Chapter 2

"Alexanderson?"

Silence

"Alexanderson?"

Silence

"Alexanderson!!"

Silence

"oh dear god you gotta be kidding me. Lars Alexanderson!!"

Raven* nudged his friend awake "3.14!" He shouted suddenly, Ms. Anna face palmed, "I'm very happy you remembered the square root of pi but this is history!" Lars blushed cherry red as everyone in the class laughed loudly. "Sorry." Anna simply sighed "whatever lets get on with our lesson."

Lars sighed softly before putting his head on his desk he hated history, and more than that he hated falling asleep in class. Falling asleep in class meant one thing, that he was lagging in school work and when his father found out, no more hockey. The blonde sighed before resting his head on his text book, hockey was what he lived for, the one thing that made his father proud. If his father had things his way, Lars would play hockey day in and day out, hell, his father would build him a house inside the skating rink so his son could train non stop.

His mother said otherwise. His recently deceased mother had told his father on her death bed that if he pulled behind in school, or his life got out of control. No hockey. For good.

Soon Lars went from a D student to an A student. Despite all the crap Lars's father made him go through he loved his wife dearly and filled out her final wish.

After what seemed like forever the final bell rang and Lars and Raven stepped towards Lars's sleek sports car. It was a gift when he turned 16 after winning the finals.

The drive to the rink was mainly spent in silence until…

"LARS LOOK OUT!!"

The blonde slammed on the brakes when a silver ford cut him off without warning "what the hell?"

The two friends stared after it before shrugging, they had practice and they couldn't be late.
