnareff yelled down the hall.

Jotaro shoots a deadly glare at the Frenchman. Noriko chuckled, it was obvious he wanted to punch the shit out of him but restrained himself as the teens watched Polnareff and Joseph enter the room.

February 17th, 1989

A month has passed since the battle against Dio and the Crusaders were able to finally go home. Although Joseph, Jotaro and Polnareff were free to go a month ago but they chose to stay to support their wounded friends.

The Crusaders were gathered at the Cairo International Airport. Noriko was now able to stand on her own without using a cane to support her anymore and Avdol was finally able to adjust with his prosthetic arms.

"Mr. Avdol, are you sure you don't wanna come with us to see Miss Holly?" Noriko asked the Fortune-Teller while holding a sleeping Iggy in her arms.

Avdol simply shook his head, "I have to reopen my shop very soon. But give me a call when all of you arrive, no matter what time it is."

Noriko nodded her head.

Joseph turned to the Frenchman, "Are you really going back to France, Polnareff?" He asked, "You don't have family anymore over there, do you? Why not come to New York with me?"

Polnareff was kneeled down on the floor, securing his luggage. He looked up at the elder Joestar and gave him a smile as he rose back up.

"Mr. Joestar, even though my family is gone, France is still my homeland." Polnareff said. "I have a lot of good memories in my hometown." His eyelids lowered and looked down, showing a bit of sadness. "I have to go back no matter where my travels take me…" His eyes averted back to the Joestar with a smile. "But give me a call if you ever need me! No matter where you are in the world, I'll come running!"

"...It'll be lonely without you." Joseph muttered.

Everyone went quiet and stared at each other. They all smiled, recalling the adventurous journey.

"Even though we've been through many hardships, it was still a lot of fun." Polnareff stated. "It was a fun journey with you guys there."

"This trip was truly fun. I believe it from the bottom of my heart." Joseph smiled.

"Passengers on France International Airlines Flight 92, bound for Paris, please head to Gate 18."

The woman on the intercom said. This was their cue.

They all hugged together as a group, tears forming in their eyes but trying their hardest to hold it in.

"See ya later, you shit-stained geezer! I hope you live forever!" Polnareff told Joseph and spoke to everyone else. "You, his stubborn grandson, don't you dare forget me and take good care of Noriko, will ya? Noriko… I know one day you'll mature into a beautiful woman the next time we see each other and don't let Jotaro break your heart or I'll beat his ass! Iggy, you damn mutt… You may be annoying but I'll miss you buddy! And Avdol, I'll visit your shop sometimes, maybe even take you out to dinner!"

"We'll all meet each other again!" Joseph smiled, "Even if you're all sick of seeing my face!"

"I hope to see all of you in Cairo again." Avdol said. "No matter how long it takes."

"I couldn't forget any of you guys even if I tried." Jotaro said.

"I agree," Noriko nodded, "I'll see you guys again."

Polnareff swung his luggage over his shoulder, Joseph played The Beatles on his Walkman, Jotaro tipped his hat, Noriko ran her fingers through her bright-cherry red hair while holding Iggy, and Avdol adjusted his necklace.

And with that, the group departed to their designated gates.

The Crusaders settled in their seats and the plane ride back to Japan was going to take almost twenty hours. Joseph and Iggy sat next to each and behind them were Noriko and Jotaro.

Noriko couldn't wait to tell her family of her adventure and how many friends she's made but that won't change the fact that she'll be grounded for who knows how long. Maybe Joseph and Jotaro could persuade them to reduce her punishment. Her hands intertwined with the delinquent beside her and she noticed he was staring at a photo.

It was the group photo the Crusaders took back in Egypt when Iggy barely joined them. She saw her boyfriend smile and put the photograph back in one of the pockets of his jacket.

The red-headed teen smiled and snuggled on his arm before closing her eyes and dozing off. Jotaro gently kissed the top of her head and let his head relax on top of hers. A moment later, he too fell asleep.

To Be Continued…

So originally I was planning to have Noriko, Avdol and Iggy in the same room recovering like in Eyes Of Heaven but changed my mind since I wanted Noriko and Jotaro to have their little cute moment together. ( ˘⌣˘) (˘⌣˘ )

BUT this isn't over yet! One more chapter remains before we can begin Part 4! I have been brainstorming a lot of ideas for what I want, who will be genderbent and who will be paired with who and having some of the characters named changed to fit similar to their original. (ノ*°▽°*) Possibly changing one of the characters age too for the relationship.

Anyways, I'll see you guys next time! ~('▽^人)
