Alistair's Pov

Zoe and I walked to Verian's private hanger only to find that he was not there. Instead we found Delta and Skylar arguing about something

that is completely irrelevant to our mission. I turned to Zoe and gave her the 'here we go again' look.

"Don't say a word, let's find out what it is they are arguing about before jumping to conclusions." Zoe stated

Those two are always arguing about who is faster, or who got more kills in a mission. Too many missions have gone from stealth to all out

battles because the two like to 'one up' the other.

"Well, where is he this is his mission to lead." Delta shouted.

"I don't know he was gone before I woke up this morning." Skylar retorted.

"He's your boyfriend, how could you not know."

Zoe and I stood there watching the siblings argue until we heard a voice from the entrance hatch of the ship.

"He was ordered to report to the council on an emergency matter, and will join you in the throne room shortly after arrival."

We all look up to see my second in command, Lucas.

"Hey Luke, are you flying us there or are you staying or the party?" I asked.

"Na, I have to report back to communications, but if you could pass the word, tell Verian that Omega is coming."

I paled at the knowledge of the two most powerful fleets in the universe defending Earth together.

"Will do." I reply not, sure why we need both fleets to defeat the Giants and Titans.

"Well let's get you guy's to Olympus."

20 Minutes Later

Luke flies the gunship expertly to a hovering position above a courtyard just outside the Olympian throne room. He leveled the ship out before

giving the thumbs up. The four of us repel down into the courtyard, and scatter away from the aircraft, so to not get caught in the up draft. The

four of us walk to the throne room doors and stop just outside to find Lord Chaos standing there waiting or us.

"Sir where is Demon?" Delta asks.

"he's on his way, he ran an errand for me."

"Why are you here sir?" I ask.

"I must warn you, I came to Olympus a week ago to tell the gods of our involvement. I'mm afraid it took much time to convince

them they needed our help. They will try to test you, be confident but not cocky. Understood?"

"Yes."

The four of us gave glances at each other, all thinking the same thing: Verian would be good to have in this situation. I took a deep breath before

stepping forward and opening the golden doors. On the inside there was nothing but silence as fourteen gods and many of their children watched

us walk to the center of the throne room.

"You all have nerve coming into our throne room uninvited and not bowing to superior beings." Zeus states arrogantly.

"There are only five people that I will bow to, my commander and the council." Delts states firmly.

"Ah, Yes the council. They think that the mighty Olympian gods need assistance. Look before you, observe the most powerful demigods ever

known." Zeus states as all the demigods stand up and draw weapons looking upon the warriors of Chaos in anger. More demigods, both Greek and

Roman file into the throne room as well as the Hunters of Artemis. Over two hundred armored demigods stood before us.

"This powerful war machine has won the last two wars against the Titans and Giants alone."

"The most powerful you say? I knew of one other." Delta states as I pale underneath my hood, "There was one hero that stood out among many,

one that didn't fight for his own pride, or fame, but for the survival of his family. He was there in both wars, he lead, he bled, and nearly died in

Tartarus. He was a honorable and noble hero, only for his friends to leave him, his girlfriend to cheat on him, and his family to betray him."

Delta paused an looked around the room, looking everyone in the eye, watching as their faces paled and fall in shame.

"Yes, I know the legend of Percy Jackson, we all do. His story is well known across the stars. "The Betrayed One" they call him. You won't win this

war without him, but let me ask where is he now?"

I looked around the room, everyone had their heads down, and no one would meet our eyes. If only they knew that I was so close to them

now. Only the council, Zoe, Skylar, and Verian know who I really am. I want to keep it that way.

"We don't need that freak. He was weak, and betrayed us. You should get your facts straight. He died a long time ago." A voice shouted, it was my

old backstabbing, girlfriend stealing, man-whore of a brother, Darius Morrison.

Delta broadened his shoulders, displaying a physique of rippling muscles, "Who might you be boy?"

"Darius Morrison, Son of Poseidon. The greatest hero that has ever been born." He stated with an arrogant smirk.

As the debate rolled on, I looked around the room and saw different expressions on the gods faces. Those who defended me, Apollo,

Artemis, Ares, Hestia, Hephaestus, and Hades, were all very angry. So were their children or followers. Unfortunately I am still at a disadvantage

considering only four of them are actually on the council.

I tuned out the conversation until Zoe bumped me, telling me to focus. That's when Zeus had to open his bid mouth.

"Which one of you brats is the leader?" Now we had everyone's attention.

"He is not here." I stated.

"Well, where is he so I can beat him in a duel to prove that you are weak." Zeus says as he stands with his master bolt in hand. I was about to retort when a dark, demonic voice rang through the throne room.

"Defeat me you say? I'd like to see you try."

Annabeth POV

The four warriors of Chaos were standing in the throne room when I noticed not all of them had said anything. The one introduced as Delta spoke

most of the time, the only other person of the four that spoke was the other male. His voice seemed familiar, but I could no place the source. The

two females that stood beside the males seemed to have critical eyes for everything that transpired. Any move made, they both shifted to the

maker. All four were dressed in similar attire. Black combat boots, black combat pants, dark silver shirts covered by black cloaks. Their heads

adorned by hoods, and their faces covered by masks. The only difference between them, besides appearance, was the weapons they carried. Delta

carried a long sword on his back and knives at his belt, the male on his left carried two sword sheathed at his waist while the female next to him

carried hunting knives and a set of bow and arrows. The female on the left of delta had a sniper rifle slung across her back and holstered pistols at

her waist.

I just tuned back into the conversation when Lord Zeus challenged their leader. And a fearful voice rang out.

"Defeat me you say? I'd like to see you try. Many others have tried, my blade still drips of their blood. I was once like yourselves,

the top of my world. But I watched as everyone around me fell to barbarians. Since I have become the hero to the people of pure

intent. The freedom in times of oppression. The shining light in times of darkness. I became the spark of light that ignited the fires

of hope."

As all light in the throne room goes out, many screams can be heard. "Who are you!?" Zeus screamed in fear. The light returns, and there

standing in the middle of the throne room with the same attire as the Warriors of Chaos, is a man of a 6' 5" stature, with so many weapons I can't

keep count.

"That depends on whether you are my ally or my enemy. To the universe I am known as the Champion of light, The Conqueror of

darkness, the vanquisher of evil, the guardian of hope, but I am most known as the god slayer. Many deities have fallen to my

blades. Across the stars I am a hero, a liberator, a friend, a new beginning, a fresh start. But deep down I am something more, I

will make you tremble in fear, fall to your knees and you will beg for death. Deep down I am nothing more than a DEMON."
