Scott stepped back, eyes raging red. Allison looked at him in confusion, not until she heard the shotgun fire, did she realize what was going on. Scott tackled her to the ground, protecting her from the danger she didn't know was there. Dylan stood above them, a smile on his face and a shot gun pointed at their heads. Switching back and forth between the two of the two. "Should I kill you and say it was the beast" he said looking directly at Allison."Or just kill you and tell the council, about this little affair, leaving the council to deal with her." Now looking at Scott with the same smugness, he was baiting him, and everyone knew it. "Decisions, decisions" Dylan taunted, smiling back at the bow and arrows were too far away, she swiped her foot forward knocking Dylan to the and Scott stood up simultaneously. "That's exactly why we never worked Dylan, you never think before you speak." Allison retorted standing above him. Scott reached down at him claws elongated, he gripped Dylan off the ground. "You think it's nice to threaten girls, I will show you a threat." Grabbing him by his neck, and letting his claw sink into his skin. "Scott, No." Allison said, calmly placing her hand on Scott's shoulder. "He's not worth it." She said, by his side. Scott hesitated at first looking Dylan up and down, before tossing him, back to the ground. Dylan immediately reached for his throat trying to regain his breathe. Allison laughed reaching down for her bows and arrows, in the same instant she stood up, she felt it. felt the atmosphere change. Blood was everywhere, and everything seemed to go in slow motion, she reached out for Scott as he fell to the ground, grabbing at his stomach."What did you do!" she screamed at no one in dropped down next to him, searching frantically for the source of the blood, but there was too much and she couldn't wipe it away fast enough. She looked down at Scott, his eyes weren't red, and his face was soft. He was just a boy, and he was dying. Her eyes were wet now, but she refused to cry. To show weakness. "Why aren't you healing, why is there so much blood!" She screamed her voice was panicked she knew it, but she didn't care. Scott looked up at her, giving her a broken smile, she wasn't sure what to do, who to blame. This was partially her fault, she brought him into this, brought them to him. She stroked his face gently, looking down at his soft face, she felt a sudden burst of anger. She lifted her bow and arrow from beside her, and stood up. Switching her bow and arrow between Dylan and the recruit. "Which one of you did it, which one of you shot him." She glared angrily at the both of them. Neither spoke. "Don't tell me you feel sorry for the beast, wow Allison you really have sunk low. Have you forgotten what is he is. He is a monster and will always be." His voice was hoarse, but his words were strong. "The only monster here is you Dylan, you and your mission to destroy things you don't understand." She yelled. "Oh I understand them alright, which is why I laced all the bullets with wolfsbane." He smiled smugly. "Do you honestly think I would be as stupid as to put down a mut, without making sure they stayed down." He sat up now, smiling at Scott's still body. "You are sick, I should have seen it earlier, your insane, you-" She turned towards the recruit."You move again, and you will get a bow in your throat."She threatened. The recruit smiled, but stopped where he looked down at Scott, the blood stopped or at least that's what it looked like. She didn't know if that was a good thing or a bad thing, a tear snuck down her cheek. She wanted to wipe it away, to hide her weakness, but if she moved, even an inch, so would they. So she turned back at Dylan, looking through her tears, the bow shaking in her hands, he smiled, thinking she was at her breaking point. But he was wrong, those weren't the tears of defeat, but of anger. She aimed her bow, directly at Dylan's heart, pulling the string back, ready for the kill. Letting go of the string, being tackled to the ground simultaneously, completely caught off guard her shot missed. The arrow was stuck in the tree, and Dylan was safe on the ground. She looked up to see the recruit. His blade to her throat. "What was that about my throat." He gave a evil grin, pushing the knife harder, blood trickling down her collarbone. She pushed hard, trying to push him off her, but he was too strong an the knife was only going deeper, he laughed, as she squirmed. She closed her eyes, and took a breathe before trying one more time, the closeness of the knife proved it could be the last. She pushed him with all she had, and it actually worked, he flew off her. She smiled at her own strength, wiping away the blood from her neck. She sat up to see Scott holding the recruit in his arms as he towered over Dylan. "Scott?" she yelled in confusion, he turned towards her, his face was still soft, but his eyes were not, he turned back towards the recruit clawing at his neck. He dropped the recruit to his feet. "How do you like it"He mocked as the recruit squirmed on the ground, grabbing at his throat. "Now for you." He said walking closer to Dylan. "How are you alive, you should be dead right now." Dylan said, hos voice trembling. "Funny, I was thinking the same about you" He snarked. Allison ran to them, she watched Scott in amazement. Scott turned to her, all his anger fading. Knowing she was safe calmed smiled again, this time it met his eyes, and she smiled back. He screamed out as Dylan jammed a knife into his leg, before getting up and running into the woods. The recruit following close behind. Allison immediately ran to Scott's side pulling the knife out. "Are you okay?" she asked, concerned about more than just his leg."I thought you were lost for good, any other wolf would be" she said. "But you keep forgetting,I am not any other wolf." He said with a smile.
