Looking through the display glass, Mordred's green eyes sparkled along with the twinkles from the precious stones in front of her. For all she knew, the value of diamonds now was as high as it was back then. And by some luck, her father would be getting one from his redhead lover.

"Oh!" Mordred exclaimed, pointing to a ring arranged at the centre of the shop. "This one's cool! It has small red stones around the big ass diamond!"

"I don't think Saber likes a fancy jewelry." Shirou, on the other hand, looked over the ones in the corner. He was sure his former Servant preferred those with simpler designs and smaller stones. He did not mean to spend lesser, but she was always more to minimalists than luxuries - she made it clear during their first date.

He kept scanning through the shop until he caught one that, based on his notion, was fitting for his dear Arturia. The solitaire ring had a silver band and a small round-cut diamond as its center, just simple and perfectly made.

"Mordred, how about this?" Shirou settled on the treasure once an employee took it out.

"Isn't that too cheap for an engagement?!" a yell echoed through the shop. "What the hell, only one stone? I found a three-stoned ring there!"

"Shh!" Shirou hushed, shoving a finger in front of the knight's lips. "Quit embarrassing me!"
