Love and Betrayal
Disclaimer: I don't own Katekyo Hitman Reborn. Akira Amano does.
"I love you, Mukuro."
"I do too." Mukuro said, wrapping his arms around his lover's waist.
They had a make out session after Tsuna came back from school, and whenever he sees the illusionist, he felt happy and content, and how he was lucky he had a lover like Rokudo Mukuro.
But sad at the same time.
He noticed. The words his lover said. He says "I love you" all the time. Yet, his mist guardian never said it. "Me too" , "I feel the same" were words the guardian often said. Tsuna had never heard the world 'love' coming out from it.
And lately, his boyfriend has been coming home late. He knew that Mukuro wasn't a busy guy, since he had been freed from Vendicare, which means he doesn't have to hold his power out or anything. He was never busy to begin with, anyway.
'Is he cheating on me?" Tsuna thought, a tear rolling down his cheek. 'It's impossible right? But it is the only reason I could think of.' He laughs bitterly. "I wonder what Reborn would say if he sees me in this pathetic state. At least he's with mom."
"What's wrong, Tsunayoshi?" Mukuro interrupted, closing the door behind him. "You shouldn't stay late at night. It's already 3 am." He looked at the clock that was in the living room. Tsuna had brushed away the lone tear when he heard the door open, to prevent Mukuro from asking why he was crying. He can't lie, not to him. "Gomenasai, I was waiting for you."
"Oya, oya. How sweet of you, Tsunayoshi." Mukuro smirked, strutting his way to his lover.
Their distance lessened and lessened until it was a few inches left between them.
And the brunette shuddered at the hot breath that was attacking his neck.
"Kufufufufu, your face is red, that's cute." Tsunayoshi was then kissed hungrily. His mind screamed to kiss back, until he remembered the cause of his pain and suffering. "It's getting late, let's go to bed. Even though okaa-san is not here, doesn't mean we can stay this late. She trusts you, after all." He pushed away.
Mukuro looked hurt.
But Tsuna depicts it as a fake, as a shield to cover up the truth.
On his way back from school, he saw a figure talking to a young woman. The figure looked happy.
"M-mukuro?" He whispered.
He was on the verge of crying, but he'd be damned if he showed any weaknesses.
The said man looked at the direction of the voice. "Tsu-nayoshi." His eyes widened. "I-"
But the brunette was long gone.
