Harry wandered the corridors aimlessly on the beautiful spring evening, yearning for company, Ron and Hermione were in the library and Ginny was with Dean, Neville was with Luna and he was all by himself. He picked up his pace slightly as he heard footsteps behind him, it was probably Malfoy looking for a fight or someone coming to question him about his whereabouts around 3pm today... as his pace quickened so did the follower, he ducked behind a pillar to avoid this hallway stalker, as the figure passed he realised it was Cho, she was looking for him, with a confused look on her face.
"Cho?" he whispered, Cho jumped slightly, trying to locate the voice,
"Harry?" she replied, he stepped from the shadows smiling, she smiled back before turning away,
"Harry, would you like to go for a walk?" she asked still hiding her face; Harry laughed and took her arm in his,
"Shall we?" he put on a slightly over-British accent to make Cho laughed, he loved her laugh – it was soft and gentle just like her. The two walked into the fields out the back of the castle, the conversation varied from Dumbledore's army to Quidditch to music to Diagon Alley.
Neither seemed to notice they were walking on loose, damp ground before it was too late, Cho lost her footing, pulling Harry down with her, the two landed in a heap on the floor, legs entwined as Harry failed to help her keep her footing. Harry pushed himself on to his elbows so he could look Cho in the face,
"Cho? Are you okay?" he sounded concerned, Cho also pushed herself up,
"I'm fine, I landed on something soft!" Cho looked around to find what it was, Harry smiled,
"That was me" the two started to laugh, looking into one another's eyes. As the laughter ran out, Cho lifted her hand up to brush Harry's hair out of his face, he figured it was to look at the legendary scare his forehead bared but her response was something he had been longing to hear,
"Harry, you have beautiful eyes" she whispered, well it may have been a little different than he had hoped but none the less he took the opportunity to kiss her softly. The kiss brought back memories from last Christmas in the Room of Requirement. She placed her hand on his cheek as he held her jaw lightly. Suddenly it all stopped, Cho had pulled back,
"I-I- I'm sorry, I don't know why I did that" Cho blushed, Harry couldn't see for sure due to it being evening, but he could tell as her face raised in temperature. He forgot he was still holding her face, dropping his hand he smiled,
"I'm sorry, I can be a bad influence on people sometimes, Hermione used to be a quiet student before we befriended her!" he laughed with Cho once more. Cho dropped back to the ground and placed her hands behind her head and looked into the clear night sky, Harry mimicked her,
"This one is called Orion, can you see it?"Cho asked while pointing up at the sky, Harry, who was familiar with stars and constellations, was sneaky in his response,
"No, all I see are stars in clusters..." he smirked as she pulled him closer. The two lay there, looking at the starts for while longer, just talking and getting to know one another better. This is just what they both wanted, even if either admitted it out loud.
