I dont think I am writing well, please review.

Skye's POV:

I groaned and rolled over in my bed, the sun barely peeking through the window. 'Why… Why did I agree to this?' I asked myself as I yawned and rubbed the sleep from my eyes. There were a couple reasons why I got the short end of the stick, the first being that I actually know the language and can speak it. The only other reason, and I quote, was "because I was very good at acting"... that's some messed up bullshit but it is what it is.

I got up from bed, feeling my 4 year old body aching with every movement. I did not want to go, not at this hour at least. I went to the bathroom and tried to shake off the drowsiness by washing my face, but it did nothing substantial. I still can't believe I am waking up this early.

After getting dressed, I grabbed a few ryo with me so I can have breakfast on the way. Since I did not know when and where to find Mizuki, I was basically gonna have to walk around the entire village until I somehow bumped into him. I left the house and began wandering aimlessly around Konoha.

Several hours later, I was cursing Ty under my breath. How dare he let his best friend go through such hardships just because of a scroll! Even if that scroll was for me… it's just too much. I have been just walking around for a couple hours now. On the way I bought myself a nice cup of OJ for good luck. Since I am a master at multitasking I decided instead of holding the cold metal cup with my hands, I'd use my force powers to just lift the cup for me. Of course it get's tiring after a while but it's good practice.

It was then that I turned a corner and saw him. A boy around the age of 10 was standing there outside a candy shop, snacking on some candy while deep in thought. He had a pale complexion with striking white hair that was covered by a green bandanna. He wore a brown flak jacket with a brown long sleeved shirt. He looked a lot more innocent as a kid than as an adult.

I quickly hid behind the corner and stopped levitating my cup, the last thing I want is him to get suspicious. My only way of approaching him now would be to act as a normal civilian and specifically as a kid who is a huge fan of ninja.

I walked up to him, trying my best to look nonchalant. "Hey, there. Are you by any chance a ninja?" I asked with the most "4 year old kid" attitude I could muster up.

He looked at me skeptically for a moment. "Yeah, what about it?" he asked. The fact that he was trying to sound call almost made me burst in laughter.

Well nevertheless, it's time to go fanboy mode. "Wow! That is so cool, I love ninjas!" I said while holding my hands together and jumping in excitement.

"Who are you?" he asked, his eyes still narrowed.

"Oh, me? I'm just a civilian. I've always admired ninjas, they are so cool!" I replied. He seemed to slowly let his guard down.

"You think so? Well I just became a genin." he said as he took out his forehead protector and showed it to me.

"Wow! That's so amazing! Man, I wish I could be like you." as I said that, his eyes seemed to widen.

"Yeah, I am pretty cool, I'll admit." He added on with his head high and his eyes closed.

And he already took the bait. In my head, I could not help but scoff at how easy it was to get him to bite the bait. This man, who would grow up to become a whole ass villain was now putty in my hands. 'Is this all it took to get you to become a dog on a leash,' I mockingly thought to myself.

But, I didn't let my thoughts show on my face. Instead, I kept up the act, smiling and nodding as Mizuki talked about his dreams of becoming a ninja that's feared by all of his enemies and loved by all of his fans. Bullshit.

Finally, after what felt like hours of acting like an obsessed fan, Mizuki had to leave to attend a meeting with his team. We exchanged goodbyes and I watched him walk away with a sense of satisfaction. This will be a lot easier than we thought.

As I began to walk away too, feeling tired from all the walking I've done today. I went back and got my big cup of OJ that I left around the corner earlier and as I began to walk towards my house, I was rudely stopped by a white haired kid, this time wearing a mask. It was Kakashi.

"What was all that about? You did not act like that when we met." He said while standing in front of me with his hands in his pockets.

"So now you're stalking me? I thought you weren't interested in anything that had to do with me?" I asked with a frown.

"Well… I guess I was wrong. You seem pretty interesting." He replied.

It is true that we did meet up before and we did part on good terms, but that still did not change the fact that I want nothing to do with this guy for now. His eyes shifted towards the floating cup next to me.

"How are you doing that?" He asked.

I was honestly frustrated by him blocking my path, I've had a long day and the last thing I wanted was to start a new conversation with none other than fucking Kakashi no less.

"Just tell me what you want, I gotta go home." I said with a scowl.

He seemed to catch on because he removed his hands from his pockets and became more upright. "Just curious really. When we met, you acted like you wanted to get out of there even though you knew I was a ninja. But in front of Mizuki, you acted like a big fan. Bit suspicious if you ask me." he said with a shrug.

"Are you bitter about it or something?" I asked, he seemed to give up as he let out a defeated sigh.

"No, I'm just curious. It seemed like you were trying to get on his good side on purpose. And you pulled it off pretty well. It was clear that you were mocking him." He replied.

Well leave it up to fucking Kakashi to catch on almost instantly. Kakashi was about the same age as Mizuki, but the difference between them is Obvious.

"You're just overthinking, maybe I don't like ninjas who have their heads up their ass." I stated. Kind of ironic, since the person I just talked to is the only one with their heads up their ass. Kakashi seemed to catch on since he let out a scoff.

I then began walking around him while taking a sip from my OJ. He seemed to leave me alone and not rudely intrude again. I could feel his gaze on my back as I left, but I paid no attention to it and continued my way back home.

Samui's POV

Today is the day that Skye meets with Mizuki or otherwise the execution of the first step in our plan. I am pretty confident that Skye will be able to pull it off pretty easily, so instead of worrying about that, I'll just wait till tomorrow when we meet up and hear about what happened from him.

I woke up early like I always do. For some reason, it became a habit that popped up out of nowhere. I got dressed and ready to leave the house since I had training with Unc today. I quickly visited my mom before leaving, which is something I'm trying to make a habit even though it is almost always just us awkwardly looking at each other. She seemed comfortable with it so I didn't mind either.

I left the house, headed to somewhere different than usual. This time instead of the Uchiha training grounds, my Uncle told me to meet him at a different training ground outside the Uchiha residence.

When I arrived, I saw my uncle waiting for me. He greeted me with a nod, and I returned the gesture. "How is your progress with the taijutsu technique?" he asked. I gave him a wide smile as well as a nod to convey that it was going well. He gave me a satisfied look before his expression turned serious again.

"I want to make it clear that as an Uchiha, we do not actually need a specific taijutsu technique. We have the Sharingan which allows us to not only copy other people's techniques but also find weaknesses in them and exploit those weaknesses. The taijutsu technique was created by my father during the warring states period because people who fought against the Uchiha would always target their Sharingan, which was our most feared ability. In the case that he lost his Sharingan for some reason, he created this taijutsu technique as a backup. After the war, he changed the technique to where it was more suitable as a foundational technique and taught it to me." He explained.

Seems like an interesting story, though one thing that caught my attention was that it was 'changed' to be a foundational technique. This technique might have had a better form in the past which was neat.

"Enough about that," he said. "Let's start with something new."

I was pretty excited to learn new things, after all anything in this world could happen and it won't hurt to know more than to know less.

He held out his hand and seemed to concentrate on it. A moment later, his hand began to glow a bright blue color. This was chakra! Fucking finally, I'm going to learn how to use chakra!

My uncle noticed my enthusiasm and he began to explain. "This is chakra. As you might already know, chakra is the energy that all ninja's use to perform jutsu. It's like the power source for all of our abilities. I'm going to teach you how to use it and how to control it."

He then proceeded to give me a brief explanation of what chakra is and how it works. Afterwards, he told me to sit down and get into a comfortable position as we were going to begin meditating. He gave me instructions on what I should do and I followed. I closed my eyes and focused on my breathing as he said, trying to calm myself down. He put his hand on my back, saying that he would help me pull out my chakra. As soon as he did that, I felt a familiar sensation. My body was warming up, it was getting hotter and hotter by the second. But with it, came heightened senses and an increase in power. I felt like I was surging through with energy. So this entire time, that was chakra?

He then removed his hand from my back. I looked at him, and as I did that his eyes twitched. "So you really did awaken them… the sharingan." For some reason, him saying that surprised me. I knew that I had awakened it from before but I didn't think it was that easy to use.

I gave him a sort of confused look, pleading for an explanation to try to change the course of the conversation. He noticed it and closed his eyes in contemplation. He then opened them again."The sharingan is a Bloodline Limit that only the Uchiha possess," he said. "It allows us to see things that normal people can't see. We can see chakra, which is the energy that all ninjas use to perform jutsu. We can also copy other people's jutsu just by watching them. And we can even see through genjutsu, which are illusions that can be cast on people to trick them."

"You seemed to have awakened them during the attack that happened a while ago." He added.

I gave him a surprised look so as to not cause him to get suspicious, even though I probably should've known this. "But Samui, do not show your sharingan to anyone else. If you do, they will consider you a prodigy. And if they do, then you might be drafted into war… something which you are not ready for. In reality, you are no prodigy. It was really just a fluke." He warned me.

Wow you did not have to say it like that… that is mean. But, granted, you are right and I am not a prodigy and I do not want to be. Getting drafted to fight in the third shinobi war sounds long and probably too deadly. Definitely too deadly.

My uncle then told me to stand up, and then he handed me something. He gave me a small leaf. "Since you can already technically use chakra, try to stick this leaf to your hand using it."

I gave him a confused look but nonetheless complied. I could still feel the warm chakra beneath my skin, surging through my body. I could even literally see it under my skin because of the sharingan. I placed the leaf in the middle of my palm and began trying to exert chakra to basically engulf the leaf, or so I imagined. And just like how I imagined, the blue energy left my hands and engulfed the entirety of the leaf. I then flipped my hand to see whether it stuck to my hand or not. Good news was, the leaf did not fall off. Bad news, it did not stick either. It just kept dangling off my hands.

I kept trying again and again, but nothing changed. "You should try to concentrate more, when you apply glue to something to stick it, you do not apply it to the entire thing." My uncle, who was watching me do this the entire time, said.

That actually made a lot of sense. I tried again, this time while only trying to apply the 'glue' to only 1 side of the leaf, which proved to be much easier said than done. As I try to limit the chakra and where to apply it, my chakra just goes to wherever I do not want it to go. I tried about two or three times before I finally got it, and as I turn my hard around, the leaf stays stuck to my hand. I turned to my uncle with a broad smile on my face, he then nodded to me in approval. I guess all Uchiha are quiet, I'm just glad it gives me an excuse to talk less.

My uncle's expression then seemed to turn sorrowful. He walked over to me and kneeled down to where his eyes were levelled with mine.

"By the end of this month, I'll probably called to fight in the war. When that happens, I want you to take care of my sister. I've left you some scrolls with my sister that continue a lot of things that you can learn. Including a scroll about the great fire ball jutsu… Apparently, the tides of the war are turning against us. So, take care of yourself… the mood in the village won't be so carefree anymore starting soon." He said.

I listened closely and nodded to what he told me. He is talking like he won't be coming back from war… so I guess the least I can do is nod to his requests. He then gave me a pat on my head and dismissed me.
