A/N: I know I haven't updated in a long time, but here it is! Ignore the last line in the first chapter where it says something like "Riley hoping people don't recognize his writing". his teacher reads them aloud, the students don't actually read the journals. :)
"Okay class", announced the teacher. "I shall read your journals now", he proclaimed.
Riley sat on the edge of his chair anxious. He absolutely didn't want his teacher to read his private belongings aloud, knowing that someone special he knew would know his secret.
Riley blocked out the other journals that were being read and kept thinking about his own journal. "Maybe it wouldn't be that bad after all"?
"Okay. Now I will read… Riley's journal", He announced with a grin plastered on his face. Riley then groaned in frustration.
"October 9, 2010 (A/N: Seems like they've been in class for a year, huh?) I noticed KC walking across the campus. Her face more beautiful then ever (A/N: Ugh, I know it's cheesy.) I didn't know if she knew I had a huge crush on her or not." Riley now had put his head down on his desk, hard.
There were now a couple of snickers in the classroom as their teacher continued to read.
"I wish I could embrace her in a warm and loving hug, just to plant a kiss on her forehead." The teacher continued. KC then shot a glance at Riley. That was his final cue.
Riley ran outside and sat down with his back on a wall, his head in his hands. After a couple of minutes he heard a door open and familiar sounding footsteps walking towards him. "Riley, are you okay?" came a familiar and soothing voice.
He knew it was KC. He looked up to see her face looking right down at him. KC then crouched down right next to him and placed a hand on his shoulder. "Did you hear everything in my journal", He asked?
"That. and more. Like how you wanted to climb up a wall at night just to see me, or how you-" KC was cut off by Riley as he groaned in frustration again.
"But you haven't heard my journal yet have you?" She asked. Riley shook his head.
She then embraced him and whispered in his ear. "I wrote how much I love you too." (A/N: Too lazy to give examples on what she wrote about. I'm picking this up from my brain along the way. Lol, I didn't plan any of this.)
Riley perked his ears up and smiled up at her. Maybe the journal read-aloud wasn't such a bad idea.
A/N: That's all! I probably won't be writing anymore stories. I'm only 12 years old but very busy. I'm used to typing pretty grammarical (is that even a word?). So I try my best to type with good grammar. Thanks for reading! :)
