Sorry I haven't updated in so long. Homework piles up fast! Also, I realized I made a mistake (thanks infamous guest) for pointing I said Ollie was in Berlin one chapter and then Russia the next. I would like to say Ollie IS in Berlin, Germany. Anyway new chapter! Sorry its so short, kinda had a case of writer's block.

Chapter 3 Tara's POV

I led Christian inside our old school. I know I should be thinking about him and Kat but my mind lingered back to Ben. His face before he left haunted my thoughts and consumed my attention. Why was Ben disappointed when Christian arrived but happy when we were alone? I was awaken from my thoughts hearing classical music blarring through a studio door.

"I think Kat's class is over in about 10 minutes,"I explained to Christian. He nodded understandingly and sat on a bench near the door. I chose to stand and allow Ben to fill my mind again. Why am I so hung up on this? I guess I'm just surprised he came back from the Company. Apparently 10 minutes goes by quickly because Kat had engulfed me in a hug. I smiled and wrapped my arms around my best friend. We released as she saw Christian behind my shoulder. She ran around me and hugged Christian, which she returned.

"I thought you weren't coming back after your work in Sammy's memorial," she said quietly. Everyone knew Sammy was a soft topic on Kat. She always did her best to get closure: suffered bulimia, met Sammy's killer, and took up acting. Acting really helped her after her movie in 2nd year. Kat also had a sensitive spot for 2nd year because she thought I would end like Sammy. I wonder if I would still be dancing if I never slipped on that bead during my performance? What if I went first, or last, or not at all?

"We should all hang out sometime! Maybe Sunday when I don't have class," Kat offered. Christian and I agreed to the plan. We talked about each other's where-abouts and lives since/in the Academy. After another few minutes Kat had another class, prompting mine and Christian's departure. He decided to leave for his hotel after I got home, leaving me alone. I was, once again, reading when a knock sounded at the door,

Who could possibly be next, Grace?

I opened the door to reveal Ben, red eyed. He was breathing heavily and had a serious look spread across his face. Before I could ask what was wrong he took hold my shoulders and leaned down. His eyes gradually shut, mine growing wider. What is he trying to do and why aren't I stopping him?
